What was the role that Holy Virgin Mary played at the Wedding at Cana?
Every work of God has an appointed time fixed by His infinite Wisdom. His Works will not and should not take place before or after this appointed time (Ecc. 3:1, Sir. 35:15-17). It is Satan who instigates man to do the works that God has entrusted to them before or after the appointed time.
Jesus Christ spent his public life in order to be engaged in the Works of God. But for each act that the Son must do on this earth, the Father has fixed a time. Jesus Christ declared that it was to fulfill the works of God that he stayed back in the Temple at the age of 12. But, obeying his Mother, he went back home. We do not see him leaving his home to engage in the Works of God – to give the Words of God the Father to the people and to do the works of the Kingdom of God – for the next 18 years. Why did he not come out next day or next month or even next year to be engaged in the Works of God?
Even after his Baptism and 40 days of prayer and fasting, at the wedding at Cana he said that his time had not come. In other words, he refused to say or do anything. In spite of this, why did Holy Mother tell him that the host’s family had no wine? Jesus Christ had not performed any miracle until then. Then why did Holy Mother tell those who are present to do as her Son would tell them?
Was She taking the role of a mediator in front of her Son despite it not being his time, as many Christian theologians teach? If that were the case, it could be seen as a work of Satan, because it is he who instigates the Son of God to fulfill what has been written about him before the appointed time. The Son of God will not and cannot do anything before the time appointed by His Father. It was Satan who tempted Jesus Christ, who had just finished his 40 days fast, to turn stone into bread and to jump from the top of the Temple. Though Jesus Christ was born to be King, the mission that God had entrusted to him in his First Coming was to die for the people of God to atone for their sins. So when the people were about to make him their King by force before the appointed time (He comes as King of kings in his Second coming), he withdrew to the mountain by himself (John 6:14-15).
However, God the Father is not foolish or powerless to send to this earth His only Begotten Son, for whom people had been waiting for ages, through a person (Holy Virgin Mary) who is under the spell of Satan. Besides, Holy Mother received the Eternal Word into her womb and through her faith gave birth to him without her virginity being violated. This can never be a person who follows the will of Satan. What is more, we have already seen that the Son obeyed his Mother when she did not allow him to engage in the Works of God at the age of 12. He is not weak enough to obey Satan. Instead, he declared that whatever he said and did were as per the Command of his Father (John 12:49-50).
Why did Jesus Christ, who at first refused to do anything at the wedding at Cana, perform his first act of the Kingdom of God when his Mother asked the people gathered there to do as he commands? How is that his time that had not come till then in fact came a minute later? What happened there that inspired Jesus Christ to turn water into wine and how was his act justified in relation to the time appointed by God?

Calling all WOUNDED SOULS… I too am a devout believer in God, the Holy Spirit & Jesus Christ… and former wounded soul… now healed. But I am no longer a fan of organized, corrupt religions, churches or religious organizations that like TO PUT A LOT OF WRONG WORDS & THOUGHTS (NOT OF GOD) IN GOOD FOLKS MINDS.
It’s true, Mary was an honorable, faithful vigin and a servant of God to bear his son Jesus Christ… she was and still remains “HUMAN” though… there is nothing MORE or LESS HOLY about Mary than any other of God’s servants. She’s not a god or deified character… just a wonderfully, humble servant tasked with raising God’s Son in human in flesh.
JESUS IS HOLY. JESUS IS GOD’S SON. JESUS KNOWS HOW TO GET BACK TO HEAVEN… Mary does not. Jesus is the way, the truth and the light/life. No man sees God but through Christ… Not Mary.
Sacrilege… really? This religious myth about Mary is nothing but more religious nonsense made up by men to control your thoughts & distract you from the real Savior/Saver here… that’s Jesus Christ… God’s Son. Mary was a wonderful, faithful, loving soul who loved God enough to carry out the greatest rescue plan in History bearing Jesus through her body to avoid detection and slip in to this satanic world “under the radar” so to speak.
So, say what you want… but your religious traditions, comments, opinions and teachings don’t override what God’s Word says… MARY is nobody’s savior or intermediatory to God… that puts Mary on the same footing as a “god.” And she is not… don’t yell at me… read God’s Word for yourself…stop listening to corrupt priests, pastors and church leadership. Use the brains God gave you… and yes, there are many more religious deceptions you will start throwing off so you can get closer to your Creator & his Son… but you gotta start somewhere.
Most, (but not all) , churches NO LONGER represent God your Creator anymore… or Jesus Christ. It is time to walk away from them and read your Bible starting in the New Testament book of Matthew, John 3:16 and read thru Revelations for yourself. Church leaderships are now more worried about the weekly $$ offerings; building programs; keeping everybody dumb, happy & content on going to Hell so they drain their pocketbooks into the church coffers. THIS IS ((( NOT ))) GOD’S WAY!!!
I am sickened by such insidious leadership… these folks will be held accountable for condemning, harming and destroying so many souls who trusted them to point the WAY to the one on the Throne in Heaven… but pointed them to Hell instead by souring them on God insteading of building a relationship with him. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE… SO DOES GOD… YOU CANNOT HIDE… WOUNDED SOULS WILL BE VINDICATED…

Mary was made an arch for the new covenant. Only that which is made Holy can touch the Holy of Holies. This does not make her a god, but is the First Christian to witness the works of the Trinity. Something we all need to ponder and follow as an example. “Do as he tells you,” has always been her guiding hand in salvation history.

This article doesn’t said Holy Mother Mary is a mediator. And no doubt Emmanuel (Jesus Christ) is the only Savior, the only Way, Truth & Light. Who is Emmanuel ? He is the manifested WORD of GOD. (John 1:14).
If Mary is just a Human being and Emmanuel(JC), Son Of GOD, was born from a normal woman, then give an answer to this, “Who is greater Jesus Christ or John the Baptist ?”.
Emmanuel is the Word of GOD, then answer this, to whom He came First..?
You skipped away from the thoughts mentioned in the articles…. if Emmanuel’s hour has not yet come then why did he performed a miracle obeying His Mother? If that is not the time fixed by GOD the Father, then what Emmanuel(JC) did is evil….!!
