This Good News’ that is Preached just before the End of Age

Jesus Christ, just before his ascension into Heaven, commissioned his disciples to teach people to obey what he commanded them (Mt. 28:19-20). For the last 2000 years, this Gospel that we received through the apostles, was preached throughout the world for the repentance of all peoples. But a prophecy of Jesus Christ written in Matthew 24:14 goes like this:

And this Good News of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world, as a testimony to all the nations; and then the End will come (Mt. 24:14).

This means, once the Good News mentioned here is preached throughout the world, the End of age will take place. A Gospel has been preached in the world until now, but the End did not come. Then which is ‘this Good News’ mentioned in Matthew chapter 24:14?. ‘This Good News of the Kingdom’ is the preaching about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the End of Age and the Day of the Lord’s vengeance and the establishment of the Kingdom of God. Which is this Kingdom? It is the Kingdom of God that comes down with power and visible signs (Mk. 9:1). 

Jesus Christ comes again to punish the sinners and to make the earth desolate and to save those who are eagerly waiting for him (Is. 13:9, Heb. 9:28). The Holy Spirit declared through Peter that there is a Salvation prepared to be revealed by God only in the End Time and a Grace that the children of God will receive only in the glorious manifestation of Jesus Christ (1 Pet. 1:5, 13). Therefore, as far the Children of God are concerned, this Good News is about the eternal salvation that the Son of God gives in his Second Coming.

Mt. 24:14 states that ‘this Good News of the Kingdom’ will be preached throughout the world. The Word of God assures us that all who receive the Son of God in his Second Coming and those who believe in his Name will be given the power to become the children of God (Jn. 1:12). If we are to believe in the Son of God who comes again, someone must preach about him and his coming to this world. If one is to preach about him, that person must be sent by God, because faith comes only from hearing about him (Rom. 10:14-17). The Word of God declares that the Lord God does nothing without first revealing His secrets to His servants, the prophets (Amos. 3:7). So, ‘this Good News’ mentioned in Mt. 24:14 is the preaching by this Messenger of God about ‘this End time Salvation’.

It is part of the righteousness of God that ‘this Good News’ be preached throughout the world as a testimony for all people. God will punish and destroy this world only after giving clear and timely warning to all because God is Righteous. So ‘this Good News’ is a trumpet call for the Children of God to return to God (Is. 1:2-3).

Behold, ‘this Good News of the Kingdom’ that echoes in this world in the End time, is being preached NOW. Those who have received the gift of discernment from God can discern whether this teaching is from God or not. God gives this gift only to those who have the heart to do the Will of God (Jn. 7:16-17). ‘This Good News’ is being preached only for those who have ears to listen!
