Spiritual Warfare: The Transhumanist Manifesto

Tyler Durden in Fight Club: “I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don’t need. We’re the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War’s a spiritual war… our Great Depression is our lives. We’ve all been raised on television to believe that one day we’d all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won’t. And we’re slowly learning that fact. And we’re very, very pissed off.”

The control of institutions lies with some of the world’s most powerful and least visible men; strategically placed officials who are able to shift billions, if not trillions, of dollars and alter the course of economies at the stroke of a pen. Those who control the credit of a nation direct the policy of governments and hold in their hands the destiny of the people. After the National Banking Act of 1863, President Lincoln stated shortly before his assassination that, “The money power preys upon the nation in times of peace and conspires against it in times of adversity. I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. Corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in high places will follow [Ephesians 6:12], and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the public is destroyed.” Our government, political system, and criminal justice system is operating under another form of government; a bureaucratic elite that believes our Constitution is outdated. This becomes most evident when you understand the history and policies behind the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) which was established in 1913 under the Federal Reserve Act. This bank is not Federal as its name deceptively indicates, nor is it owned by the government. The sad truth of the matter is that it is privately owned. The government does not own one dollar of stock in the FRB and not a dollar can be put into circulation among the people by their governments without the consent of and on terms fixed by the twelve private money trusts who oversee its daily operation. Here is a stated conclusion released by the Committee on Banking: “In summary, the Federal Reserve directors are apparently representatives of a small elite group which dominates much of the economic life of this nation.” In 1996, the Rothschild’s owned 53% of the stock, not in consideration of the fact that they financed the Rockefellers who, along with their associates, accounted for much of the remaining stock and control every facet of the information industry from television to public education. 

So the tremendous amount of surplus from American securities manipulated by J.P. Morgan – financed by the Rockefellers – is actually owned by their true employer, Rothschild.  Dr. James Wardner (1996) humorously stated, “J.P. Morgan has been the front for the silent Rothschild family to literally rape America… Perhaps the greatest proof of all that the Rothschilds have controlled the American economy via the FRB is that the very legislation used to promulgate this private central bank was modeled on their previous acquisitions: The Reichsbank, the Bank of England, and the Bank of France (among many others)”. Thus, the central banks of not only America, but also England, France, Germany, and Italy are privately owned and Rothschild controlled. Essentially, the FRB system is nothing more than a group of private investors from an incredibly narrow board of directors; only two segments of American society – banking and big business – have any substantial representation. These officials have the power to charge interest on money that has never existed, and the Federal Reserve System, which receives the interest, is allowed to set the rate of interest they receive. The U.S. Constitution states in Article 1, Section 8 that: ‘The Congress shall have the power to coin money and regulate the value thereof.’ So, what the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 did was give these banking interests the power to use the assets of America to buy up foreign debts. The foreign bonds of the Federal purchases are then bought back with paper money created from our own debt. Then, they turn around and use the newly purchased foreign bonds as collateral to print up more Federal Reserve notes. The American government, without getting anything whatsoever in return, gives the Federal Reserve notes to private bankers for them to loan out at interest, even back to the government itself. Simply put, before a dollar can circulate, a debt must be created. Therefore, the Federal Reserve Banking System is a temporary system that will suck the economy dry for everything that it is worth until the citizens become aware of the fact that we will never be able to repay these loans. Ultimately, the Federal Reserve is a system that was designed to fail since its inception. 

So when the derivatives debt reaches the point where it causes the American debt load to be so great that we cannot even service the interest, financial institutions all across the planet will fail. Most, if not all, governments will go into default. Because our Federal Reserve will continue to engage in this ‘print money out of thin air policy’ to cover the insurmountable debt, as we have already seen with the bailouts in 2008, the resulting hyperinflation will make the Great Depression seem like a prosperous economy. Before you go ahead and accuse me of being paranoid, first explain to me how that debt can be paid back? It cannot be paid back, ever!  However, the banksters are grasping for breath as they await the inevitable; they will not go down without a fight. They are delaying the inescapable crash which will take them down with us. Essentially, they are trying to keep their heads above water by stealing your bank accounts, pensions, and 401K’s – and it’s all by design. The devils who control the central banking system are as evil as they come. They have set into motion a derivatives scheme to destroy every civilization so they can remake this planet in their own twisted image of a Brave New World (Order).

