Actually, our belief system is the only one that comes with PROOF that it is written for us and intended for us from our Creator and can be trusted. The proof is the prophecy that is in it. Everyone, even Christians have fallen for the belief that it is impossible to know that the bible is the Word of God but they are wrong.
The Bible is full of prophecy; the telling of an event or events years even centuries before they happen and when they do make their mark on history, they all come to pass EXACTLY as they were prophesied. The biggest subject of great prophetic importance is Jesus Christ.
There are over 300 prophecies of Christ in the Old Testament. Dr. Peter Stoner once calculated the odds that for just 8 of the 300+ prophecies written about Jesus Christ in the Old Testament to come to pass in this one person, exactly as prophesied without prior knowledge (most were written hundreds years before he was born!) would be 1×10 to the 28th power (to one) or 10 with 28 zero’s after it! That’s for only 8 of them! There are 300! Once you understand this and check the facts to see they are true, you can’t help but believe that God wrote it! and if you factor the rest of the 292 prophecies, the number becomes so big that it is futile to write on paper, in other words, IMPOSSIBLE.
There is much proof in the bible that it is the inspired word of God to His Creation but the problem is not unbelief but neglecting to do the research to find the truth. If someone wants to learn the truth about the bible, and they go in search of that truth, they will, in fact, find that truth EVERY time but most take other peoples opinion as their own belief system. That is not only lazy but inaccurate. Do your own study instead of believing what people say and what skeptics believe.

The ultimate difference is that the bible is right 100% of the time. In the Dead Sea Scrolls, there is confirmed prophecy in the book of Isaiah and Psalms and the scrolls themselves prove the accuracy of the written word because the ancient Masoretic text were compared to the scrolls and found to be virtually identical to the Hebrew manuscripts thereby verifying the unchangeable nature of scripture.

You’ve actually hit on the very point the author was making, you haven’t studied the bible. Once you do you will realise why Mayans, Hoppi’s etc believed as they did and what they were told, all goes back to Ancient Babylon. To understand New Testament you must understand the Old Testament and how amazingly everything fits together. No-one could fake this book, down to it’s historic, prophetic, numerically amazing accounts.

Bible prophecy is EXACT and very extremely particular. You obviously didn’t read the article above. The Messianic Psalms go into very great detail about how Christ was to be crucified and that, 800 years before Rome adopted the method of crucifixion as a means of capital punishment. They gambled for His garments, they named the exact price for His denial by Judas, they even told of His being given vinegar in a sponge. How EXACT can you get?

Did you know, as to the crucifixion, there is even nowhere in the New Testament where it is said the Lord Jesus’ feet were pierced. But this is, in fact, in Psalm 22, prophesied exactly so, about 1,000 years before Jesus Christ was born, before there was such a thing as Roman crucifixion, before there was a Roman Empire!
Psalms 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
And, of course, other details of the crucifixion in Psalm 22, again, 1,000 years before the birth of Jesus Christ.

Pvt Roman isnt a bad person, this is his first assignment after boot camp. He wants to give water, but the bucket is vinegar and the training is to dunk sponge and pass, not to smell bucket. You have free will to the extent of making your own choices. Prophecy does not preclude free will it merely knows what choice you are going to make in the future and records it. There is a difference between precognition and using that precognition to interfere with someone’s choices. For instance, the NSA spying on people may know that a certain action is going to occur. If they don’t step in and stop the action, you would never know they were spying on you and you would never know that they knew about it. Someone going through the NSA files finds a document that tells about the action you were going to take days, months, years before it happened — big brother prophecy. The concept is really quite simple.
What does the Council of Nicaea have to do with the Scriptures? …Other than the fact that the New Testament books were collated and canonized by this group of pagan churchmen, that is. They weighed and counted and they determined which books were the inspired Word — and they never intended to share those works with the illiterate and uninitiated cattle — the common man. The Bible, as it exists today, was never meant by the Holy Roman Empire to proliferate into the hands of commoners. The Bible was always intended to be used as a WEAPON against man by the Holy Roman Empire.
And incidentally — free will is a myth. Scripture negates the very concept. There is only SELF WILL, which is anything but free. Self will is the natural and sinful state of man. The man is to break his own self will, and render his vessel compatible with the Will of the Most High, if the man is to become a son of the Most High. The only way he can do that is to empty his vessel. Anything he leaves in his vessel which comes from himself is tainted, is unclean, and is impure. The vessel must be emptied and cleaned before it can become a viable receptacle for the clean and the pure.
Free will is a doctrine of man. No such thing ever existed in this world.

I would say it this way, we are free to choose the tree of life or the tree that leads to death.
I hear Christ tell us “choose life”: we have the right to choose to obey or not to obey.
It is our choice! I have never been clear on “free will” I never heard anyone give a definition that gave me a clear understanding.

