Three siblings were preparing their departure for school this past Tuesday morning. Their mother, who had always insisted on smothering them with many hugs and kisses, waved goodbye as her three precious children ventured off in their Chevy Aveo with her eldest daughter. The nine year old was always happy and upbeat as she frantically waved good-by to her mother. The thirteen year old furnished his mother with a unique smile that only her son could give, and her eldest daughter, age 23, blew her a kiss as she drove off the driveway with the valuable cargo.
Nonchalantly the three of them continued their journey to school while listing to Christian music on the radio. Everything seemed to be going well until, suddenly and out of nowhere, appeared a Chevy Sudan. The eldest tried to swerve away from the vehicle, but she could not. It was too late! There was nowhere to turn. They were hit head on by the oncoming vehicle.
Not long after the accident the Mothers phone rang and she received the heart-wrenching news of her children’s fatal accident. He heart began to race as her knees crumpled to the floor in utter dread, and tears streamed down her face, for she had lost not just one child that day but all three had perished in the accident.
No mother should ever have to endure such devastation. But sadly, I have to report that this story is true and it happened to a sweet woman at our church.
I say this not to incite fear but to warn you that death is a real event no matter your age. It strikes the young, the old, the rich, and the poor. And one day death will be knocking at our doorstep, and it may not be something we desire, and quite frankly it can be scary, but it is something we will all be faced with at some point in our lives….
The question, then, is what happens when you die? Are we reincarnated, do we become non-existence, do we all get to live in a bliss, or is there really a heaven and a hell?

God wanted me to present this Scripture to inform us not be afraid of man. Especially considering the times in which we live. So many times we have gone through our lives worried too much about what other people think, how they might respond, or what they might do to us. We should not have our eyes on such things. In fact, the worst thing any person can do to us is kill us. Sounds horrible, I know! But God wants you to know that if you know the Lord, death is nothing to be afraid of. Man may have the ability to harm our bodies, but they don’t decide where we will spend eternity. That is up to you and your choice to serve God or not.
“The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. For what can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:6
Instead of fearing man, fear God, who can send the soul to hell. Powerful words coming from the Scriptures, but at the same time comforting words. God is telling us to pay attention to eternity, rather than the vapor of time we have here on earth. If you compare our 90+ year life span to eternity, then you only end up with a mere second of time. Meaning the seconds that we spend on planet earth determine where we will spend eternity. Since we are only here for seconds compared to eternity, then my question to you is: how are you going to spend those seconds of time on earth? Are you going to serve God or not?
God has given us the power of choice, to choose ourselves this day whom we will serve. He says that if we believe in his Son and confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, we will be saved and have entrance into eternity. That’s a guarantee!
“I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.” John 5:24
God is telling you He loves you and he wants you in eternity with Him. Choose life not death, heaven not hell. For He has a special place in heaven reserved specifically for you!

Very vague and anecdotal. What does it mean? You have to be very specific to make any sense out of it. You will be born again in a different body regardless of your action in this world. It’s not a punishment, it’s not a reward either. That’s just what it is.
You just come back to learn something new.

God/creator has infinite love for all creations. We were given free will to make choices and learn lessons upon this lifetime. Some people are born with heavy debts from previous lifetimes, others are advanced souls who can see nothing but love in everything and everyone.
The point being that, if you live a life of selfishness and never give to others physically, emotionally, or spiritually, you reap what you sow, so to speak. Take the seven deadly sins, for example. Seven examples of selfishness which you can look at the world and see people living through every day of their life. Anger, pride, lust, envy, greed, sloth, gluttony. If you do not conquor these in this lifetime, you carry them into the afterlife. This is incompatible with the vibratory pattern of a harmonious heaven. Some of this can be washed away, so to speak, by God/creator, but some cannot. For those who cannot, the soul has to examine itself and its faults, realize the error of its way, and cleanse itself before it can pass into the afterlife and attempt another incarnation. This would be considered “hell-like”, but the essential part is that an unconditionally loving God would never let you suffer longer than you could possibly handle, while at the same time allowing you of free will to understand these were your choices.
The point is that God will never let you suffer eternally. You may be punished for selfish behavior, but you’ll never be condemned for it. And it’s never too late to understand that the only true connection between all people is love.

But we may also find first resurection and second resurrection.

