God Is Love

Is God love? Well of course He is. He is the epitome of love. His love is the only real, true, pure love there is. His love is so absolutely perfect it is beyond any human reasoning. Is there any type of love found among mankind that could compare with the love of God? Not really.
What about the love of a husband and wife? Which husband and wife? The divorce rate is nearly 50%. Even in the best of marriages, as strong as that love is, it still doesn’t compare to the love of God.
Perhaps the love of a parent for their child would qualify? Nope. As much as we love our children, God’s love is stronger by far.
For most of us, it is hard to imagine the kind of love that comes from the very essence of God. Actually, it’s impossible in this life.
On the other hand, many feel God is not a God of love since there is so much pain and suffering in our world. “If God really cared, He would do something about it” they say. Therefore, according to them, God is not love. What they don’t realize though, “God has done something about it.”
Whether we feel that God is love or He is not, is it possible we do not understand that God’s justice and His love work together?
Some see God as a white-haired senile old man who overlooks our “faults” and welcomes all into His Heavenly residence with a big smile and a kiss. It doesn’t matter how we live. We make the rules. He’ll dress us all in white, slip on our angel wings, and have a nice comfy cloud ready for us to lie on while we pluck on our harp throughout eternity.
And then there are those who see God as an angry tyrant in some kind of war with evil yet too weak to do much about it. So we all suffer because He doesn’t care enough to keep the boogey man away from our door. Crap happens in our life and it’s His fault. So they say.
I can still hear George Beverly Shea of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association singing the great old song “The Love of God” which was written by F. M. Lehman. The first verse and chorus go like this:
The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell; It goes beyond the highest star, and reaches to the lowest hell. The guilty pair, bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win; His erring child He reconciled, And pardoned from his sin.
CHORUS:
O love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure – The saints’ and angels’ song.
God does care and has shown His love to us in the sacrifice of His only begotten Son for the forgiveness of our sins. He has provided eternal life to any who will come to Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
However, He has made it clear that no one comes to Him but through His Son Jesus.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
We have made a mess of this world, not God. It wasn’t God who listened to Satan via the serpent and sinned. We, through our original parents Adam and Eve, sinned and separated ourselves from God. We cannot be in God’s presence with “dirty hands.” We must be absolutely pure, as He is pure. Justice requires payment. So to satisfy God’s justice He paid the debt of our sin and satisfied His own justice. That is love. And yes again, God is love.
Here’s the problem most people make for themselves. They don’t want to accept God’s way of salvation. There is only one way for us to be reconciled to God. In other words, there is only one way to get to Heaven; i.e. God’s way. God’s way is through His Son, but most people ignore that and think they have a better way. Jesus said,
“…I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If you had known me, ye should have known my Father also, and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.” John 14:6-7
If we have been saved by the blood of Jesus, we will go to Heaven, but it is because of God’s work and God’s grace. There is absolutely, positively nothing we have done to earn it. If we want to be saved and go to Heaven, the same conditions apply.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God – not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
Most people see God’s love, but ignore His justice. They think they can live anyway they please, and still go to Heaven. They are convinced they can live like hell and go to Heaven.
“But Wait!” You say. “Now you’re saying works save us!” No I’m not. I’m saying that our works are sending us to hell unless we accept God’s gracious offer of eternal life through His Son.
Sin requires a payday, and hell is the paycheck. There are no amount of works we can do that will make us righteous enough to qualify entering Heaven.
“Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.” Isaiah 6:5
“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Isaiah 64:6
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
Romans 3:10-18
So why is it that so many people think that regardless of how they react toward God’s offer of eternal life, they’re going to Heaven when they die? They can disregard the offer, but God will make an exception since He is love, so they think.
Once we die there are no second chances. That’s it. God says:
“… I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2
In His great love for us, He provided the only way for us to be with Him for eternity, but the provision has been made based on the works of His Son Jesus, not ours. Our works will condemn us. Only Jesus’ works will save us.
It is a common cliché today for people to brush off their date with life after death by saying something like, “God is love. He would never send anyone to hell.”
Well, God is love, and in His love He provided the only way we can escape the same judgment assigned to Satan. Through Jesus we can live for all eternity in Heaven. However, if we refuse God’s plan of saving us through His Son, there is nothing else He can do. We have then chosen, all on our own, to accept the same judgment that will be meted out to Satan which is eternal damnation without God, in the lake of fire.
Yes, God is love, and He loves each and every one of us, but He is not going to ignore His justice just because we say we don’t like His plan. God’s plan is the only plan. We are all free to accept it or deny it, but if we deny it, don’t blame God for the judgment that will surely come. He has made every effort to save all who will come to Him through His Son. If I may make it very clear, those who rest all their faith in Jesus Christ will live with Him for eternity in Heaven. Those who do not will be judged by Him and assigned to the lake of fire for eternity.
Let us not think we can live apart from Jesus now, but live forever with Him in Heaven when we die. It won’t happen.

Christians are busy worshiping everything under the sun, everything but Jesus that is. They are in love with their clothes, their cars, their TVs, their movies and television programming that is filled with violence and perversion.
The Lord is coming to wreak havoc on the churches and throw them out of His face. Times of great horror and terror are upon the world such as none can imagine. Christians who have been brainwashed with the lukewarm doctrines are in very deep trouble!

God is love. He is merciful and just. But a pre-trib “rapture” is not part of His Divine Plan. So will you kindly stop preaching such nonsense.
The scripture isn’t clear on WHEN the rapture will be. If you’re so certain of His divine plan, then kindly prove it from scripture

Decapitate Them!

