The Mother of All Bubbles is About to Burst and it Will be Horrific

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

When this bubble finally bursts, it will be much louder than the shot heard around the world.   It will affect every single person on this planet regardless of where they live, what they do, or what age they are.  No one will be exempt, not even the elite.  Even those that have taken measures now to protect themselves will feel the effects but they will not be hurt as badly and they will survive longer.

For those of us who have been around for the last 50 or 60 years, which is most of the boomers, life has been good.  Up until about 2008 we have all prospered.   Our homes have increased in value, our wages have gone up, we have been able to take many trips, buy new cars, and dress ourselves and our children in designer clothes.   We have all the gadgets we could want, we could eat out a few times a week, and there was no shortage of entertainment and sports that we could enjoy.  This truly was living the American Dream.

Life was not the same for our forefathers.  Some of them came to this country with two suitcases and two children and couldn’t speak very much English.  Their country had been devastated by wars and left in shambles and there was very little optimism left.  That’s why they came to America, the land of opportunity.   And life was good to them.   They had to work hard, but they could see a future for themselves and their families.  They had freedom, there was always lots of food available, there was lots of work, and everyone could afford a house and a car.   Wow, this was really living.

So many times I used to ask myself “How did America do it”.   What they accomplished in such a short time was truly remarkable.  But that was before I understood how money worked.  Now I know that it was mainly due to inflation.  In 1947 America had a 120% debt to GDP ratio, higher than it is now.  But in the years that followed, due to money printing and inflation, the GDP outgrew the debt.  And what was being created from 1947 till now was a false illusion of prosperity, a fantasy, and everyone loved it.  Debt was greatly expanded so that everyone could “fly now and pay later”.  We were taught that debt was good.  No one owned anything, they just paid the bank each month to be able to use it.  And so like little puppets we sucked it up and lived the good life.   Little did we know that we were being set up as pawns in the greatest Ponzi scheme that the world has ever seen.

And today, those of us who never experienced the “hard times” but have always lived the life of affluence, can’t even imagine what it would be like to live like our forefathers did.  Or when we read about the last Great Depression, we can’t even imagine that anyone could survive through that.  Lack of work, lack of food, lack of everything.   No one had any money, many starved, some committed suicide.  People wandered around willing to work for food.  Those that were more fortunate had a meal once a day.  Many lived in run down vacant warehouses and homes that were boarded up.  Life was hard.  But here is the most scary part of all.

When this Mother of All Bubbles this false prosperity, this illusion of wealth, this fantasy magic show, finally bursts, it will completely devastate most people who are now living in denial.  They will lose everything.   Of course we will always learn to survive when we have to, but this time will be much different.  We will have Martial Law to contend with.   And then there’s the Fema Camps.  Who were they built for?  And what will happen to the 47 million Americans who are on food stamps, what will they have for supper?   And what about the riots and gangs that will be scrounging for food.  How will we protect ourselves with no guns?  It’s totally mind boggling to try to imagine what we will have to face.  It’s like when our neighbours house burns down.  We say “Gee that’s too bad” but do we REALLY know how bad it is?   Not until we experience it.  And this is when I think that all the pent up anger will finally explode.  When the masses finally understand that they have been lied to and had.  Until now it has been astounding that after all the corruption, the lies, the deceptions, the people are still so passive.  They should have been rioting in the streets long ago.  But the anger is building and this is why I believe that when it finally erupts it will be the most explosive catastrophe that will have ever occurred.  Far more horrific than the Great Depression.   And it’s coming soon.  Are you ready?

It is coming soon, and it WILL be horrific. But for those of us who survive, the world will surely be a much better place after the revolution and the restoration of the US Constitution.

I hope I make it. I’m fifty and just found out that I will have to have both hips replaced. The first on the 18th of this month and the second depends upon the recovery time of the first. I want it all done ASAP, while I still can get the proper medical care. Fixing a broken tooth I have had for over twenty years is next. To survive what is coming your going have to work like you have never imagined before. Right now I’m running the generator and charging my solar batteries. I bring it out once a year and make sure that it’s okay. I have food and it seems like a lot. But when the SHTF it won’t look like so much. I have gone about the neighborhood and spread the word that I am broke (I have been out of work for two years) and have no food, just so no one gets any ideas. I also have the means to which to protect myself. The only that I lack is a trustworthy partner. I know it is crucial but I live in a semi rural area that is unfortunately filled with pot smoking old hippies that are big time democrats. So there is no one to trust here. If I can lie low, keep my head down and not draw any attention to myself I may have a 50/50 shot of getting through the initial die-off. Getting through that will be the hardest part. After the die-off those of us who saw this coming and prepared can start coming together to help each other. The second biggest issue will be the possibility of a foreign country trying to seize control while the USA goes through the spasms of ridding itself of it’s own waste.

“Life was not the same for our forefathers.”

Not the same for 90% of the world either. While you are enjoying your American dream of capitalism, with your corporate monsters educating your desires, other people are paying the price for you, starving to death so America can buy cheap.

“I pity the man who wants a coat so cheap that the man or woman who produces the cloth will starve in the process.” — Benjamin Harrison, 1851

The American bubble will most probably burst, again, but the people you are treating as slave labour or bombing yet another undefended impoverished country back to the stone age in other parts of the world, will be celebrating your demise, not suffering with you.

America is not the biggest country in the world, it is not the most technologically advanced either. It’s certainly one of the most polluted, has the largest gap in wealth, a poor education system, practically nonexistent health care for most of the population.

What is it exactly that you think is so special about America that it’s demise will be a global disaster?