Many ask if God is love, how can God cast anyone into hell forever?
Yes, God is a God of love, but God is also a God of justice. The Bible tells us that God will reward believers with eternal life in His kingdom and cast unbelievers into the lake of fire for eternity. One might say that even someone like Hitler would be punished enough after burning in the lake of fire for thousands or millions of years. One could make the argument that a just God could come up with some formula that would determine the length of time any individual spent burning in hell for the sins they committed in their life. However, if God did that, coming up with an equation to calculate the time someone would spend in torment based on the sins they committed in their earthly life, then to be fair, for those who are saved, God would have to come up with an equation to calculate the time they would partake in the glorious kingdom of God based upon whatever good they may have done in their life. In such a scenario, torment and rewards would be for a finite period of time and based upon works. However, this is not what God promises. God speaks about eternal damnation and eternal rewards. If you make the argument that a person who sinned doesn’t deserve eternal punishment, then that argument is counterbalanced by the fact that whatever good a person may have done in their lifetime doesn’t merit an eternal reward. So God balances the scale of justice by weighing eternal damnation on one side against eternal reward on the other. Whether we like it or not, what we will be dealing with in the afterlife is eternity.
I for one am glad that God hands out eternal sentences because I can look forward to ruling and reigning with Jesus for all time to come (see REV 22:5) amen! Hallelujah!

Many religions approach eternity and have come up with their own ideas, which then become a new doctrine that leads all of their followers to Hell.

But the truth is shown in the Scriptures that no one is good, all of us are as filthy rags before God, nobody can ascend to Heaven on their own merits. “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” – Jesus Christ.
True Christianity teaches that it is Christ alone who makes man righteous. There is not one extra addition man can make to this Holy and Free Gift that makes it better. “All have Sinned and Fallen Short of the Glory of God.” Jesus Christ. Only Christ lived a totally sinless life, because his father was not from this world, Jesus’s father is God, and God is perfect without sin. Even Jesus’s mother was a virgin and untouched by a man. So Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for the sins of man. He alone is our Redeemer. No other way is there for man to be saved.

The Bible specifically says that we ARE a living soul, and that the soul that sins, dies. It also says that NOTHING SURVIVES DEATH. It also says that “no man can see my (God’s) face and live”. It also says that flesh cannot go to heaven, ever. So, we have no immortal soul, we don’t go to heaven, and there is no hell. Any Bible that uses the word hell, has mis-translated sheol and hades into hell. Neither of these words translates into hell. They translate into common grave of mankind. NOT HELL. HumanBeing you got in before I finished, no matter. First I don’t know how you worked out that I am the son of Satan because I used a band name for my username, a little extreme don’t you think? Anyway, point taken that it is Satan who wishes to demand my loyalty, you are quite right, I did not understand this and in fact I did think it was God or Jesus that was demanding. So thanks for clearing up this very important point for me.
Just to make it clear I am not interested in complying with Satan at all for any reason and I certainly do believe in God.

Not sure if you were replying to me or not but if you were, yeah look I hear what you say, I’ve have a bit of a poke around with weed and the odd mushroom, I’m well aware of the pineal gland and I have had a few of those experiences you mention myself and I gotta tell you I’m not reliant on the drugs I’ve had my fun and what doesn’t come naturally doesn’t come at all.
Also I don’t have any psychotic fixation with any particular book or religion, I am still searching at this stage , still learning, looking for some answers for particular questions right now and this is why as you can see, I am still dealing with some issues with Christianity and haven’t decided anything yet, I may never in this life, I just don’t feel ready yet, this is my choice and if it doesn’t happen in this life, so be it. Yes well thanks to HumanBeing I understand the story of the Bible a little better now but before that as you can see from what I wrote where the threat was so now this issue is cleared up. As far as the name thing goes, it’s fine my friend, I didn’t really know too much about the band just that I liked some of their music, thought it was refreshingly different and their band name was unusual in those days, I always remembered it and yes in fact stole it for my username, I honestly don’t think of it as any Satanic theme or anything like that, funny how it goes! And yeah as I said before I was a bit slow in sending my next post and you got in before so yeah there was a bit of confusion, no harm done.

