So, what this says is to repeat the OT regarding sexual immorality, but there IS another way and that is to repent of this sin like you would of any other sin but SIN NO MORE. That is the difference I true repentance is that once you realize your sin, you repent and what does repent mean? It means you STOP practicing whatever sin you are repenting of. The problem with homosexuality is that because this world says you are born this way that you should be allowed to live any way you want. THIS is where the rub is, because Gods word said this is forgivable if you repent and stop practicing it, like one would do with say stealing, lying, murder, covetousness. The Church has never condemned homosexuals or anyone else. What the Church condemns are sinful acts. And the Church only condemns them because the Bible does. The Church did not write the Bible and does not have the authority to amend what it says.
The Church is merely a group individuals who, despite human frailty, try to follow the teachings of the Bible. It is the Bible, not the Church, that determines what and what is not a sin.
