Prophecy: Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone Will be Next Pope

When the last pope stepped down recently, prophecy experts from around the world knew something was happening. Now, someone who is schooled in a wide range of prophecies predicts Cardinal Bertone—currently the temporary head of the Vatican—will become the next pope.

I think Bertone is the last one they would pick and choosing Pius XIII is the last name any of them would choose at this juncture, specifically to avoid the prophesy from becoming self fulfilling.

You are correct by saying only Cardinals can elect a pope. But you are wrong when you say only Cardinals can be elected to the papacy.
ANY baptized, faithful male Catholic can be elected pope — whether or not they are a cardinal, bishop or priest. But if a lay Catholic were elected pope, that person would first have to receive Holy Orders before assuming papal duties.
I think the next Pope should be a black lesbian with a supermodel girlfriend to please the media, move the institution upto date with MTV and Fox etc, she should also be a vampire, very popular with the kids.
