Those of you reading your Bibles know that all the big showdowns happen at Jerusalem. The big battles, as well as big covenants happened there.
When it’s all over, Satan will have been defeated by God – three times at Jerusalem. Satan was defeated first, on the cross of our Lord – at Jerusalem. Satan will be defeated, when Jesus returns – at Jerusalem. And, Satan will be defeated a third and final time, at the very end of the Millennium – at Jerusalem.
And, two great covenants were made there. The covenant between Abraham’s children and God, was made – at Jerusalem. The covenant between ourselves and God, was made – at Jerusalem.

Furthermore, God has spoken of how much He loves that tiny place. He said that He loved the gates of Jerusalem, more than any other (Psalm 87). He made His name to dwell there (Deuteronomy 12). He spoke of how – during the Millennium – Jesus would rule and reign for a thousand years, from there (Zechariah 14:16-21).
Of course, Satan always tries to inject himself into what God is doing and corrupt it. He corrupted God’s creation at the Garden of Eden, when he convinced Adam, via Eve, to eat of the forbidden fruit. He corrupted the covenant made with Abraham, by convincing Israel to become idolators. And likewise, we see Satan corrupting the Body of Christ, by convincing us to follow lies and heresies.
Why We Are In The Last Days
In fact, I believe that it is these lies and heresies that are the chief reason why we are in the Last Days. We have turned our back on God, so God has removed His hand of protection from us – giving Satan free reign, to do with us as he pleases (1 Corinthians 5:5). And, just as the idolatry of the Jews caused God to turn from her to the Gentiles, our idolatry has caused God to turn from us, back to the Jews.
The marker for this was the capture of Jerusalem, by the Jews, on June 7th, 1967. It marks the single most important event since our Lord rose from the grave. It was – and is – the signpost for the Last Days. Unfortunately, Satan has yet again inserted himself into the picture, subverting God’s clear warning – so that you will be unprepared for what comes.
Satanic Messages
It truly grieves me to see precious brothers and sisters in Christ, taking heed to Satanic messages that would keep you from understanding what comes. One message would try to convince you that God will whisk you away from any trouble that is coming. The other is that Jerusalem is not a sign, and that the return of Israel to her land is nothing. Both of these messages from Satan have found fertile ground in hearts and minds that have already been turned towards the pleasures of this world.
We Must Repent
We have lost our way, and we must repent – for judgment has been decreed against us. If there is to be any hope of escaping what comes:
- We must open our eyes
- Turn away from our sin
- Ask God to forgive us
- Walk with the Lord in obedience
We may not escape the consequences of our sin, but we must start now, to return to God. Eternity lies before us, and the loss of reward is a terrible price to pay for the temporary pleasures of this life.
Life is short.
Eternity is long.
Choose well.

Worse, we have lying liars who cloak themselves in righteous robes and tell us tall tales, so it’s hard to know WHAT to believe – and from whom to believe it. This age of lies and deception, has made it difficult to follow the Lord’s command in Luke 21:36, to watch.
Sometimes, the only thing that you can do is present the observation, indicate the uncertainty, and allow the hearer to be the judge.
So, that’s what I’ll do.

TUESDAY – It was All Over in 1967

No one likes to be told that they are no longer the focus – that their time has passed. Think of all the has-been rock stars that make come-back attempts – or, the empires that make last-ditch efforts to rekindle what once was.
But, when God says it’s over…
…it’s over.
And, when you say the words Last Days, that really is what you are saying. It’s over, and it’s time for the final scene. And, when I look back over the events that brought us to this point in time, I see that 1967 really was that moment in time, when The End began.

WEDNESDAY – Why Jerusalem?

Having lived there for fifteen years, I consider Jerusalem to be home. There is no place on Earth that I would rather be, and I would be there now, if I could.
But, I don’t really understand why.
There are more beautiful places. More pleasant places. There are certainly easier places. But, there are no places like Jerusalem. And, God has His focus on Jerusalem.
And, I don’t understand that, either.
Why would God consider Jerusalem, above any other place on Earth?
I don’t know, and no one else does, either. Really. No one knows, and the ones who think they know, are by definition, wrong.

THURSDAY – God and Satan at Jerusalem

The thing that hurts the more than anything else, is seeing brothers and sisters in Christ preach the message of Satan. It’s like a knife in the heart, to read and hear Satanic error being preached from pulpits and spread on websites.
Yes, we do get things wrong, and I’ve been guilty of this, myself, but there’s a difference between errors of interpretation and outright opposition to God. And, the name Satan literally means, adversary – or, the one who opposes.
And, it has become clear to me, that Jerusalem has become a lightning rod in the hearts and minds of those among us, who have chosen to oppose God.

One of many threads that run through the past 70 years of history, is Jerusalem. The world has been desperate to control her, and failed – every time. The Vatican tried to lay claim, and failed. Jordan tried to keep her, and failed. Just after her capture by Israel, some Israelis tried to give her away, and failed. Almost every American president since then, attempted to wrest Jerusalem away, and failed. The Palestinians made it the cornerstone of their aspirations, and failed.
To burden yourself with Jerusalem, is to invite utter failure.
I lived there for quite a while and watched a lot of this in real-time, and would have been completely mystified – except that the Bible foretold all of this.

You could have picked a host of dates all the way back to the middle of the 1800s.
But, we have a moment in time with a firm date attached.
Jesus said that when Jerusalem was no longer controlled by the Gentiles, the times of the Gentiles were over.
I don’t understand why you have a problem with this. It’s really very straightforward.

I am fully informed of the parable of the fig tree, but I refuse to twist the Bible to make it say what it does not.
Yes, 1948 was significant, as was 1929, 1956, 1850, etc. but Jesus was NOT referring to them.
I struggle to understand why Christians refuse to acknowledge Luke 21:24. I just have to mention it, and everyone is quick to point to something else.
What is it about Jerusalem that scares you so much?
Do you hate the fact that God has turned toward the Jews, so much that you are willing to reject the words of our Lord and Savior?

So, let’s throw out all the parts of the Bible that talk about how the Jews will return to God in the Last days.
That means you would have to throw out more than 54 chapters – as well as all passages where Paul speaks of the return of the Jews.
That is a HUGE chunk of the 28% of the Bible that deals with prophecy.
No Christian would actually want to delete so many chapters out of the Bible, so I’m left wondering…

In Ezekiel 36:17-38, God clearly says after He scattered the nation of Israel into the Gentile lands, that He would bring Israel back again into her own land. Also, if you read carefully, Israel is still in a state of unbelief at this time. God shall cause them to see.
Ezekiel 37:21-28 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

It is not an argument — I have found, as a few others have, when ‘ALL” the scriptures are put together only certain nations, so called christian nations, can be seen to have fulfilled in them the promises and contracts given by God to the patriarchs. These contracts and promises are UNCONDITIONAL, God must perform them. They are not conditional on obedience or on any action on the part of the patriarchs.
The Lost 10 Tribes are not lost, God knows exactly where each and every single of member of each tribe is at this moment. If He knows when a sparrow fall you think He does not know where HIS chosen people are at this moment?