Isaiah 26:20: “Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.” 

The Bank of International Settlement, its henchmen (i.e. World Bank, IMF), and the United Nations want to collapse existing order on this planet. This assault upon humanity began long before our time. They are beginning the demise by collapsing the world’s financial empire. When economies crumble, national governments will fail; then, will the people come to understand the term: New World Order. We are not talking about the creation of just an evil world government; we are talking about the creation of a planetary structure in which most will not survive and those that do will live in a hellish and biologically transformed slave planet. This new empire will be Satan’s empire and it will be based on their perverted notion of transhumanism. 

Ephesians 6:10-18: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”

Transhumanism involves the use of genetics, robotics, artificial intelligence, and/or nanotechnology (GRIN technologies) as tools that will be used to radically redesign our minds, our memories, our physiology, our offspring, and even perhaps our very souls. The technological, cultural, environmental, and metaphysical shift now underway unapologetically forecasts a future dominated by this new species of unrecognizably superior humans, and applications under study now to make this dream a reality are being funded by the wealthiest governments and private high-tech research facilities around the world. Unfortunately, you are about to embark on a journey for which you need no ticket – because you are going whether you like it or not; we are all going whether we like it or not. Science is on the verge of a quantum advance, one that will bring into existence objects and creatures we have never seen before having abilities we cannot imagine. The ultimate objective of this new science is nothing short of revolutionary – to transform and recreate mankind itself. If you are accustomed to thinking of yourself as being at the top of the food chain or the final rung on the so-called evolutionary ladder, you can put those thoughts to rest because you are well on the way to becoming last year’s model.

Friedrich Nietzsche (from whom the phrase ‘God is dead’ derives) was the originator of the Übermensch or ‘overman/superman’ that Hitler dreamed of engineering, and the ‘entity’ that man – who is nothing more than a rope ‘tied between beast and overman, a rope over an abyss’ – according to Nietzsche, will eventually evolve into.  Like the ancient Watchers before him, Hitler envisioned giving life to Nietzsche’s new Nephilim by remanufacturing men with animals, plants, and other synthetic life-forms through the use of modern GRIN sciences and technologies which include recombinant DNA, germ-line engineering, and transgenics – which involves altering the genetic structure of one species by the transfer of genes from another. Provided that molecular biologists who classify the functions of genes within native species yet remain unsure of how a gene’s coding might react from the transferring of one species to another, one should expect the genetic structure of the modified hybrid humans to be changed in personality, behavioral characteristics, physical appearance, sensory modalities, disease propensity, etc. Thus, from a Biblical perspective, the implication from this field of study shows that complex behavior patterns can be transferred from one species to another, strongly suggesting that Nietzsche’s ‘overman’ will likely bear Nephilim traits.  

To ‘mingle’ non-human seed with humans by modifying DNA and returning the Nephilim to Earth has been the inspiration of the spirit of the antichrist ever since YHWH Elohim halted the practice through the Great Flood. Hitler’s envision was not the founding of a race of Nephilim supermen, nor the conquest of the world – these were only the means towards the end realization of the great work he dreamed of. Hitler’s actual dream was to perform a divine operation – an act of creation – the goal being a biological mutation that would lead to an unprecedented transformation of the human race. As transhumanist philosophy and GRIN technology becomes more integrated within society, national and private laboratories, along with their corporate allies, provide increasingly sophisticated arguments for its wide-spread adoption. Those of us who treasure the meaning of life and human nature as defined by Biblical Law will progressively find ourselves engaged in more powerful spiritual conflicts over maintaining our humanity in the midst of what is fundamentally a supernatural struggle. Thus, transhumanism may be considered a rising religion because of its numerous parallels to religious themes and values involving godlike beings, the plan for eternal life, the religious sense of awe surrounding its promises, symbolic rituals among its members, an inspirational worldview based on faith, and technology that promises to heal the wounded, restore sight to the blind, and give hearing back to the deaf.