No, the Bible does NOT say what you claim. Only a mis-translated one does, like King James, ASV, Douhy-Rheims, and a few others, that are the product of Constantine and his Council at Nicea. They wanted a Bible that would edify the state religion, the Roman Church. It is a combination of the scriptures, lies, and paganism. A true translation doesn’t mention hell, cross, trinity, or any of the other lies in the KJV.

the KJV says this:

Hay mate that’s ok with me, you are entitled to your views, for me, I guess I still need time but I’m finding some interesting comments hear on this site which are helping to at least answer some questions.
At my age I have found, as I get older, the less sure I am about anything, but there is at least one sure thing, and I mean a real deep down kind of sure, not cocky or arrogant kind of sure, but the kind of sure that you just wouldn’t think to doubt in any way whatsoever, and that is that I know there is some form of creative life force which has put us and this astoundingly amazing collective system in place. It did not fall out of a serial box, this much I feel comfortable with at this stage.
As far as the book thing goes, well, I can’t really say that I have any particular gripe about books, I’m probably more concerned with what might be contained in that book or who wrote it or what is it’s purpose. In the case of the Bible kind of book well, this is where I am still learning and just generally finding answers, but look I don’t expect you to follow a book, this is completely all on you.

All I can offer you at this stage is, I’m sorry, I don’t have the answer to your question, only my own personal opinion if this is worth anything to you at all, and that is, if there is, well, to state the obvious as to your understanding that there is no creator, well then of course I would say then there is no tosser, and perhaps then we did in fact fall out of a serial box already evil, or, there is another scenario, and this is most likely where my personal opinion starts. Well to be fair I think there is quite a cross section of personalities which come here and they come for a few reasons, some are genuinely here because they believe in their chosen religion and do wish to try to help the questioning beginners like myself. Some are here to defend, in some cases defend something they themselves are not entirely sure about and fear losing what little hold they have. Some are just window shopping like me, some come to do battle to the death no matter what’s the subject, while some come to beat the crap out of something they don’t yet understand. It certainly is a colorful world is it not?? Lol!

Hi mfritz0 yes I do believe this but I always had the idea that God gave you a choice, either chose the way of Jesus or he would throw you in hell but as I learn this is not the case. But then another confusing thing is in other information I learn that God created all things perfect so how could he make a mistake with Satan? or was this how it was supposed to be in order that we could go through the necessary challenges of life complete full circle to once again reach our final judgment? Anyway I have tried several times to get someone to explain this point below, can you assist?

God didn’t make a mistake with Satan, who initially was perfect. But like us humans, angels were also created with free wills, as God doesn’t want robots. Here is some background on the origins of Satan:

I have to say I am impressed with your ability to read and interpret the Bible, however, I wish I could say the same thing for myself, but this is clearly not the case.
I understood your words but lost you when you immediately started to quote from the Bible, although it did leave me with one mental impression, I think it felt something like …. Grey.
Not to be disrespectful or blasphemous but I think there are so many thow’s and thee’s that I can immediately feel this fishing net starting to pull down over me until I find myself fighting to read on. I can see I am going to need to learn a whole lot more patience with this!
Ok so I’m to understand that God did not make a mistake with Satan, apparently Satan with his free will decided that it just wasn’t merely enough to be given the mighty power and honor of being angel number one, answering only to the supreme being God. He thought he could somehow do one better so to speak.
So am123 if you wouldn’t mind, I am curious to understand what it might have been that came into Satan’s head that he though he could somehow outdo this obviously incredibly powerful, all knowing supreme being which gave life to him in the first place. I feel this would be likened to something as unbelievable as myself attempting to outdo one of the lowly angels in as much as I would have some hair-brained idea how to achieve this, and what to do with this if I did. Doesn’t seem to sit right with me if you can feel what I’m saying, also I cannot imagine that the all knowing God would not have the senses to realize that there would need to be some kind of fail-safe in place for such a possible serious breach. I mean for someone as dumb as myself on this subject, I can’t help but think it would be the first thing on my mind if I were a creator of this calibre.
I think I would tend to lean more towards Satan was created to be a very naughty boy so that we may be tempted and subsequently be dragged into a life after life of strife so in order that we may learn to realize how much we need and care for God. Pardon me but I feel this would make more sense and if so I really can see how God did not make any mistake in this case, I mean things are really hotting up around here.

