Trumpet Call to Return to God!
God commanded His Children to subdue Satan who deceived them and snatched away all the prosperity, glory, power, wealth and eternity that God had given them and who now exerts suzerainty over this earth (Gen. 1:28). It is the holy Will of God that His children should live with Him, holy and blameless in love forever (Eph. 1:4). The true citizenship of the Children of God is in Heaven (Phil. 3:20); they are strangers and foreigners on this earth (Heb. 11:13); Jesus Christ has prepared dwelling places for them in the House of God the Father (Jn. 14:1-3).
The End of time is the time to return. The time when Jesus Christ comes again to this earth is the time to return. The time when the Good News about the Glorious Manifestation of Jesus Christ, the Coming Kingdom of God, the Last Judgment, the End of age and the Salvation prepared to be revealed in the End Times is preached is the time to return. The time when God the Father gathers His Children through ‘this Good News the Kingdom’ (Mt. 24:14) is the time to return.
But Satan has captivated this world with a diabolic spell of a carnal-consumeristic culture (Babel Culture) in order to chain down the children of God in the desires and systems of this world. He has done this so that they do not know about, seek and desire their real Home with God. So people scoff at God and His Words and like horses plunging headlong into battle go their own way and thus have gone very far away from God (Is. 1:4, Jer. 8:6).
Even though God, through various signs and messages, has made it clear that it is time to return to Him, people stubbornly refuse to seek their true home and to return to God. Even though all the other creation in this universe return to their master at the appointed time, the People of God do not know the Commandment of God because, they have lost true Wisdom. If they had Wisdom, they would have known the time and the way to return (Ecc. 8:5). God the Father laments seeing this (Is. 1:2-3, Jer. 8:7).
Behold, the Last Trumpet Call that exhorts the people of God to give up their desires of the flesh, the desires of the world, evils and abominations and return to God is echoing NOW! The Good News that is being preached now is the Last and Final Call to return! The Son of God comes like a refiner’s fire and like fuller’s soap when he comes for the Last Judgment. The Good News is being preached now for the Children of God before this Judgment takes place (Mal. 3:1-2). God will destroy everything (Is. 13:9, 2 Pet. 3:10) only after making this Call to Return reach all people in the world. This is the ‘Good News of this Kingdom’ that Jesus Christ prophesied would be proclaimed throughout the world as a testimony for all people (Mt. 24:14).
God is giving us this warning through this Good News before He unleashes the Sword that is going to befall everyone at the End of Age (Lk. 21:35). This is the last chance that God gives us!
While God has overlooked the times of human ignorance, ‘now’ He commands all people everywhere to repent. (Acts 17:30)
Come now, let us reconcile, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be like snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall enjoy prosperity; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken. (Is. 1:18-20)

Nothing in the Bible is related to any myth. And it’s completely irrelevant whether there are extra-Biblical rapture versions.
There are only a few reasons that I can see that someone would flat out deny what the bible clearly teaches – a pre-trib rapture. I will try to list them as I have thought long and hard about why anyone who claims to be a bible believer would deny it’s teaching.
1. they don’t know the bible and what it teaches
2. they think that they will, in the end, have an opportunity to show their own strength
3. they are unsaved hypocrites
4. they believe that since God has allowed so many to suffer historically, we will have to suffer too (but they don’t understand that suffering tribulation on earth is completely different than suffering the pouring out of God’s wrath upon the earth) or
5. they want TIME and WARNING to get right with Jesus Christ and a post tribulation rapture would allow them to know when He is coming. i.e. they want to live like the world until the last minute. They deny His return being imminent.
I don’t know about them because the minute I was saved, I wanted to be with Jesus Christ. I want to be with Him RIGHT NOW. I want to see Him RIGHT NOW! That is the hope I share with my saved brothers and sisters! It is the “Blessed Hope” and the comfort that we are to share with one another. Paul said, “comfort one another with these words.”
What comfort is there in knowing that we are going to suffer in a world in which God is pouring out His wrath? Don’t these post-trib people read the bible to see what kind of world it’s going to be? Read Isaiah 24 or Revelation 8 and 9. Do you really want to go through that? VERY FEW will survive those days and BILLIONS WILL DIE.
There will be so many ways to die that if a post-trib rapture were true, most Christians would opt to go and be with Jesus Christ simply by not running from the bullets that are flying from every direction or simply LETTING them kill you. Why would a Christian try to survive the Great Tribulation? If Jesus doesn’t save us from His wrath before the tribulation, don’t you think we who KNOW we are saved and where we are going when we die won’t just ALLOW OURSELVES TO DIE and be with Jesus instead of trying to survive???? THAT is the ironic stupidity of a post trib rapture!!! There wouldn’t be any need for a rapture after the tribulation because most of us will already be there!!!
ONLY those who love their lives in this world will try to survive! That is the main reason I believe that many who think that there is no pre tribulation rapture aren’t even truly saved! Many are “works” Christians who try to work their way into the Grace of God and they think that the tribulation is the final “test” of their faith! That is why most are very critical of we who believe in the pre trib rapture and they always go on about us “losing our faith” when we find ourselves in the tribulation.

You can just think of these as ripples or footprints in surrounding cultures that show that something passed by. Like the ubiquitous legends of the flood. Or the 1000 years following death of the legend of Er.

Meidan, the order of written documents is irrelevant to the order of ideas. It is just as likely, and moreso in my opinion, that all the religions distorted the original truth, but the Bible restored it. And the farther back in the past you go, the less clear and reliable are the documents, so there is no absolute proof of who borrowed from whom.

Of course, they’ll say that the endurance they’re talking about is spiritual. Yet as you explained, Christians have always had to be willing to die for the faith, and if anything, the events of the Trib. would strengthen it since we’re seeing Bible prophecy unfold.
But as I’ve told them many times, there is an almost supernatural hatred for anyone who believes Jesus will Rapture us… not because we’re so strong or faultless, but because Jesus is. They rely on their own strength, while we know our only endurance is found in Jesus. They call us demonic, stupid, blind, deaf, and cowardly, even dangerous, because we take Jesus at His word to take us to be with Him, rather than the other way around.
No other prophecy view gets this kind of hatred, and I think that indicates something very important.
