Sure, people have been saying that they are in the “end times” for ages now, saying that “Jesus is coming soon”. Seriously these Jesus freaks keep on saying the same thing and nothing ever really happens. In fact, it is such an old “war cry” that you have tuned it out which in turn has hardened your heart to the warnings. But our time truly is limited. Please just take a quick glance at the mainstream headlines and put the pieces together. There is no denying the signs; the “labor pain” symptoms any longer.
If you are scoffing at the warnings, guess what? You are fulfilling prophecy and you are only hurting yourself and any of those who may be listening to you. Check it out, I’m not putting you on: 2 Peter 3:3,4 and also in Jude 1:18,19 both are in the New Testament. Get saved; you are going to need His protection. More importantly, you will definitely need your salvation for all of eternity. I don’t know you, but I certainly care about you and your eternity. This is not a gimmick; the only thing I gain from you trusting God is another brother or sister in the Lord.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Please remove any deception that I may have listened to or embraced. Because I am not perfect, I am a sinner that needs forgiveness and I ask You to forgive me. I believe You are Savior and Lord Who shed Your Blood and died for my sins to be forgiven, and rose from the dead; You live forever. I want to turn from (repent) my sins. I invite You Jesus Christ of Nazareth to come into my heart and life as Savior and Lord. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and personal Savior. In the all powerful Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I pray. Amen.

It opens with a question: Have the rules of conduct changed for Christians to blend-in with the non-believers? What JVI and his wife have to do with that question – I guess I am missing.
As for Christian behavior – Jesus, Paul, Peter, John and James are clear about behavior and changing it is not an option.
Changing the meaning of The Word is not and never has been an option: “In the beginning was the Word…and the Word was God.” John 1:1; “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Heb. 13:8; “…and his (Jesus) name is called The Word of God.” Revelation 19:13b. By definition the Word as God, remains the same forever!
Romans 12:1, 2: “I BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye … be not conformed to this world…”
This is past tense; Paul acknowledges we are already in conformity; we’re conformed to this world! Why so important? The world belongs to Satan! It’s his world. Remember reading Matthew 4? Jesus was fasting in the wilderness when Satan took him to the highest peak – whose world was it? Satan said: “All these things will I give thee…” ‘All these’ things – meant: ‘every’ thing in the world belonged to Satan, it was his world and folks, it still is!
Paul in Romans 12 is repeating the message of Jesus; just as Jesus told the young man who was still conformed to this world to surrender his past lifestyle, possessions and then follow Him! Paul is telling us we must walk away from the conformity already in our life! Most importantly we must also understand, in doing so publically show’s God and all entities in the spiritual world that we are saved and the spiritual world sees it in our ‘new’ behavior.
Remember, Jesus has said more than once: “I am not of this world” (John 8:23; 17:14 & 16) and with our conversion, nor are we anymore! It’s Satan’s world! Jesus and Paul have taught us that “All” Christians would suffer (take up his cross). This ‘suffering’ in your life includes the enacting of the separation from this world! We no longer should be worldly-minded and minding earthly things, we must be striving for a life of trust and obedience to God.
spot on Jack, we are not of this world, these so called Christians who live like this, will deffinatly not like to hear this type of preaching, but they need to hear it, because there is a hell. They are still around? I never thought his wife was attractive at all. I think some of his prophecies were not accurate if I recall.
He sent out a booklet years ago and pamplets, etc.

Shame there is no such thing as Christians, not a single person practices the 8 essential criteria to qualify for heaven as preached by Jesus. Two of which involve selling everything you own, giving the proceeds to the poor, and following Jesus as a disciple. I don’t know of a single person who practices what Jesus preached to live in absolute poverty who trusts their ‘deity’ to provide… do you?
Maybe a few traditional Buddhists practice what Jesus preached, nobody else.