I am always happy to answer to the best of my abilities any serious questions about spiritual and Biblical matters.
Regarding the Bible quotes, it may be easier for you to read a more modern translation (i.e. New International Version) of the Bible rather than the King James version. But more on that in a minute.
Regarding Satan, we can only go by the clues given to us in the Bible. We know Satan was corrupted by his great pride. The Bible tells us Satan is great in beauty and wisdom and was very skilled in trading (or what we would call business today). As to why Satan wasn’t happy with his place in the universe and why he sought to unseat God, I have to quote the Bible again, but here is a modern translation that will make it easier for you. Speaking of Satan, the Bible says:
13 You said in your heart,
“I will ascend to the heavens;
I will raise my throne
above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.
14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.”
—Isaiah 14:13-14
So here in his pride and perhaps envy and whatever else, Satan wanted to make himself like the Most High. Satan wants to rule this earth. But Satan also knows what is written in the Bible and so he knows that men, not angels, will be in charge of the kingdom to come. So this no doubt causes jealousy and rage in him. So he has and is trying every trick in his book to try and throw a monkey wrench into God’s plan, but he will utterly fail. He knows what his end will be (the lake of fire). And you said things are getting hot and heavy down here. That is because Satan knows his time is short and he is filled with rage.
Regarding God having a fail-safe in place for angelic uprisings, well, He did and He does! Satan is limited by the ground rules God has set in place. He cannot harm those that belong to and trust in God. But if men give Satan room in their lives, he has license to wreak his havoc. For example, if God is not number one in your life, then something else will fill that void. In our society, many things fill that void, like money, sex, alcohol, drugs, etc. And these things become “gods” to people, and Satan has them in bondage with these things. And the bottom line is, it is all about a battle for souls. If someone doesn’t belong to Jesus, then they belong to Satan and when they die, their souls get dragged down into the pits of hell.
Here is the Gospel message:
God is a holy God and a consuming fire. In God’s holy presence, sin is consumed in the fire. And so on the Day of Judgment, God’s presence will burn up all that are unholy and unrighteous. And everyone, of their own accord, is unholy and unrighteous. None of us are perfect and righteous and holy. Our “good works” are nothing but filthy rags in the sight of a perfect and holy God (see Isaiah 64:6). Sin separates men from God. So men who rest on their own merits cannot exist in the presence of a holy God without being consumed in the fire of His holy presence on the Day of Judgment.
But the GOOD NEWS is this: We have a mediator for us between us and God. His name is Jesus, the High Priest that meets our needs. For all those that accept Jesus, the Lamb of God, as the sacrifice for their sins and makes Him their Lord and Savior, they in effect “put on” the righteousness and holiness of Jesus Christ. So when God looks at them, He sees not their own righteous (or lack thereof) or holiness (or lack thereof), but He sees the perfect holiness and righteousness of Jesus Christ. And such a person will be able to stand in the presence of God on the Day of Judgment without be burned in the consuming fire. And he will dwell in the New Jerusalem and rule and reign with Christ forever and ever! Hallelujah!

Just got a couple of queries here based on your earlier reply. I will try to set it out like point form so as not to ramble on for longer than eternity.

In defense of am123, There is not anywhere in any of his statements that I have found him deceiving or fake in any way at all.

Not in the slightest! To be straight with you, I am not much into appearances.
I have seen many interpretations of what Jesus supposedly looked like posted around various institutions and I doubt that anyone could prove what Jesus looked like and If I so loved Jesus and believed in him to that degree that I wished to draw my own picture of what I thought Jesus looked like and put it up on my wall or pasted into my favorite article in the internet, then I couldn’t give two coins what you or anyone else thinks about it………. to be honest!
If am123 posted a picture of a stick man and called it Jesus then that’s up to him, but I can tell you this does not alter the fact that I can hear the truth which rings in every word he says because I know he believes in his chosen faith, regardless of what I believe about jesus.
The nature of how trivial and lightweight that some of these comments are can only lead me to think that perhaps you need to get back on track and concentrate on what is important and incredibly urgent right now. Now where was I, yes, I was going to say that I feel sometimes people might get a little too bogged down in details by being too literal in life. The straight out truth for myself is that I believe God is far more interested in what is going on in our hearts than what color shoes we wear, did we turn up late for church, did we get some sentences mixed up in the Bible or in fact the hundreds of mistakes that a person has made in the course of their lifetime.
God is looking for Honest, Loyal, Loving and Forgiving people who are intent on giving everything they have in their hearts over to him and to live selflessly while we are in this Earthly sojourn, and cares not about the clothes we wear or the pictures we share. We may get all the details cleverly worked out on every angle and miss the point completely.
Also I think God requires us to make some effort and do the best we can to respect his wishes as to the way each of us understands them without causing more problems than what we started out with. I think it is important to remember that in our dealings with the Bible, particularly in a shared environment that we lead with love not fear, fear of interpreting some words or paragraphs wrongly in case it might prevent us from entering the gates of eternity, but to embrace the meanings with love which can enlighten the soul and build a stronger link between our fellow man and our living God.
I think it is wise to hold a healthy respect for God and his principals but not to fear them to the point where it affects our spiritual journey by getting bogged down with literal dogma, this is the stuff that wars are made of and that 's why we have so many hateful arguments in these blogs because people can't see the forrest for the trees.
I believe it is right to treat people how we would like to be treated ourselves, we give respect to receive it, We treat God how we want him to treat us.

