It has become an accelerating spiral into hell, which they will term the New World Religion. Well thats only true if the New world belongs to Satan or Lucifer, which it doesn’t and never will. I agree with many things you say. However, due to scriptural reasons, I cannot agree that the 7th Day Adventist Church is the true church. I must say, however, that they stand firm against the unbiblical doctrine of hellfire, and the heathen teaching of the immortal soul. This, however, is not good enough to classify them as a beacon of truth.
This denomination is, like all Christendom, corrupt with false teaching. You believe in coming out of Babylon, which is to be commended, yet the 7th Day Adventist Church clings to the blasphemous doctrine of the Trinity- a teaching, by the way, which was handed down from the Great Harlot mother church. It claims that 1 = 3, that God sent himself, that Jesus was a God-man, that God prayed to and worshiped himself, that God can die, that the Son is as old as his Father, etc. Moreover, its roots are clearly heathen, as belief in a Trinity is found in many ancient religions. Yet it s claimed by many so-called Christian denominations that this “mystery” of a triune God must be believed in, in order to be saved. They claim this despite the fact that Jesus’ prayer to the father shows that Jesus is not God (John 17:3; 1 Tim. 2:5).
In viewing the 7th day church web site, it is clear that they do not understand God’s purpose of Christ’s Millennial Kingdom. It is to be the glorious time when Christ (aided by the members of his glorified church- who, as kings and priests) shall reign over the resurrected unsaved world with a rod of iron. This is when God’s spirit shall be on all flesh, instructing mankind in the way of righteousness. It is pictured as the time when men shall prove through their actions, whether they embrace or reject righteousness (Matthew 25:31-46) At the culmination of Christ’s reign, Satan shall be loosed, and test mankind’s worthiness or unworthiness of eternal life on earth.
There are many more erroneous teachings within this denomination. It fails to recognize the reason and meaning of the Ransom blood of Jesus, which is, the salvation of the world from Adamic death. When Adam knowingly disobeyed God, he was justly sentenced to death. However, this death sentence was passed on to his descendants (along with the tendency to sin, which is a byproduct of a dying, imperfect body and mind, causing both the inability to fully rationalize one’s behavior, and to reverse its natural tendency toward evil). So the world is corrupt, not of its own volition, but on account of heredity. However, God having provided a perfect ransom price to rescue both Adam and his entire race from the eternal death sentence justly enacted on father Adam. He sent the perfect man, Jesus, to die on account of the perfect man, Adam, thereby releasing Adam (and all those who came to life through him, including Eve, who came from his rib) from the sentence of death. The Millennial reign of Jesus Christ will be established for the purpose of resurrecting the unsaved world of mankind, and bringing those who desire it, into a spiritual upright, morally perfect condition. The 7th Day church does not recognize the full import of Jesus’ sacrifice (Romans 6:23; John 3:16; 1 John 2:2; 1 Timothy 2:5; Romans 5:14-19).
I noticed that this church also teaches tithing, a practice of the Old Testament, which ministers incorrectly claim is meant for those in the New Testament church as well (in order to enrich themselves and their ambitions through the labors of the members of their flock). However, because Christians are servants of God, all that they have belongs to Him. Tithing is gone, but giving (even to 100%) of what they own, is to be done as the spirit of the Lord leads them.
Another Old Testament practice within this church, is notably, the keeping of the seventh day (Sabbath). However, the obligation to keep the sabbath was like all other Old Testament observances, which were instituted in order to instill in the minds of God’s people a picture of something much grander to occur at a later date. In this case, it was the 7th day, the day following the 6th day (that is, our present day, when sin and death reigns on the earth). Again referencing this church’s beliefs from their web site, it states that the Sabbath was a foretaste of our eternal future in God’s kingdom. This is incorrect. It does not picture OUR future in God’s Kingdom whatsoever. It pictures the 7th day, at the end of the Millennial Kingdom (the day of the Lord), after sickness, death, and evil shall be destroyed from the face of the earth. It pictures the deliverance of the world of mankind from the heavy burden of sin and death. God’s Kingdom is made up of two parts, heavenly (of perfect spirit beings) and earthly (of the perfected human family). The heavenly phase is pictured as “the stars of the sky” (consisting of the overcoming saints of God- that is, Christians who make their calling and election sure) while the earthly phase is referred to as “the sands of the seashore” (Genesis 22:17), those of mankind, who having been resurrected and responded favorably to the blessings of Christ’s Kingdom, and perfection, mentally, morally, and physically. It is the fulfillment of the Lord’s prayer, “thy kingdom come, ON EARTH, as it is done IN HEAVEN” (Matthew 6:10). Finally, in regards to the keeping of the sabbath, the Apostle Paul summed it up perfectly when he said (Romans 14:5) that some men esteem one day above another, while others esteem each day as the same. If a man wants to keep the Sabbath, it is permissible, however, it is not to be imposed on anyone, and its observance must not diminish the keeping of every other day as a day free from doing our own will. In the mind of a Christian, verses that of the legalist living under the Law, is that every day is to be observed as though being the Lord’s Sabbath, where God’s will in our lives and hearts is all that matters.
I believe that enough time has been spent on dispelling the erroneous idea that the 7th Day Church is anything but another part of mystic Babylon, which shall be destroyed at the end of this age (Revelation 17 & 18).