You make excellent points Pix. All of them. And this is the very reason I can’t understand why people support the idea that our government is only to protect our borders and build our roads. (BTW…it’s not even doing those things at the moment. We have bridges falling and in need of repair now.)

Why support candidates that would further put us in the dark ages by reducing education, health to all, limiting jobs (yes that is actively taking place) and denying the very benefits that were CONTRACTED by the government?

Demand better of leaders and advance our country. Stop allowing this antiquated 1970′s polyester suit way of thinking and lets move into the 21st century.

        • HumanBeing

Life is not a zero-sum game. It is not required that in order for one person to have more, another person must have less. True, non-centrally planned capitalism was abandoned long ago; what the western world (not just the US) has had is corporatism, which is the term Mussolini used as more accurate than fascism. The markets have been rigged for a long time and controlled by the international (again, not just the US) bankers.

Big government is one root of the problem, the international banks being the other primary root. Goverment should only protect the borders, but the roads are best left to private enterprise. Taxes should be only on consumption and levied at point of sale, which eliminates entities like the IRS and all the time wasted on bureaucracy.

Big government has done the poorest job meddling in education and health as well. Only children need their lives managed for them. Yes, let us move into the 21st century by growing up and managing our own lives.

        • CrowPie

          HumanBeing

I agree with you on the Corporatism. I also believe that it doesn’t take a big government to accomplish the job that needs done.

However, commonsense and accountability has become lost in the fray. This must end. Monies must become accounted for, and there must be ONE person to hold responsible for that chain of custody.

          Common sense.

        • HumanBeing

          CrowPie,

Given that common sense and accountability are gone, the last thing we should do is put it all in the hands of one person or entity. As a decentralized means of commerce, the best model we have right now is Bitcoin, which has recovered from the artificial pump-and-dump re. Mt. Gox to stabilize at around $650 lately. No banks, no central authorities, no way to hack every computer in the world as would be possible with centralization. The ledger of transactions is distributed around the world, and the supply is limited by mathematics.

Put power in one entity, and all of the world will be held hostage.

        • CrowPie

You don’t “PUT” it all in the hands of one person. You make one person responsible for tracking chain of custody- in each department. Like the V.A for instance. One person follows the money trail….and answers for it.

Not HOLDS it. COMMON Sense. Don’t complicate it.

        • HumanBeing

I see no practical difference between “make” and “put”. And the VA is not the best example, to put it mildly. They are knee-deep in scandal right now, for things that have gone on for decades. It is a glaring exhibit of why government cannot be allowed to run anything but national defense, esp. healthcare, which the VA failed miserably at. Nobody has been held accountable in spite of rules, because corrupt people don’t follow rules.

What I’m saying is very simple; it is the government bureuacracy that complicates everything it touches.

        • CrowPie

That’s the very reason I USED them FOR the example.

They should be the first one for an overhaul. I ran a very efficient Tax prep corporation with many franchise offices. Under my supervision we had a check system that involved every return being error proofed 3 times before it left my offices.

Same for my booking services. It can be done, and done well.

This was all before computers BTW.

        • CrowPie

BTW…I was MADE responsible for tracking lots of peoples money….but it never entered my hands. There IS a difference.

        • HumanBeing

          CrowPie,

If you know that the VA is an example of government bureaucracy and corruption, there is no reason to trust government at all. I didn’t say that it couldn’t be done, but that it won’t. Look at the track record of every government that ever was; it is a long string of failure. What smaller entities do is irrelevant when the question is what government should do or how big it should be. There is simply no reason, using common sense, to ever give government more than ensuring the safety of the nation’s borders.

And again, it matters not whether a government agency physically touches anything. What matters is who has control. The fact remains that centralization has a long history of failure and corruption.

        • CrowPie

You’ve missed my point entirely. Or, you are avoiding the point. We should demand that Accountability and common sense be once again part of our government entity. Not just our civilian life. If gaming the system gets a person prosecuted in civilian life….then it should get someone prosecuted in government.

The only thing that happens these days is “early retirement.” This MUST change no matter how big or how SMALL our government may be.

        • HumanBeing

I think you’ve entirely missed my point as well, though I won’t stoop to insinuating that you’re doing so deliberately.

Demanding accountability is all well and good, but that hasn’t worked either. Existing laws are ignored on a daily basis, including very clear laws in our constitution. Demands and laws are meaningless to the corrupt, and I see no precident in human history to hope that this will change. Common sense cannot be legislated or demanded.

Your idealism is commendable, but impractical. The best solution, in my opinion, is to give as little authority and power to government as possible.

        • CrowPie

I agree. Government should have little or no authority. As almost any employee in any business should be treated. They should have JOBS. And when they fail to meet those requirements within……lose those jobs.

Lots of MORAL, qualified, and eager citizens are waiting……..

And your right. Morality cannot be mandated. But it can be hired, and immorality….FIRED.

I find it strange that business people everywhere control this well, within their own companies. And then behave as if it is an IMPOSSIBILITY to expect it within our own collective business…which is our government.

It’s relatively simple. Fire them and prosecute them when you find them. Starting NOW.

    • rustywhite

And I will make a ton from the falling market and will be able to have the cash (not gold or silver) to buy things very cheaply. What is wrong with that?

All this turmoil that has been talked about for years might just be a blessing in disguise.

What if all that is happening is gods plan?….Do you really want to change it?

I heard a quote the other day that was interesting.

What if you could have all your wishes/desires/wants fulfilled. Stop world hunger, no more disease, everyone is healthy, everyone is wealthy and happy. No more polluting the earth, no more killing of animals, everyone raises their own organic food. No more wars.

What in the world would you have left to do? You would go absolutely bonkers…..

It was a pretty interesting take on things.

      peace