I just wanted to say a few things while I have been thinking on the subject.

As you no doubt have noticed, I have not partaken here at BIN much before now, in fact this is the first time where I have taken some hours to interact with people in this way and so far I’m finding it to be interesting, there are diverse characters here to say the least.
As I’m sure you already know that I haven’t really given what I call serious consideration to accepting Jesus and therefore Christianity as my chosen faith, although I have thought about the subject many times, still I could not bring myself to accept the words in the Bible and in truth, as I said earlier it always seemed to be such a made up story for which I just could/would not get my head around.
However, I have always believed in God. From as early as I can remember I have ‘known’ strangely without any doubt that there is what I call ‘Creator’ or ‘It’ I have had no names to put to it but nevertheless the feeling is no less than that of your feelings toward Christ. This might bring you some understanding of my frustration earlier when you were attempting to help with my questions/comments, etc, to which by the way were handled very well, to the point and held with respect.
I have also studied for some time and was for a couple of years a member in Eckankar (if you know of it) I have found that there are common themes throughout this and other spiritual teachings, together with a little time in Buddhism and reading a number of spiritual books I guess you could say I have dabbled a little in this and that. (master of none) lol. I have also read up on and studied about the financial and economic realities taking place around us now for around the same years.
But it hasn’t been until recently (last 10 years) that I have noticed that there have been and is now seeming evidence, signs and events forming in and on the Earth which do in fact seem to correlate very strongly with the book of revelations which I can tell you makes me more than a little curious as to the truth behind the Bible.
So, this is where I am at, a middle to late aged spiritual novice who happens to believe without a doubt that we are facing in all aspects some very severe times ahead. So with this I just wanted to say thanks again for your assistance earlier with my questions. Who knows where all this will lead me in the end or if I will ever find ‘home’ but yes I can honestly say that I am searching for the truth..

I have been reading your conversations here, interesting read, I agree with lot of what you say.
Don’t you get the feeling(when you described god in you reply to truth seeker) of being a slave when you say “God requires us”, “God wants us”? Just saying.
Sometimes I like to believe that we are all the same God, as God we decided to release part of our self into a million different possibilities (man, plants, bugs, animals, planets, etc..) but fail to recognize ourselves in the journey. And perhaps the point of the journey is to re-discover ourselves, maybe god was bored with his perfection and all and decided to spice things up a bit.
God is here, there and everywhere, the beginning, the end, no time, no boundaries.
To all: The portion of my comment above is just one of my many theories, so you religious nuts stay calm. 4 years ago I was found breathless and lifeless by my wife in bed. She did CPR for about 15min with no luck. After, what I can imagine being the longest 15 min in her life and no luck she began screaming at the tops of her lungs for me while shaking and pounding on my lifeless body, I heard her calls and decided to follow her voice and come back. Yes, I decided to come back. I was not with God but One with Him, we were one and the same.There was no Him or me but just One. There was no here and there, it was all, it was everywhere. I had no body, I was this immense source of warm and glowing energy, it just kept getting bigger and bigger, warmer and warmer. At one point I felt cuddled and loved like our moms do when we are babies. As I gained the worlds memories my energy grew bigger and bigger…………if you ever had real ecstasy then you would know about its bliss, then imagine having an endless supply of it and just taking it nonstop. That is the only way I can describe the blissfulness and endless love I felt when I returned to be the Universal Spirit of Life.
I never believed in god, my mother taught us about it but I never believed it. I always felt like a prisoner when I heard the “word”. At 26yrs of age I found that there is life after death and what we go through on earth compared to the universe in its whole is smaller than an atom. One thing is for sure, you won’t find truth in 1 book. I like using this analogy: (in a perfect justice system) When a crime is committed the detective will ask several witnesses for an account of the events, several, not one but several. He will look at all of the evidence as well, not just one piece of evidence but all. So why only believe the one witness and refuse to hear any others?
I don’t need a book or anyone at that to tell me right from wrong. I don’t need either in order to live righteously, I believe the Universal Spirit of Life in us tells us that, it is ingrained in our DNA. Now, in my opinion, we have all sorts of pollutants around us that corrupt us to the core. Garbage from the TV, music, movies, news, magazines, edited and erroneously translated religions and books etc… Then you have the chemicals in our food and health industries that mess with brains, cells and even DNA. Also, radio waves from our electronics. I believe TPTB are the source of corruption, everything they bombard us with is to stop us from being are true selves.
For those that will argue that the bright white light seen by many NDE people is just neurons in the brain firing as it dies need to read the book, or search on the net for videos by Dr. Eben Alexander’s book “Proof of Heaven”.
He is a Neurosurgeon and explains that in his NDE he is able to prove his brain could not function at all when his experience happened due to the type of death he experienced. Fascinating to listen to. I got more from his videos than I did the book because he has a very expressive personality.