Those who worshipped other gods must die, and even more horribly, their heads displayed publicly. Either God never said anything so cruel, or we truly live in a cursed universe, ruled by a maniac Supreme Being.
Millions of people, today, switch their religions. If God had any interest in this ongoing process, there appears no evidence of this.
God Buries Them Alive

Moses relays a sadistic threat that asks us to believe that God punishes members of families, including innocent infants. And again we have the Satanic fire coming from God burning his creations.
God Kills The Firstborns!
“And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.” (Exodus 12:29-30)

If we believe every word in the Bible as coming from God, then it stands to reason that the violent actions from the God described in Exodus cannot give us a moral comparison to live our lives in a peaceful world.
If one wishes to believe that God possess love for His creations, then the killing of innocent children cannot possibly come from God, and therefore, these verses from the Bible must have come elsewhere. But note that if one takes the Bible’s words as absolute truth, then not only did God smote the firstborn children, but all firstborn regardless of age. This means all firstborn teenagers, firstborn men & women, firstborn octogenarians, and even all firstborn cows and bulls. Regardless of how much love, charity, or goodness they may have imparted to the world, if they had the unfortunate luck to have first passed through their mother’s vagina in the land of Egypt, according to the Bible, God killed them!
God Sends Pestilence
“Either three years’ famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel…” (I Chronicles 21:12)
“So the LORD sent pestilence upon Israel: and there fell of Israel seventy thousand men.” (I Chronicles 21:14)

David made an offense against God in taking a census of the people, so God gave David a choice. Oddly enough, David ignores God and never actually gets around to making a choice; so the Lord makes the decision for him and sends pestilence upon Israel.
It appears unclear as to why David committed a crime, but why shouldn’t God have punished individual offenders instead of killing an army of innocent bystanders? Atrocities such as this appear outrageous enough when perpetrated by Attila the Hun, Hitler or Pol Pot, but when it comes from a, supposedly, loving God, it should make one wonder if this represents a Devil instead of a God.
God Slaughters Blacks
“And there came out against them Zerah the Ethiopian with an host of a thousand thousand, and three hundred chariots…” (II Chronicles 14:9)
So the LORD smote the Ethiopians before Asa, and before Judah; and the Ethiopians fled. (II Chronicles 14:12)

It appears that Black Christian Bible studies programs ignore these verses, for it says that the Lord God slaughtered over a million blacks.
The association of black with evil goes far back in Western Christian culture. The early Church fathers, Origen, Jerome, and Augustine of Hippo wrote about devils appearing as Ethiopians.
White racist groups (such as the Ku Klux Klan who think of themselves as opposite of black devils) see these Biblical verses as evidence to justify their beliefs. We still hear phrases such as “Prince of Darkness” or “Black magic” which link blackness with sin.
In the story of Ham and Japheth, the word “ham” has connotations of “hot” and “dark” in Semitic languages. To the ancient Israelites, as well as some modern Jews and Christians, the “children of Ham” had dark skin and lived in eastern Africa. Thus they see the “Curse of Ham” as a link with black skin and sexual license.
God’s Threat To Kill
“And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.” (Exodus 11:4-5)

After reading such verses, it would become apparent, even to a child, that this does not describe the actions of a loving Being. Anyone who reconciles the killing of innocent children with an intelligent and loving Creator can only come from great ignorance under the addiction of blind faith.
Godly Mass Murder
“And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.” (I Samuel 6:19)

Here we have just one more instance of God performing mass murder, a sadistic killer far worse than Hitler, Attila the Hun or Pol Pot.
These verses should insult the intelligence of any person who thinks that God possesses a loving nature.
One should not dismiss the Old Testament’s repeated demand for the vilest atrocities as something peculiar to the early Hebrews. Even today, our most atrocious wars, terrorism and hate crimes occur around the world based on ancient religious beliefs, many of them coming directly from verses in the Old and New Testament
Kill All Unbelievers
“And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God…” (Deuteronomy 13: 5)
“If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;” (Deuteronomy 13: 6)
“Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.” (Deuteronomy 13:8-9)
“Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.” (Deuteronomy 13:15)

These severe laws commanded the members of the Hebrew religion to murder even their own children if they did not worship Yahweh (God).
These Bible words can justify, to a fanatical fundamentalist believer, the killing of friends or family simply because they may fail to change their beliefs.
Why anyone today would accept these words, much less allow them to exist in a sacred book goes against the nature of any tolerant and loving people.
Kill Man, Woman, Infant
“Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.” (I Samuel 15:2-3)

No matter how one can justify possible crimes from adults, suckling infants have no means of acting out crimes. And what evil against God could the animals have possibly performed? Only an evil entity could kill innocent infants and animals, no matter what their parents and owners may have done.
Moses’ Mass Murder
“Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD. Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.” (Numbers 31:16-18)

Moses commands the murder of approximately 100,000 young males and, roughly, 68,000 helpless women.
Consider women and children of your own family: No matter how sick they may lay, or how they may go against a religion, how would you feel if a man named Moses, claiming to speak for God, sent men into your house and hacked to pieces the women and male children? Also, how would you react if they spotted a female child, dragged her off with them to do as they please with her? Note that these innocent virgins served for their own sexual pleasures.
Midian, the land of the Midianites, did not reside in an area regarded as a natural enemy of Israel for centuries, and in fact lay hundreds of miles away from the Israelite encampment. Moses, himself, had lived in Midian as fugitive after committing his first murder. In short, Midian presented no threat to God’s “Chosen People.”
And so many more. If you beleive the Bible god is the god of love you surly need some mental help. He is clearly a War god.
You clearly have no idea of what ‘love’ means. To much Hollywood luvvy duvvy sentimental crap has addled your pathetic processed food brain.
All the peoples you have mentioned above were offering their first born children in the fire to their god Molech, not to mention sexual perversions galore as the norm in their society and with all the STD’s that go with that.
But keep up the self-righteous wretched liberal hand wringing – it suits you.