Thomas Jefferson: “If people let government decide what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny.”

Dr. C. Christopher Hook, a member of the government committee on human genetics: “The goal of posthumanism is most evident in the degree to which the U.S government has formally embraced transhumanist ideals and is actively supporting the development transhumanist technologies.  The US National Science Foundation, together with the US Department of Commerce, has initiated a major program (NBIC) for converging several technologies (including those from which the acronym is derived – nanotechnology, biotechnologies, information technologies and cognitive technologies) for the express purpose of enhancing human performance…Yet again humankind seems ready to plunge headlong into another human, or demonic, contrivance promising salvation and eternal happiness for all.  This time the Faustian bargain is being struck with technology, what John McDermott referred to as the ‘opiate of the intellectuals’.”

Nancy Gibbs, Time magazine: “As laboratories incubate new blends of man and machine… The path of progress cuts through the four-way intersection of the moral, medical, religious and political – and whichever way you turn, you are likely to run over someone’s deeply held beliefs.  Venter’s bombshell [the creation of the synthetic life ‘Synthia’] revived the oldest of ethical debates, over whether scientists were playing God or proving he does not exist because someone re-enacted Genesis in suburban Maryland.”

Leon Kass, former chairman of the President’s council on Bioethics: “Human nature itself lies on the operating table, ready for alteration, for eugenic and psychic enhancement, for wholesale redesign.  In leading laboratories, academic and industrial, new creators are confidently amassing their powers and quietly honing their skills, while on the street their evangelists are zealously prophesying a posthuman future.  For anyone who cares about preserving our humanity, the time has come for paying attention… All of the boundaries are up for grabs.  All of the boundaries that have defined us as human beings, boundaries between a human being and an animal and between a human being and a super human being or a god.”

Dr. Mark Mostert: “Species were created to procreate among those of like kind, and now this takes us a step closer to essentially saying, ‘well, whatever the Bible says or whatever the Christian perspective is doesn’t really matter.’  We have now completely divorced what we do in biology and in human engineering from acknowledging that we as human beings are creations of God and that other species are made by the creator.  Now we’re saying we are taking that role.”

Genesis 1:24-25: “And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so.  And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.”

1 Corinthians 15:39-40: “All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.  There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.”

Verner Vinge: “We simply cannot find the breaks…Even if all the governments of the world were to understand the threat and be in deadly fear of it, progress toward the goal would continue.  In fact, the competitive advantage – economic, military, even artistic – of every advance in automation is so compelling that passing laws, or having customs, that forbid such things merely assures that someone else will get them first.”

Dr. Ray Kurzweil, director of engineering at Google: The man who eats over 150 different pills a day so that he can live long enough for the technology to develop that will keep him alive forever stated: “Just as a black hole in space dramatically alters the patterns of matter and energy accelerating toward its event horizon, the impending Singularity in our future is a period during which the pace of technological change will be so rapid, its impact so deep, that human life will be irreversibly transformed.  The key idea underlying the impending Singularity is that the rate of change of our human-created technology is accelerating and its powers are expanding at an exponential pace.  Exponential growth is deceptive.  It starts out almost imperceptibly and then explodes with unexpected fury…The acceleration of paradigm shift as well as the exponential growth of the capacity of information technology are both beginning to reach the ‘knee of the curve,’ which is the stage at which an exponential trend becomes noticeable.  Shortly after this stage, the trend becomes explosive… The matter and energy in our vicinity will become infused with the intelligence, knowledge, creativity, beauty, and emotional intelligence (the ability to love for example) of our human-machine civilization.  Our civilization will expand outward, turning all the dumb matter [normal humans] and energy we encounter into sublimely intelligent – transcendent – matter and energy.  So in a sense, we can say that Singularity will ultimately infuse the world with spirit.”

Dr. James Hughes, leading transhumanist and executive director of the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut wrote: “Large-scale genetic neurological engineering of ourselves…a new chapter in evolution as the result of accelerating developments in the fields of genomics, stem-cell research, genetic enhancement, germ-line engineering, neuro-pharmacology, artificial intelligence, robotics, pattern recognition technologies, and nanotechnology…at the intersection of science and religion we have begun to question what it means to be human.”

