SUN day is a day devoted to worshipping the SUN, and the god symbolically represented by the SUN. Astrology is the worship of the sun, the moon, and the stars, and the gods symbolically associated with them. Strictly forbidden in the ten commandments. Jesus gave out two other commandments that were in complete support of the “original” ten commandments and the meanings therein.
1. “You shall have no other gods before me.”
2. “You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down ro them or serve them; for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.”

The two commandments shown in the previous post are the first two commandments of the ten commandments. Didn’t mean to confuse anyone.
The two commandments given by Christ can be found in the New Testament. Basically they reinforced the first two commandments of the ten commandments.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind: and your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27,RSV,1952)
As to keeping the “Sabbath” day, this day was first observed before the Israelites had even gotten to Mount Sinai, and the ten commandments were spoken to Moses by God. After the Israelites had received a double amount of “manna” on the sixth day of their journey to Mount Sinai Moses said, “This is that which the Lord has spoken, To-morrow is a solemn rest, a holy sabbath unto the Lord; bake that which ye will bake,…and all that remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.” (Hebrew records EX. xvi. 23)
The Sabbath day is the day that was declared holy after the Israelites had been traveling six days in the “…wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai…”! This is the Sabbath day, not SUNday!

It seems that you have failed to notice that Christians are not under the Abrahamic covenant or Mosaic laws (10 commandments included).
According to “A Dictionary of the Bible”, first edition copywrited in 1898, and the copy I have printed in 1939, “…any period of time which was kept as a Sabbath could be called a Sabbath.” (page 665). No one particular time period is exempt from being called a Sabbath, be it an hour, be it a day, a month, or even a year. The “day” that the Israelites became free from the rule of the Egyptians was their “Sabbath Day”. It was NOT a particular day of the week or a day when labor was suspended, as in “Labor Day”. When one enters “God’s rest”, that is becomes a child of God through acknowledgement of Jesus as The Christ, this moment in time can be considered a “Sabbath”.

You’re wrong. Christ himself said, “Why do you ask me about what is good? One there is who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.” Matthew 19:17, RSV,1952
Christ’s additional commandments emphasize adherence to the original ten commandments, basically they are have no other god’s, do not make graven images or images of anything in heaven, on earth, or in the waters, do not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, keep the Sabbath, honor your father and mother, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not covet anything that is your neighbors.

You are confusing the groups of people involved. The Israelites were a group of polytheistic Egyptians living in Judea c1’100 BCE to 70 CE. R.I.P.

Nope, I’m saying all four monotheistic religions are the invention of politics. All of them began life as state enforced thought and belief intolerant dictatorships. The Christian bible didn’t exist until the 6th century CE and not finalised until the 10th century CE. The worlds first mono deity based state enforced thought and belief intolerant dictatorship was invented by the Egyptian Pharaoh Amenhotep IV, called Atenism.

Spot the spin anyone? Christians are blind when it comes to the aggressive military occupation of PALESTINE by European WW2 refugees. Hamas is the legally elected government of PALESTINE. But you are correct in that people can only admire Hamas and their handling of their children being bludgeoned to death by psychotic mass murderers who will stop at nothing including using war crime phosphorous on one of the most densely populated area in the world. It’s a war on Palestinian babies and little children a genocide.

These are all typical PR comments and methods of the state calling themselves Israel.
1. We haven’t heard reports of deaths, we’ll check into it.
2. The people were killed, but by a faulty Palestinian rocket/bomb.
