The 1290 and 1335 days have already been fulfilled!

History happening precisely as it has and fitting the time frames of

1290 and 1335 prophetic days defies all odds!

“But false prophets were also among the people, (unsaved people of the world) as also false teachers will be among you (saved, saints within the church), who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, and denying the Master who has bought them, bringing swift destruction on themselves.” II Peter 2:1

Matthew 24:15 – There is a need to ‘Understanding’ Verse 15 as it leds to understanding the 1290 and 1335 days of Daniel.

First, how did Jesus begin that day that led to verse 15 -

Luke 21:37 “And in the day he was teaching in the temple: and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.”

Matthew 24:3 “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?”

Here, now in private, Jesus lays out to his disciples an overview, a tapestry if you will of those signs and things to come and what leads up to the end. 

Matthew 24:4-8 “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.”

This is an overview or a tapestry of the Christian era. History confirms we have seen and heard of wars and rumors of wars; likewise we have seen nations and kingdoms rise against one another as well as famines, pestilences and earthquakes in divers places throughout the past 1,900 years verifying these things as the signs Jesus foretold.

To date the worse famines have and still do occur, the ‘black plaque’ of Europe was the worst ever of pestilences and the events of Fukushima could be the most catastrophic of all as radiation poisoning was not a term the Biblical writers would have known to use.

As for earthquakes, the worst earthquakes ever recorded (Chile, Alaska) have already happened. Interesting note, the geological term “volcano” was yet a geological term and would not have been possible to use as a reference; that said, it is possible there is more significance to earthquakes as they are predecessors (triggers) to volcanoes.  (Why no mention in all of Matthew 24 of an astroid?)

To the point – We are asked to understand what Daniel the prophet said about the abomination of desolation: v15 “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

This is the verse GOD wanted us to understand, Daniel 12:11 says: “And from the time the continual sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that desolates set up, there shall be a thousand, two hundred and ninety days.” Hebraic Roots Bible gives us a conclusive interpretation with the word ‘continual’.

The abomination of desolation is a thing that we can expect to see “set up”, “placed” (as said in the Torah) and stand(s) in. Jesus calls the location: the holy place, Jerusalem. Daniel specifically makes reference to the abomination of desolation as being the place where continual sacrifices were taken away, the temple mount. Daniel is specifying “one time” in history that we would later identify conclusively; all other times thereafter are can no longer be considered “continual” they have been interrupted.

It’s important to note, this cannot be the abomination of desolation of Mid-Testament times. Jesus is referencing a future A of D. The temple destruction of 70AD left the temple mount unrecognizable so that too cannot be the A of D. Jesus said: “…there should not be left here one stone upon another…” so nothing was left “set up”, “placed” or to be “standing in”.

This is the Temple mount; clearly Jesus was specifically referencing Daniel 12:11!

Verifying the following mathematical equation: Take away + 1290 = Set up

Revealing “the time” when the continual sacrifices were taken away. In doing so we will have 2 parts of the equation to tell the time when the abomination of desolation is set up. Then we’ll correctly interpret the 1290 prophetic days, verify it and do the math.

FIRST - Telling the time when the daily sacrifices are taken away and Jesus knew!

The date when sacrifices were abolished is recorded in the Bible! Jesus already knew that! As told in the book of Jeremiah the Babylonian captivity began with the fall of Jerusalem and God’s people lead away to Babylon. It was the first year of King Nebuchadrezzar (606B.C.) and he took Jewish captives back to Babylon and did so on four separate occasions. The first captivity was in 606B.C. The second was 596, third 587 at which time Nebuchadrezzar destroyed the Temple of Solomon. So:

 “In the twenty-third year of Nebuchadrezzar, Nebazaradan, the captain of the guard, carried into exile 745 Jewish people.” Jeremiah 52:30. This Final Captivity was in 583B.C. 23 years after 606B.C.

In 587B.C. the temple was destroyed and it was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar, II Kings 25:8. But it did not prevent the continuation of the offering of sacrifices. We learn in Jeremiah 41:5 of a group of 80 men described as having their breads shaven, and their clothes rent, and having cut themselves with offerings and incense in their hands to bring them to the house of the Lord. This is before the final captivity of the 745 and it could not have been hidden from Daniel, he was the ruler of the Babylonian province and most likely in the king’s court on a daily bases…Daniel would have been aware that the final captivity would have included the 80 men who according to Jeremiah 41:5 were still capable of offering sacrifices up to 583B.C. Again, Jesus knew, this can not be ignored!