Dr. Ray Kurzweil: “We can devise ways of at least trying to manage the enormous powers of nanotechnology, but super-intelligence by its nature cannot be controlled.  The nano/robotic revolution will force us to reconsider the very definition of human.”

Dr. Richard Seed: “We are going to become Gods, period…but if you are going to interfere with me becoming a God, you’re going to have trouble.  There’ll be warfare…God intended for man to become one with God.  We are going to become one with God.  We are going to have almost as much knowledge and almost as much power as God.  Cloning and reprogramming of DNA is the first serious step in becoming one with God.”

Genesis 3:2-5: “And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods.”

John 8:44: “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”

2 Chronicles 18:18-21: “Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the Lord; I saw the Lord sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.  And the Lord said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? 1 John 2:22: “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?  He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”

Romans 1:21-23: “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.”

Juan Enriquez, Chairman and CEO of Biotechonomy: “The day may come when we are able to take the best biology of the known animal kingdom and make it part of our own.  This isn’t just about being a bit stronger, or having perfect eyesight our whole lives.  All of our organs and limbs have weaknesses that can be addressed, and there are also opportunities to go beyond basic fixes and perform more elaborate enhancements.”

Joel Garreau: “The ability to tinker with our genes offers the astounding promise and peril of immortality, which mythically has been the defining difference between the gods and mortals.  It also offers the possibility of an even greater variety of breeds of humans than there is of dogs.”

Professor Hugo De Garis: “The prospect of building godlike creatures fills me with a sense of religious awe that goes to the very depth of my soul and motivates me powerfully to continue, despite the possible horrible negative consequences… It would be nice to be an artilect, a god, a supremely powerful omnipotent being.  I could be such a creature.  It’s possible.  It’s not an unattainable dream…All I can do here is attempt to convey some measure of the strength of ‘religious’ feeling that I and others will make public this century.”

Dr. Nick Bostrom: “Some animals have sonar, magnetic orientation, or sensors for electricity and vibration; many have a much keener sense of smell, sharper eyesight, etc.  The range of possible sensory modalities is not limited to those we find in the animal kingdom.  There is no fundamental block to adding say a capacity to see infrared radiation or to perceive radio signals and perhaps to add some kind of telepathic sense by augmenting our brains.”  According to the biblical story of Balaam’s donkey, certain animals see into the spirit realm.  Might this be an ability which Nimrod possessed, allowing him to see where he needed to build the stargate on the Tower of Babel?

Dr. Ray Kurzweil: “Evolution moves toward greater complexity, greater elegance, greater knowledge, greater intelligence, greater beauty, greater creativity, and greater levels of subtle attributes such as love.  In every monotheistic tradition God is likewise described as all of these qualities, only without any limitation… infinite knowledge… So evolution moves inexorably toward this conception of God, although never quite reaching this ideal.  We can regard, therefore, the freeing of our thinking from the severe limitations of its biological form to be an essentially spiritual undertaking.”

In 2009, ASU launched a study to explore the discovery of, and communication with, ‘entities’ originating from the ‘off world’. Called the SOPHIA project (named after the Greek goddess), the express purpose of this University’s research study was to verify communication ‘with deceased people, spirit guides, angels, otherworldly entities/extraterrestrials, and/or a Universal Intelligence/God’. Take a minute to imagine what this could mean if government laboratories with unlimited budgets working beyond congressional review were to decode the gene functions that lead animals to have preternatural capabilities of sense, smell, and sight, and then blended them with humans. Among other things, something that perhaps DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) has envisioned for years could be created for use against entire populations – genetically engineered Nephilim ‘agents’ [men in black] that appear to be human but are able to see and interact with invisible forces by our range of perception. Overnight, the rules for spiritual warfare as well as regular warfare would take on an unprecedented turn for the worse. Some of the research now underway involves actually altering the genetic code of soldiers by modifying bits of DNA to fashion a new type of human, one that functions like a machine, killing tirelessly for days and nights on end – mutations that will ‘revolutionize the contemporary order of battle’ and guarantee ‘operational dominance across the whole range of potential U.S. military employments.’ Senior writer at Scientific American John Horgan said, “DARPA officials have breached the prospect of cyborg warriors downloading complex fighting procedures directly into their brains, like the heroes of the Matrix, and has interest in the development of techniques that can survey and possibly manipulate the mental processes of potential enemies by recording signals from the brains of enemy personnel at a distance, in order to read their minds and to control them [Manchurian candidate].”  Because of the fact that whatever is developed within the field of military technology eventually migrates into the broader culture for public consumption, where it is quickly embraced for competitive or mutual advantages, the ramifications of neurobiology has not escaped international interests in both public and private agencies.