Near death experiences don’t prove anything. When you die (and when you were born, too) your body and brain is being flushed with hormones and other chemicals that can have various (psychedelic) effects. So when you die, you’ll go high.
Either way, would you believe someone who is high on DMT (has the same effects as some psychedelic endogenous chemicals that make you halucinate) that he saw heaven or god or dead relatives?
Didn’t you see the earlier comment about someone who was BRAIN-DEAD and still had the NDE? No theories about hormones or chemicals can apply to a dead breain.
I have a friend my old neighbor Tom. He was visiting another neighbor eating lunch and my son was present. Tom went into seizure and he collapsed. His heart quit beating. I received word that an ambulance had been called and Tom was transported to the nearest hospital. The hospital being 45 minutes away in the nearest large city. I was working in town and quickly picked up some flowers and made a visit to hospital. I came upon Tom looking weak but otherwise ok. I told him I heard he had a scare and stopped in to check on him. Tom not a religious man and I had never heard him speak of God, the soul, or anything of that nature he was a here and now serious fellow. Tom the related to me his experience he told me he hadn’t spoken to anyone about what he had went through. Tom told me he was sitting there eating and feeling fine carrying on a pleasant conversation when suddenly he was hovering by the ceiling. He said he was filled with a peace and wanted to go but could not as he watched the occupants of the room room rush to his body calling his name and the ensuing panic. He watched as my son lifted him from the table and proceeded to work on him, clearing his airway and checking for breath and heart beat. He said he just wanted to go but he could feel that everyone was holding there in the room and that he could not go. And then just like that he was back in his body. I just looked at Tom not knowing what to say, Tom looking confused and concerned it’s as if he had never contemplated his own mortality or the possibility of an afterlife. I am sure I mutterd something reassuring and then excused myself as I had to get home as my younger children and responsibilities needed me. I mean wow just wow, I had heard of these things but had never met anyone who had a personal experience. When I returned home and my son finally returned I told him what Tom had told me and he too was just blown away and confirmed what Tom had told me of my sons actions. I mean what are we to make of this Tom is no story teller and had always been a strait shooter and to have the confirmation from my son about stuff Tom wouldn’t have been conscience of was just astounding. Years later I met another man who had died, I mean died on paper time was called on his ride to the hospital after a heart attack, this guy was a Christrian and he went into a room full of light but that there was a door and he was told not to go through the door even though the door was open I don’t know if he was a Christrian at the time of his experience but he was when I spoke to him. Any way the voice that told him to stay in the room that said he was going back was just that and nothing more and then boom he was back in his body and he said he did not want to go back because his heart attack hurt so bad and sure enough when he came back he said his chest and whole body just hurt at that time he was already at the hospital at the end of the ambulance ride. I haven’t the nerve to press people on their experiences cause it just freaks me out. But now I have been reading how physicist are now saying indeed they believe by the laws of science that we go on to another dimension of energy or something like that. I mean after all we are energy and laws of science say energy never dies so it sure gives me something to think about. It is worth thinking about isn’t it. I can’t criticize people who believe in souls and an afterlife, I don’t KNOW that they are wrong, I may think this or think that but nobody KNOWS and I do know Toms no liar. It would be nice if we are soul and makes sines why else would identical twins be so different and distinct except for soul. Anyways peace out = peace in!