It was the final captivity of the Jews and the 23rd year of Nebuchadnezzar’s reign was 583 B.C. Daniel now tells us:

Daniel 12:11 ” And from the time the continual sacrifice shall be taken away, (583bc) and the abomination that desolates set up, there shall be a thousand, two hundred and ninety days.” HRB

SECOND - Revealing the time when the abomination of desolation is set up.

Since Daniel knew when the daily (continual) sacrifices ended, he would also know that 1,290 days thereafter, nothing happened! As these are Gods Words, Daniel would have written as he was told. He would have written “days” totally aware of what Moses had written in Numbers and most likely what his contemporary Ezekiel had also written.

Numbers 14:34 “After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.”

Ezekiel 4:5 “For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.”

Ezekiel 4:6 “And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.”

“I have appointed thee each day for a year.” This is a commandment from GOD! It also should be noted that throughout the rest of the Bible GOD never nullifies it. This cannot be ignored; scriptural interpretation cannot be changed to fit one’s doctrine!

Critical to understanding this scripture: When history is recorded in the modern era; all BC years have been calculated back in time, in solar years. In Daniel’s time there was only the Hebrew calendar, no solar calendar existed. A solar year is 365.24 days; a Hebrew year is 360 days *. The Hebrew year needs converting to the solar year.

* Why 360 days* and not 354 days

From I Maccabees and the book of Jubilees (both circa 150BC), the Jews of inter-testament times considered a year to have 12 months of 30 days each. The Babylonians also had a year of 360 days.  Then in Genesis 7:11, 7:24, 8:4 we see 150 days were five months, 150 divided by 5 = 30, for a 30-day month. This is the basis for the 360-day year, a concept accepted by many conservative theologians. 

By being two completely different measuring systems of days, to accurately render the correct number when adding them up, we need to establish a multiplier. This multiplier is the result of dividing the number of days in a Hebrew year by the number of days in a solar year. This number will represent a single converted “day”.

We take this converted day and now multiply it by Daniel’s 1290 Hebrew days, which we have established as years. This calculation will render the correct number of solar years wherein are history is recorded. This will then enable us to correctly add solar years to solar years. The math: 360 days* divided by 365.24 days = 0.9856, one converted day.

Now, applying the math: 1290 x 0.9856 = 1271.422 or rounded off to 1271. We have already determined 583bc as a solar year date, now we can add 1,271, which are the converted and now solar years to determine the precise, accurate and correct results.

These are the prophetic days and times from 583bc as referenced by Daniel 12:11. 1271 years for the 1290 days/years.        

-583bc + 1271 = 688ad

THIRD – Identifying beyond any doubt what is the Abomination of Desolation?

Islam’s, the Dome of the Rock “stand(s) in” and was “set up” on the “temple mount”; in the Court of the Gentiles.  The Dome of the Rock blasphemes God’s name by changing Yahweh, or the “I AM”, to Allah The founding inscription and mosaic writing that encompass the building both inside and out have blasphemed God the Most High, with the repeated theme that God has no son. For over 1300 years this symbol has stood representing antichrist Islam. This is specifically “that spirit of “antichrist”. Today, Islam is in the center of the subject of the “end of the world”, the description of which according to Jesus, began the coming of “the end”. 

Islam has been at war against the non-Islamic world, and has butchered Christians, Jews as well as many othersfrom Mohammed’s day unto to day The Dome of the Rock was “set up”, near where the temple was torn down in the temple’s “Court of the Gentiles” and it is without doubt an abomination unto God.

The parallel verse in Mark embellishes on “WHERE” The Temple Mount is

Mark 13:14 “But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,”) (it’s an it!)

The parallel verse in Luke is about “WHEN”:  A time shortly after 639AD

Luke 21:20 “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh…”

In 639AD, after the four-month siege of Jerusalem, (compassed with armies) the Muslims finally entered the city peacefully following the signing of a treaty by the Patriarch Sophronius (i.e. Jerusalem) and Umar himself. As the Patriach had announced that he would not sign a treaty with anyone other than the Caliph himself. For this reason, ‘Umar personally came to Jerusalem after the Muslims had established control of all the surrounding territory.