Dr. Thomas Horn: “The Book of Jasher is a mostly forgotten text referred to in the Bible in Joshua 10:13 and 2 Samuel 1:18.  Jasher records the familiar story of the fall of the watchers, then adds an exceptional detail that none of the other texts is as unequivocal about, something that can only be understood in modern language to mean advanced biotechnology, genetic engineering, or transgenic modification of species.  After the Watchers had instructed the humans ‘in the secrets of heaven’, note what Jasher says occurred: ‘[Then] the sons of men [began teaching] the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke the Lord’ (4:18).  The phrase ‘mixture of animals of one species with the other’ does not mean Watchers had taught men hybridization, as this would not have ‘provoked the Lord.’  God made like animals of different breeds capable of reproducing.  For example, horses can propagate with other mammals of the equidae classification (the taxonomic ‘horse family), including donkeys and zebras.  It would not have ‘provoked the Lord’ for this type of animal breeding to have taken place, as God Himself made the animals able to do this.  If, on the other hand, the Watchers were crossing species boundaries by mixing incompatible animals of one species with the other, such as pig DNA with humans like science is doing today, this would have been a different matter and may cast light on the numerous ancient stories of mythical beings of variant-species manufacturing that fit perfectly within the records of what the Watchers were accomplishing.  Understandably, this kind of chimera-making would have ‘provoked the Lord’, and raises the serious question of why the Watchers would have risked eternal damnation by tinkering with God’s creation in this way.  Yahweh had placed boundaries between the species and strictly ordered that ‘each kind’ reproduce only after its ‘own kind’.  Was the motive of the Watchers to break these rules simply the desire to rebel, to assault God’s creative genius through biologically altering what He had made?  Or was something of deeper significance behind the activity?”

Wesley J. Smith: “Here’s an interesting irony: Most transhumanists are materialists.  But they desire eternal life as much as the religionists that so many materialists disdain.  So they invent a material substitute that offers the benefits of faith, without the burden of sin, as they forge a new eschatology that allows them to maintain their Über-rationalist credentials as they try to escape the nihilistic despair that raw materialism often engenders.  So they tout a corporeal New Jerusalem and prophecy the coming of the Singularity – roughly equivalent of the Second Coming for Christians – that will…begin a New Age of peace, harmony, and eternal life right here on Terra Firma.”

Brent Waters, Director of the Jerre L. and Mary Joy Stead, Center for Ethics and Values: “If Christians are to help shape contemporary culture – particularly in a setting in which I fear the posthuman message will prove attractive, if not seductive – then they must offer an alternative and compelling vision; a counter theological discourse so to speak.”