I just finished reading all the comments below and am not surprised at all the negativity, from those who deny the Lord.
But, I AM here to testify that I have had a near death experience and it was the most wonderful thing to ever happen to me. I’m not even going to go into what happened, but several of the things the lady, in the video listed, did happen to me.
No, I didn’t meet the Lord. But, the love and joy I felt, was so overwhelming, that I can’t begin to explain it adequately. This experience was real, no question of it. It happened more than 6 years ago and I remember it all, as clearly as if it happened last night. This I swear, before the Lord Almighty.
Why I was given this gift, out of so many more “deserving” of it, I don’t know. I do know that at that time of my life, I was in turmoil. I was torn between love and hate. I believe that God wished for me to experience His Most Awesome Love, so I could share my experience and, hopefully compel others to seek His eternal gift of Love.
To deny the Lord, my God, is to find yourself judged harshly, when your soul leaves this Earthly body.
You failed to realize that you did meet the “lord all mighty”, that love and joy you can’t describe is the lord. You were one with him, there was no you, there was no him, it just was…. one. I died and felt the same bliss you describe. You have been conditioned to expect the Universal Spirit of Life to confront you with judgement, expecting it so bad you failed to realize it was you all along they were making you to fear, you are the Universal Spirit of Life. There is no him to pass judgement on you, it will be you reflecting on your actions.
I’ve read a lot of books on the subject both religious, And secular. And they have many wild theories, And supposed proof. It makes for great entertainment, Especially when your promising someone an easy afterlife, Or a reincarnation to do it right next time.
The problem with all of this is I have died twice for extended periods of time, And during both of these events, I was not greeted by angels, Demons, Or any religious persona. Nobody showed up to take me anywhere, In fact all I saw was a lot of people that I didn’t know, Who also couldn’t be bothered to notice me, Let alone speak to me. And I was forced to strike up a conversation with some woman who also looked lost. there was no information given to us, And I had no clue what I was supposed to do. But i soon found out I could go anywhere I could think of instantly. After wandering a bit, I was overwhelmed with the feeling of being completely alone in a limitless universe. I remember thinking to myself that this must have been what it was like to be born onto the earth. And it only makes sense that I would also have no clue how to live in the next dimension either, And would have to figure it out. And then I was back. both times this happened the same way. Sorry but I’ve seen what’s waiting, And religions don’t cover it.

Dude get out of my thoughts! My problem is I haven’t regained my memories but then again I’ve always had weird dreams, I wouldn’t doubt some might be memories I’m dismissing.
I died once and as I hoovered there as the “one” lol, not in front of like to be judged or something, there was no him and no me, it was just one. This one big source of energy, love, warmth and bliss. As I hoovered I started gaining endless knowledge and memories of the universe. Like a real fast movie but strange part was I could hear, think and feel every thing every character in it was going through. It was as if I played every character in the movie myself, simultaneously. I even had recollection of the characters memories and all.
Have any tips on how I would recollect my past memories while still here as this character?

There are thousands of people that have had an NDE and the majority of them do not back up what the bible says. You will experience what you believe when you die. No one is an expert and no one has an absolute total understanding of what happens when you die. Most NDEs have similar stories to tell but also they are unique to the individual. To say that you know 100% is not true…maybe in your mind it’s 100% true.

To those of you who want to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, believe and then you will see.
Those who are “of this world” can never see the “kingdom of heaven”, much less enter into it. Here is what Jesus said about such people:
10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

The kingdom of this world and the kingdom of heaven are diametrically opposed. For those in this world, for those who have their minds set on earthly things, they want to see and understand things first and then they will believe. But in the kingdom of heaven, it is the exact opposite. Believe first and then you will see and understand. You must trust in the LORD and lean not on your own understanding (see Proverbs 3:5). In order to enter the kingdom of heaven, you must take the step of faith. Believe first and then you’ll see.
Humans are composed of body, soul, and spirit. Your soul is made up of your mind, will, and emotions. The point of contact between God in heaven and men on earth is through a person’s spirit. But for those who are “of this world”, they are spiritually dead. So they cannot receive revelation from God, for the line of communication is not working. So when the people who are “of this world” try to understand the supernatural world, they are using only their natural minds (their soul) and it makes no sense to them. They cannot see, nor can they hear. But once a person takes the step of faith and believes on Jesus, they become born again and their spirit comes alive and the line of communication between them and God works. So then God, who is Spirit, is able to communicate with that person’s spirit and gives revelation to that spirit. The spirit of such a man then is able to infuse the soul with the revelation it has received. Such a person is able to see God and hear from God because his spirit has been quickened and made alive in Christ.
So, for those wish to see before they will believe, they will continue to look and look without ever seeing. But for those who take the step of faith and believe first, they will see and they will understand because they have eyes to see with and ears to hear with. The kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.
You don’t like free will, apparently. You think God should have made us puppets. Because you can’t have God protecting the human race from itself at the same time you demand that God leave you alone.
So what is God supposed to do? If he prevents us from doing harm to each other, then we are not free and cannot possibly return his love, since robots cannot truly love. If he doesn’t prevent it, you blame him for what he never did and never condoned. You are being irrational and demanding two mutually-exclusive things.
Put the blame where it belongs: on the monsters who do evil, whether people or demons.
There will come a day when God puts an end to Satan and to everyone who does evil. Yet many people, like you, will still rage at God for doing it. You want God to punish evildoers, but when he does you flame him for murdering. Make up your mind!

