NASA's advice for near-term meteor strike: "Pray"
At a House Committee hearing Tuesday, NASA administrator Charles Bolden Jr. was asked what America would do if a meteor similar to the one that hit in Russia on Feb. 15 was found to be on a path toward New York City, with impact three weeks away. His response? “Pray.“
At the moment, we might be lucky to get even three weeks warning. The United States and the rest of the world simply do not have the ability to detect many “small” meteors like the one that exploded over Russia, which has been estimated at roughly 55 feet long. Donald Yeomans, Manager of NASA’s Near-Earth Object Program Office and the author of “Near-Earth Objects: Finding Them Before They Find Us,” told CBSNews.com that there are a lot of these small meteors in orbit, and little early warning system in place to detect them.

Why would THEY warn of, so destruction could happen before destruction?
Besides, if push comes to shove….would you be willing to share your supplies with so many that they would not last a day??
What I see, is very selfish people with lots of our money being backed by huge corporations that we buy from so they can make underground survival homes for themselves….
If they would just be honest….WE would all be prepared, we would have started making homes unground with radiant energy, if it wasn’t hidden from us by said huge companies, we would all be proficient in farming, building, mechanics, and so on.
But since we are treated as children, we are to young to understand the importance of self reliance, that’s for huge corporations to do for us, since we can not do for ourselves….we as people never pioneered or tamed the west, we never figured out how to be self sustaining…instead said companies just introduced packaged food for convenience , had us rely on oil so we could have turf wars with the world, and of course tax the crap out of us for every penny…..how is it, people do not see being taxed several times for the same dollar??
Taxed when you get it…taxed when you spend it…and taxed for every year of making already taxed money?!?!
But hey, since companies owned by stockholders are people…they deserve to be treated like an individual , then why do said companies not have to pay taxes like the rest of us?
Simple questions deserve simple answers, not 15000 pages of law for taxes.