Messiah himself warned that at the time of his coming conditions would be as they were in the days of Noah. Just as the fallen angels mixed their seed with humans in the days before the Great Deluge, so too they will mingle their seed with humanity in the days before the second coming. If the reason for destroying the world via the flood was the mingling of the angels and humans – which grieved God’s heart in that their thoughts and actions were continually wicked –, then a major reason the Lord will again judge the world will be due to the demons once again mingling themselves with the seed of men – for the very concept of transhumanism is to transcend human limitations. The mixing of human seed with animals is merely a stepping stone to something far more sinister that Satan has been planning for a very long time, and in fact, has already attempted several times in the past. Daniel 2:43 predicts that such a scenario is going to happen again; and the truth is, it has already begun behind the auspicious eye of the worldly powers. Though, transhumanist activity is merely a stepping stone to an even greater deception. The Bible tells us that a man with fierce countenance will arise and he will have all the power, authority, and working signs of Satan to deceive the world and to cause them to take on his mark. Could the science of transhumanism play a role in the rise of the antichrist and the mark of the beast? Could technology allow for Satan to create his promised one from his own seed as Genesis 3:15 predicts? Well, the evidence surely agrees with the possibility. By means of recombinant DNA, Satan would absolutely be able to convince humanity to insert animal, plant, and/or angelic genes, perceived as desirable or ‘good’, into the human genome. The resulting genetic composition of the new hybrid creature would result in that person becoming what we would call a ‘chimera’.

Luke 4:6-7: “[And Satan said] All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me: and to whomsoever I will I give it.  If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.”

1 John 2:15-16: “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

McTernan: “The natural progression is to enhance the human race by sharpening the senses.  If the DNA is now understood and can be manipulated, why not increase the eyesight and hearing?  With the addition of eagle DNA man could see like an eagle…For strength the introduction of gorilla DNA could give super strength, and for speed how about ostrich DNA!  The evolutionists believe they are rapidly advancing evolution by manipulating the DNA.  Many scientists believe they are enhancing evolution by improving man.  Because, through evolution, man has no fear of God and thus no restraints on tampering with DNA, any attempts to stop this tampering will be met with cries from the scientists…The creation of a chimera is in direct violation of the Bible.  The mixing of DNA from two different species violates this law.  When God created man, He stated that man was made in His image and likeness.  The human DNA is what physically carries this image and likeness.  The addition of animal DNA means that man is no longer in God’s image.  It is extremely serious to tamper with the integrity of man as transmitted through his DNA.  This is, in part, what triggered the flood of Noah’s day.  All of the hybrid humans were destroyed during the flood.  God then started over with Noah.”

People of faith – all church theologians, philosophers and the like – should find the idea of using technology to read the minds and manipulate the thoughts of individuals indefensible, as the vanguard of free will is fundamental to our religious and philosophical ethic. To humans, autonomy of cognitive thought is the most basic of doctrines in which man is unrestrained by causality or preordained by mystical powers. To the many who study this field, these issues actually represent a prophetic confluence of events that will soon combine to produce the ultimate showdown over the liberty of man and will be an unavoidable aspect of end-times prophecy.

Dr. C. Christopher Hook: “There are several key questions that our churches and theologians will have to address.  Is it appropriate for members of the body of Christ to engage in alterations that go beyond therapy and are irreversible?  Is it just to do so in a world already deeply marked by inequities?  What does it mean that our Lord healed and restored in His ministry – never enhanced?  Is it significant that the gifts of the Holy Spirit – wisdom, love, patience, kindness – cannot be manufactured by technology?”

C.S. Lewis: “In order to understand fully what Man’s power over Nature, and therefore the power of some men over other men, really means, we must picture the race extended in time from the date of its emergence to that of its extinction.  Each generation exercises power over its successors: and each, in so far as it modifies the environment bequeathed to it and rebels against tradition, resists and limits the power of its predecessors.  This modifies the picture which is sometimes painted of a progressive emancipation from tradition and a progressive control of natural processes resulting in a continual increase of human power.  In reality, or course, if any one age really attains, by eugenics and scientific education, the power to make its descendants what it pleases [transhuman/post-human], all men who live after it are the patients of that power.  They are weaker, not stronger: for though we may have put wonderful machines in their hands we have preordained how they are to use them. And if, as if almost certain, the age which had thus attained maximum power over posterity were also the age most emancipated from tradition, it would be engaged in reducing the power of its predecessors almost as drastically as that of its successors…The last men, far from being the heirs of power, will be of all men most subject to the dead hand of the great planners and conditioners and will themselves exercise least power upon the future…The final stage will have come when man by eugenics, by pre-natal conditioning, and by an education and propaganda based on a perfect applied psychology…becomes free to make our species whatever we wish to be.”