Luke 21:20 goes on to say: “…then know that the desolation thereof is nigh,”

With the Abomination of Desolation firmly established as the “Dome of the Rock”. The words of Jesus Christ literally come to life. Jesus specifically describes the armies as surrounding Jerusalem and history records that is precisely what happened. The desolation was in 688AD only 50 years later and certainly in the realm of prophetic time that is considered “nigh” or near.

This is not some hunch or concocted formula; these are mathematical equations that fit in the timeline of history perfectly. These are historic facts, it’s hard to argue the precise accuracy when it is applied. Yet, there are more, creating even greater odds of being a coincidence much less wrong!

The next verse, 16, has a match in the Book of Revelation. In fact, there are two verses in Revelation that relate precisely with the events of 688ad; thus giving more credibility to this interpretation and solidifying it as the most likely true message of Jesus, being, this is what he wanted the reader to understand. The second one we’ll get to later.

Matthew 24:16 “Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:” Israel is “them.” When the Dome of the Rock was built, the Muslims took over the holy city. Already in control of the territories, Jews and Christians had no choice but to flee for life.

Establishing 688AD as the time of the abomination of desolation gives us a set point in time. Jesus said in verse15 “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation…” in verse 16, Jesus says, “Then let them…” thus giving us again, this date in time. Note: “When” – at the time this happens – “then” represents a point in time.

Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days. Once again we have prophetic days, 1260.

John describes, “flee” as “fled” and into the “mountains as wilderness”. He also identifies Israel, “them” in Matthew, as the “woman” in Revelation.

Matthew 24:16 is an exact match for Revelation 12:6. The fleeing from Israel to avoid persecution began around 688AD as the Muslims moved in to the Holy city to build the dome of the rock. The fleeing continued on as they fled into the wilderness/mountains until Israel was established as a nation and they returned. This happened in 1948.

John was living in the late 1^st century. His original text was either Aramaic or Greek and by that time in the Roman era, the calendar was in solar years, no conversion necessary. The math: 688AD + 1260 (yrs) = 1948AD.  Israel = “them” and the “woman” returned.

Matthew 24:17-20 “Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:”

Those that had to flee would suffer the bitter cold of winters and they would not flee on a Sabbath day and then much worse yet for those that are with child and pregnant. Even beyond Judea these instructions would aptly apply to all of the fallen cities and states where Christians and Jews were martyred as well as slaughtered and enslaved by Muslims. A most frightening time as the first Jihad nearly conquered the whole world, until stopped in Tours, France by Charles Martel in the Battle of Tours 732AD.

To understand the importance of this battle to Christianity and our faith, consider the following from: New World Encyclopedia on the Battle of Tours:

John H. Haaren says in “Famous Men of the Middle Ages”: ”The battle of Tours, or Poitiers, as it should be called, is regarded as one of the decisive battles of the world. It decided that Christians, and not Moslems, should be the ruling power in Europe. Charles Martel is especially celebrated as the hero of this battle.”

John Bagnell Bury: “The Battle of Tours… has often been represented as an event of the first magnitude for the world’s history, because after this, the penetration of Islam into Europe was finally brought to a standstill.”

Professor of religion Huston Smith says in The World’s Religions: Our Great Wisdom Traditions: “But for their defeat by Charles Martel in the Battle of Tours in 732, the entire Western world might today be Muslim.”

Just how important is this to Christianity? Imagine no Christianity at all! None! This is the most critical event in Christian history, as our survival now appears to have depended upon it. In order for what follows here to make sense, history had to happen just as it did.

In review of Daniel 12:11 now add v12 to see what GOD wanted us to understand.

Daniel 12:11, 12; (11) “And from the time (583bc) the continual sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that desolates set up, (688ad) there shall be a thousand, two hundred and ninety days. (12) Blessed is he who waits and reaches to the thousand, three hundred and thirty five days.” (732ad) HRB

Daniel 12:12 mentions after the 1290 days an additional 45 days: “Blessed is he that waiteth and comes to the 1335 days.” 1335 converts to 1315 (days=years). It would have been “Blessed” to those that lived to see the first Jihad stopped from world conquest who had also been devastated having seen and fled the “abomination of desolation” in 688AD. 

The math: -583BC + 1315 = 732AD.

This is the power of Almighty God fulfilling prophecy before our eyes!