This universe is approximately 16.4 billion years old. There are billions of galaxies in it. You need to take your God out of the box. If the BIG doG, God backwards, manifests all life so it can create an eternal fire to throw it’s own creation in, WOW that’s crazy! Jesus said you reap what you sow… that is your hell. One of the most enduring myths is that of the Ancient Greeks. They believed that the recently dead would find themselves at the banks of a vast river, the River Styx. Out of the mists would appear Charon, the Ferryman. It was his job to ferry the soul, termed a “Shade,” across to the other side…. To the Land of the Dead.
But he did not do this for free. He needed a payment. The relatives of the recently dead person made sure the Shade could pay the ferryman. This payment was usually a small coin called an obolus. Depending upon the tradition, either this would be placed under the tongue of the corpse or two oboli would be placed over each eye.
This well known myth still resonates over three thousand years later. “To Pay The Ferryman” can still be heard today. However, there is a lesser known myth that suggests a deeper truth: The myth of the River Lethe.
The Greeks believed that before getting to the banks of the Styx the Shade would encounter a much smaller tributary of the great river. This could be crossed with ease by wading from bank to bank. This small river was called the Lethe, and its waters contained a profoundly important quality.
If the Shade or newly deceased soul drank of this water all their memories would evaporate. They would forget who they are and the events of their life. Their memories would become like those of a new born baby. Of course by doing so the Shade also forgot all of the lessons learned during that life.
But before doing this the Shade had the option of drinking from a small pool next to the Lethe. This was the Spring of Mnemosyne. By drinking here the Shade’s past-life memories became sharp and distinct. Each action and its subsequent effects became crystal clear. Life’s lessons became precise and understood.
If the Shade drank of the Spring of Mnemosyne they were allowed to pay the ferryman, board the boat, and sail across the Styx to the Elysian Fields.
But if a drop of the waters of the Lethe was drunk by the Shade, then they were sent back to be reborn again with no memories of their previous life. Now this was not a form of reincarnation as it is understood by most people. It was a re-birth process in which the same life was lived again. The Shade found itself back in its mother’s womb waiting to start all over again.

If you enter the tunnel of light, do not allow any council to convince you that you need to repay any karmic debt. Any perceived karmic debt was part of what you decided to experience. If you do decide to come back to help this planet, do not agree to come back to this 3rd dimensional reality of systemic control through a “soul contract”. Come back on your own terms, which includes the remembrances of all previous lives and everything you have learned throughout your incarnations as well as on the other side of the veil.
You could come back into a fifth dimensional version of Earth, but only choose this if you are certain that it is a version that is not under the control of the archonic system. You could also choose to come back as a non physical guide to the old 3rd dimensional system to help others, just as our guides have done.
Ultimately, your true peace will be found once you realize that YOU are SOURCE/CREATOR and you have the ability to create worlds and galaxies that are harmoniously filled with love outside of this system of control.

Scripture tells us about the promise of resurrection, how Jesus was the first of many sons. We are assured of the coming of the New Jerusalem (God’s Kingdom) “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”
Lisa, can you answer one question for all of us readers? If man has an eternal soul or self sustaining spirit separate from his physical presence, a spirit that is instantly whisked away to some predestined place of reward or punishment when we perish, why would we need God or His Son Jesus Christ to receive eternal life? We wouldn’t! It’s not true.

Sorry but all i’m reading here is mumbo jumbo,NOBODY on this or any other site can tell you exactly what happens after death,i too have seen the videos of children describing faraway towns and villages they can’t have known or the little boy who met WW2 vets and told them stories he shouldn’t have in any way known.