According to Scripture, the human body is not an ill-designed ‘meat sack’, as transhumanists apologists often suggest. We were made in in the image and likeness of YHWH Elohim to be temples of His Holy Spirit. The incarnation of God in the person of Jesus Christ – Yahushua – and His bodily resurrection are the centerpieces of the gospel and attest to this magnificent fact. While in our fallen condition human suffering is very much a reality, most traditional Christians believe this struggle makes us stronger and that healing and improvements to the human condition are also to be desired. But in the soul-less posthuman, where DNA is recombined in mockery of the creator and no man is made in God’s image, “there are no essential differences, or absolute demarcations, between bodily existence and computer simulation, cybernetic mechanism and biological organism, robot technology and human goals,” says Katherine Hales, professor of English at the University of California.  “Humans can either go gently into that good night, joining the dinosaurs [dragons] as a species that once ruled the Earth but is now obsolete,” she says in transhuman contempt of – or outright hostility to – intrinsic human dignity, “or hang on for a while longer by becoming machines themselves.  In either case…the age of the human is drawing to a close”.

So if an atheist and a Christian examine the same data but come to different conclusions, why is one called science and the other called faith? Evolution has detached man from his creator and being created in God’s image and likeness and is nothing more than a religion that enables people to justify writing their own rules. Evolution is not a ‘fact’, as most people seem to believe. There is not a single record of fossil evidence to support evolution throughout the entire animal kingdom. Not one! Man is now a free agent to tamper with his DNA under the guise of advancing evolution. Therefore, man sees himself as the captain of his own destiny. He is going to overcome death, disease, decay, and other human limitations that prevent us from the transhumanist dream of transcendence. Rather than live with the image of YHWH Elohim – the Father and Most High - that he has and received the cure for his fallen state, man would rather pretend that YHWH does not exist and attempt his own cure. Even the difference in the sexes is no longer considered to be God-given. Mankind is racing toward changing the very image that we were created in to disconnect us from God forever. Satan’s ultimate plan will be to persuade and/or force man to change his genetic makeup so that he is no longer fully in the image of God. Once we give up the code we have been made with, we in fact will be forsaking the image of the One who created us. Not only does this violate the ‘according to its kind’ principle, but it also has the radical consequence of man changing himself from God’s image. This wholesale redesign of humanity is what Satan has been planning for millennia. Essentially, there seems to be a scientific agenda to suppress any evidence that may point to the reality of a God or topple the hypothesis of evolution. These modern day prophets of Darwin have even gone as far as to ban any scientific research that casts doubt on Darwin from being preached in our public schools. It is certainly strange that the supposedly objective field of science has to prevent people from examining all the data. It is a modern day reminder of when the pope banned the common people from reading the Bible; when only the Papacy was allowed to interpret the Bible and tell you what to believe was real. Thus the proverbial gauntlet has been thrown down and a holy war has been declared on God’s faithful by the new and ungodly apostles of the transhumanist faith. 

The audacity and naivety of people to assert that their guesses on human origins are fact and unquestionable even though they are based on hypothetical origins reveals arrogance that has no boundaries. The Creator himself has invited us all to examine, search, explore, and reveal His Word. The Messiah knows that those who sincerely do this with a humble heart, and those who do this with their soul intent on truly discovering the Truth; those will indeed discover Him. Our Messiah does not fear our examination of His Word, nor does He condemn it – it is not anathema! In fact, He provided the ultimate platform, through the Bible, to facilitate our contemporary examinations of Him. For these reasons – and many more -, I am thoroughly convinced that through the study of Yahushua and His written Word we can find out who we are, how we came to be, and where we are going. The very purpose of my life, and yours, is found in the person of our Messiah. And thankfully, He has invited all of us to examine the compelling evidence of who He is and what He has planned for us. It can be sobering and humbling because we are all without excuse for our ignorance. The secular worldview, powered by evolution and and a multitude of false doctrine, finds itself void of any intellectual fuel. Behind a thorough examination of this evidence, it becomes clear that YHWH Elohim’s hand is dominant and constant in creation, and no other explanation in the world stands in this modern, scientific age. The written Word alone explains who we are and who our Messiah is. It is soothing to the mind, spirit, and soul because we have the answers; and it is also sobering because we will all be held accountable for the knowledge that we have been given. We will not be able to claim ignorance, for we have been exposed to the evidence. We are either for Messiah or against Him; there is no middle ground in this spiritual war. The evidence and Truth, being so clear, removes any claim of a middle ground. Therefore, those of us who have experienced the Messiah’s heavenly gift – who have been ‘born again’ and filled with the Holy Spirit – cannot travel down that old dirt road which leads to some vague intelligent designer theory. We, as believers, simply cannot leave open-ended questions and speculation on creation; we cannot voice our Messiah’s grace through a muffled cough or a careless whisper. The Truth is, as creationist Darek Isaacs proclaimed, “Our time is now running out and our voices must be loud.”