This is the blind stupidity of atheism. One could say, okay then, you prove there’s no God. Of course, they can’t. What they can’t possibly know to be true, that there is no God, they turn into a fundamental belief system. I can well show why I believe in the Lord, what I know to be true, from even real experience, and why, as in this article about the supernatural nature of prophecy, there in overwhelming reason to believe in God, in black and white. In the final analysis, for the atheist to stand on something he can’t know to be true, even stake his eternal life on a theory based in blind ignorance, is just stupidity. They never even bother to look into anything, hence all the stupid statements like prophecy being vague: they know nothing of prophecy, in the first place. I can respect a person who’s agnostic, who will admit they don’t really know anything, but an atheist? They really know nothing, yet claim to know. If they even were able to admit they know nothing, that would at least be a basis in intellect to progress from. You can’t understand God because He is eternal. You are mortal and finite. God is infinite and beyond comprehension and it bothers you that you don’t know how He could possibly have created the time/space continuum and everything in it. These questions have led man to search the deepest parts of his being for answers in greater and greater endeavors of philosophy and pagan religion but only one truth can be right. We are ingrained with that truth when we are born. (Romans 1:19)
Man is born with a sin nature inherited from his ancestors, all the way back to the very first man and woman born. A child needn’t be taught how to be selfish or how to get angry. Those things are natural to him because he is a sinner. Later, as he is trained in the things of God (not many train their children that way and haven’t for many decades) and he understands his dilemma, he chooses either to repent and be born again or to continue in sin stubbornly ignoring the still small voice of the Creator in him. If he continues to ignore his conscience, God says he is given over to a reprobate mind to do the things which his conscience would normally stop him from doing and his mind is filled with these evil things. Paul goes on to list the many wicked things that come from the heart of a reprobate person.(Romans 1:28-32)
Once given over, the conscience is seared as with a hot iron and the child can no longer determine for himself the difference between right and wrong and he goes on in darkness. As long as he chooses his own selfish desires over God’s will and the love and consideration of others, he walks in darkness looking for others that are lost in darkness. That is not a problem because many people choose not to know and understand who they are and who their Creator is so they have lots of company.
After years and decades of choosing the wrong way, they are so deadened to sin and corruption that they are blind and hardened and the only hope for them is for someone to be praying for them. So, with so many set on finding their own way in a society, that society begins to blaspheme God and to change His ordinances and laws. (a condition which this country is under at the present time) and the society goes downhill into deeper and deeper corruption. That society doesn’t last because the governing bodies also are corrupt and soon there is a revolution or in some cases, a judgement of God in which He intervenes and destroys a city or a civilization. That is what is coming on this country and all of Western culture. Judgement, in the form of God pouring out His wrath on the earth, coming soon to a city near you.
I still find it hard to fathom the strength of that darkness and its blindness. It is simply incredible. They date fossils by the geologic column they are found in, and date the geologic column by the fossils found in it. They can’t even explain how the fossils of these tiny, fragile creatures got in the geologic layers, mock the idea of a flood, when millions of huge buffalo are completely gone from less than 200 years ago, decayed to nothing, yet these zillions of fossils, even on the highest mountain tops, somehow escaped decay over those millions and millions of years all these layers were slowly forming? You couldn’t find what should be more transitional forms than existing species in the fossil record, not even one verifiable to save your life. There’s nothing living and “in-between” on the planet. Just like the Big Bang matter that came from nowhere, there are all these voodoo “scientific” claims that come from and to nothing. You have a universe billions of years old (takes a real fancy clock to measure that…), yet only a couple inches cosmic dust on the moon, with an influx rate that should indicate thousands of feet of dust captured over a billion years: NASA actually was afraid the lunar landing module would completely sink in dust, but, what do you know? Somebody must be vacuum cleaning the moon in Carl Sagan’s billions and billions economy these dolts are all signed up for, despite all the contrary evidence, evidence right in their faces! The earth should be, also, buried in cosmic dust or cosmic dust slop tailings, on land and at the bottom of the oceans, based on known rate of influx. You have planets with molten cores and magnetic field decay at given rates, planets that, somehow and miraculously, haven’t cooled in those billions of years, magnetic fields still in place that should have decayed, relatively, around the time the universe was Big Bangin’ that matter that popped into existence from nothing. It really must be hard to go through life as an atheist, so confused and in denial of reality, on just about every level.

Name one prophecy the Bible failed in, simply put, you cannot. There were over 100 prophecies concerning Christ’s first coming that were fulfilled to the letter. Right down to the betrayal for 30 pieces of silver and it being used to purchase a potters field. Secondly the prophecies concerning his second coming are also being fulfilled to the letter.

You guys DO know the ORIGINAL Bible was written by the Sumerians 2000 years before Jesus right? It was called the Epic Of Gilgamesh, and it tells of encounters with ‘Gods’ that came from the stars and showed them writing, math, science, architecture, etc. They also found clay tablets made by the Sumerians which depict helicopters, airplanes, and flying cars.

Then a 100 years or so later Judah was taken captive, and taken to Baylon. WHich again was prophecied and fullfilled. These events on Spiritual Israel are about to take place again.

There’s another huge area that is being overlooked, ignored, or denied. In addition to the physical and archeological evidence that there is a Creator, there’s the spiritual side. The countless events that occur all over the world on a daily basis, which are also well documented.
Miracles, visits by angels- both good and bad, near death experiences, and so on. The list is quite long. These events happen to all races, tribes, cultures. Do non-believers honestly think they can write off all of these events, even though such events also happen to non-believers? There is no logical way to do this, and remain intellectually honest.
Therefore, if such events happen to step on the toes of some who don’t want to believe, it is unfortunate that these individuals choose to do so. And if these events happen to step on the toes of those who believe a certain way, it is a wonderful opportunity to break free of the in-the-box thinking that you’ve been taught.
But to all of you, no matter what you believe, if you don’t understand that it’s more important to love your fellow humans first, laying aside pride, prejudice, anger, resentment, you have accomplished nothing. Believe what you want. Live as you wish.
Do you believe? Fine. Do you feed the hungry? Help those in need? Ok, but do you love the non-believers? Cherish their humanity? Your words don’t reflect that at times.
Are you a non-believer? Do you take care of your family? Help your neighbors? Ok, but do you love the believers? Cherish their humanity? Neither do your words reflect that much of the time.
