Lucy: Lucifer, Gnosticism, Alchemy and the Philosopher's Stone

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Lucy is a modern retelling of the Garden story with the typical Gnostic twist (explained further down) that the Serpent has seduced mankind with since the fall. Of course the movie comes at a perfect time where technology is approaching an apex of human transcendentalism, or transhumanism, that is being inundated into the hearts of the spiritually dead, existential and/or gullible materialists that blanket the world today. And the majority of the ones that do have the least concept of theology, especially in the case of professing Christians, are really just seduced and indoctrinated with “self-realization” when considering the God they say they serve is truly a projection of their own self, and it is no wonder considering this is what is being pushed on the world in all sorts of hedonistic, self-deifying avenues. It is all a set up for man to abandon the absolute truths of the Bible, accept the apostatizing lie that “divinity is within,” that evolution has stopped, but we have the capability within to take that next step ourselves and ultimately “become as gods.”

The main idea of this movie pushed on the viewer is that knowledge is power. I wouldn’t be able to count the amount of scenes and simple lines concluding this idea. Obviously in most cases knowledge is good, though it can be detrimental. From a biblical perspective, knowledge can puff up, lead to pride and also vexation of the spirit (Ecc 1:12-18; 1 Cor 8), but can also lead to discernment, proper wisdom and good testimony (2 Tim 2:15; Acts 17:11; 1 Pet 3:15). In this movie however, we will see that the “pursuit of knowledge” programmed into the viewer is not just some reading rainbow knowledge is cool kind of stuff, but is in actuality a seduction for mankind to collectively pursue immortality and godhood.

Before I watched it I heard a ton of bad reviews purely based on the entertainment and story-line value, but I still wanted to watch it for discernment reasons considering every blockbuster movie today is loaded with overwhelming propaganda for some purpose or another, and I have a particular interest in the “science fiction” genre because I do not particularly believe in “science fiction” or at least the concept of it anymore; man is conquering his imagination–Genesis 11:5-7 archetyped this, today’s reality is revealing it. Yes, the movie sucked and Scar-Jo annoyed the heck out of me with her monotonous and morose cyborgish demeanor. Nonetheless, I wasn’t surprised at all with the heavy laden Gnostic propaganda, “Gnosis/knowledge is power” or as is always the case with Luciferian Gnosticism, “knowledge leads to God-hood,” of which Lucy’s conclusion is definitely not short of this realization of reaching deification.

The movie presents an intertwined story of evolution and Gnosticism, kind of like a billion other blockbuster movies coming out these days. According to the Darwinian evolutionists man evolved from monkeys and the first “hominid skeleton” discovered, which was just a dadgum ape, was given the name Lucy (the film starts with this allusion to “Lucy the Hominid” with a scene of her drinking water from a river, will come back to this below). So it is no coincide that the first human, which it will be revealed in a minute why it was a woman, to transcend humanity is named Lucy. In confusion, the early Christian Gnostics (which obviously this view was nothing new) believed that the flesh, the human body, was a hindrance, it was loathsome and something that needed to be shed or diverted from and only the spiritual, or enlightenment through spiritualistic ritual, was to be sought and attained. We know God is not a Gnostic God however because he created the human body as a temple for His Spirit to dwell in for those who would repent and place their faith in Christ. So the fact that Lucy ultimately leaves the flesh behind and becomes omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient in the film is a blatant symbol of this Gnosticism. Even more, her closing remarks were that man was created to have this knowledge and awareness, another clear notion that “man can become god.”

Depiction of man taking “evolution” in to his own hands
Back to the evolution aspect. Morgan Freeman presents his theory that evolution has stopped and man is stuck with the capacity to use only 10% of his brain. His solution is that through the accumulation and “passing down” of knowledge (of which the concept is bombarded in to your subconscious through multiple avenues) will eventually lead man to move past this barrier; which if you have spent any time looking in to the occult and today’s Gnostic and/or alchemical mystery schools you will know that this is what their delusional pursuit of becoming god/immortality is allllll about–in this case an advanced archaic “secret knowledge” that has been lost, yet only to be rediscovered and lead mankind toward “Heaven on Earth.” Freeman also theorizes that man does not have to find a way to reach 100% capacity of his brain, but if he would only find a minuscule way to make it to 20% usage, neural pathways that were previously unlocked would open up and begin to automatically fire and unlock other doors and pathways to exponentially find it’s own way on to the 100% enlightenment. I believe this to be a subtle shot at the “Technological Singularity” where man will reach a point in technological development, perhaps “that one critical earth-shattering discovery,” of which I believe to be VERY soon. where intelligence, particularly artificial, would skyrocket on the Y axis and literally ANYTHING would be possible–where the technological Gnostics, and simply secularists for the most part, view this to be the key to paradise, the Christian should view as the opening of Pandora’s Box. At an early point in Lucy’s revelation and “universal awareness” she contacts Freeman to ask what she should do with her revelations and he tells her, “life has always passed on information to life (paraphrase)…so you should pass it on.” She let’s him know that his 20% theory was correct, but that she needs more of the substance to keep her alive while she reaches that 100%…more parallels to the whole “accumulation of knowledge” conundrum.

So why a woman? And why are all these hit movies today portraying the woman to be the “savior” or the liberator of man? This goes back to the Garden story and the Gnostic twist that Lucifer indoctrinates his initiates with, and pretty much the world for that matter. God created man and “saw that it was good,” and man has always been tempted, as we saw in the garden which lead to the fall, that God is sadistic and vindictive, that he lied, and the Luciferian schools basically believe that Lucifer is the one who set us free by telling us to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. That WE can become as gods! This is the origin of the pure Gnosticism and pantheistic monism that is at work today, that the God of the Universe, our Creator and Sustainer, hindered man, held him captive; and Lucifer, the light-bearer, the “illuminated one” has the solution, he set us free. He gave Eve the knowledge, the illumination. And in all ancient mythologies, that are still glorified in many modern ways, the goddess represents the enlightened “Eve,” the Serpent is the Light-bearer (Lucifer = “bringer of light,” brilliant light, light-bearer) that gives man the knowledge to become his own god and in some part of the myth the archetype of a vindictive God, usually a bull, is slain or defeated! The Gnostic Eve is the goddess that is worshiped because she made the way for us to be illuminated by the “Angel of Light,” which makes her the “conduit” or the “mediator” in all pagan mythology and many modern religions today, including the idolatrously venerated as co-redemptrix and mediator the Mother Mary, “Holy Virgin” of Roman Catholicism.

So the movie runs through the story of Lucy (the fact that Lucy sounds brief for Lucifer is absolutely noteworthy) who receives the drug (the forbidden fruit) and…Read the rest here.

You mean ‘some’ rather than “the least”, and all 1st year theology students study the historical context of their religion, so know for an absolute fact the origins of their religious dogma is pagan in origin. Remember that the next time one of them tells you the Christian story time line is fact. They are knowingly telling you lies so they can keep their soft little earner making a living off the backs of other peoples belief.