Acts 17:30-31: “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”

Acts 26:26: “For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.”

All must be willing to understand that blind faith is not our purpose in life – this wasn’t done in a corner. Such empty beliefs on creation will not throttle the believers in Messiah. The simple facts that support and carry our faith are these: Yahushua was publically tried in Court because of His claim of Deity and His ability to claim Deity – because His miracles were on display everywhere for all to see. He lived in such a perfect and complete way so that we could not possibly doubt His existence or His power; we cannot doubt His claim of Deity. Messiah then entered into the lives of so many of us, transforming the ‘born again’ believers from the sinners that we used to be by granting us forgiveness for all that we have done and will continue to do. Additionally, the Messiah sends rescue missions for those who are without faith, but are sincerely seeking and wanting to find the faith to truly believe – wanting to see reality. Thus, it is no coincidence that the Bible records how one of the disciples fell into a faithless predicament of doubt. Yet the heart of Thomas remained true to his faith, and Messiah literally showed up to rescue Thomas:

John 20:25: “The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

So here we stand at this most interesting intersection of events – past and present. Thomas has forever earned the moniker ‘doubting Thomas’, though he only upheld his doubt for eight days until the Messiah returned to His disciples at just the right time to say:

John 20:27-29: “Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.  Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

Take careful consideration of how Thomas was invited to examine the Messiah. Jesus spoke to Thomas and said, in essence, ‘here is the evidence of my death, and my Resurrection’. Upon seeing such, Thomas shouted in rejoice, ‘My Lord and my God!’ Then Y’shua said something even more compelling – something that we should all hold close to our hearts. Messiah told Thomas, even though Thomas believed because of the evidence, ‘Blessed are those who have not seen yet have believed’ (v.29). Here, we see that Thomas missed out on a higher blessing because he expressed doubt and needed to have a closer, more intimate look at the evidence that was all around him. Thomas was intended to be our example that some people simply need to see more evidence than others. However, the Bible never claims, nor does the evidence indicate, that the evidence is not and has not been provided. Messiah provided what Thomas needed; He simply reserves a greater blessing for the pure and innocent of faith. By seeing the evidence up close and personal, Thomas moved to a place where to doubt God, to doubt the Messiah, would have taken a defiant act of disobedience before God. Thomas moved into the world of evidence, in which everything around him – because he then knew the absolute Truth – testified to the Deity of Yahushua. Thomas, and all those who express doubt, could never again claim ignorance before Him and say: ‘If only…’, and neither will you.

Those very same twelve disciples who hid in fear for their lives when the Messiah was crucified had a radical change in perspective. History and the Word would tell us that these men who were cowards before, during, and immediately after Messiah’s crucifixion, suddenly became courageous, powerful public orators for the His cause. There is only one possible event that could have happened after the crucifixion that would explain the transformation of these cowards into audacious spokesmen for the written Word. According to their own testimony, they saw, with their own eyes, the resurrection of the Messiah – the Holy Spirit empowered them on the Day of Pentecost. He entered into their lives and made them new creations because of their belief in Him – it was the very event that Jesus had said would happen. Each one of them, except for John, were eventually executed for their testimony of the Messiah. They were martyred because they would not denounce what they had seen with their own eyes. This, of course, is a blatant contradiction to what these same men did directly after the crucifixion.
