Wyoming and North Dakota top Best Run States in America Survey

They are  the best run states in the nation. Wyoming made number two  and North Dakota number one on the list of states in a recent survey on the best and worst run states in America. While the worst run state in the nation is Illinois, listed on the 24/7 Wall St. survey.  More people left Illinois than moved there.  Illinois Debt per capita is the 11th highest and their unemployment rate is the 3rd highest at 9.2%.

The financials were from the 2013 fiscal year; which provided data on revenue, tax collection, pension funding, debt, and expenditure; according to 24/7 Wall St. But if this was not enough, they also looked at the basics of what makes a society fit to live in. Things like poverty rate, educational attainment, violent crime rates, and foreclosures. 24/7 said these factors enabled them to assess social outcomes and resident’s well being.  There is no doubt that citizens who are employed, living in reasonable housing, able to pay their bills, raise their families, and not have to worry about violent crime makes for an atmosphere conducive of happy family living.

It is surprisingly ironic that one of President Obama’s goal was to curb carbon output and shut down the carbon industries.  It is precisely that which pushed America’s economic growth. Under a man who vowed to shutter the carbon industry and oil, it is this which has created growth economically under his administration. Already four Wyoming Power plants are headed for a shutdown by 2030 due to the new Obama EPA on carbon dioxide emissions.

Below is an excerpt of Obama revealing his goal to bankrupt the Coal industry.  They can build it, but it will bankrupt them, a mantra of Obama’s has not stopped. His current regulations are ongoing and the attempt to stop Carbon is a goal of his since running for Office in his first election.

President Obama has intent here to follow through with what he views as a threat, that is Carbon Pollution. His goal is to curb emissions, even if it means to shut down viable coal production and the plants that use them.  The  New York times stated:

In his State of the Union address, Mr. Obama declared his intent to use his authority under the Clean Air Act and a 2007 Supreme Court decision to issue new regulations to curb carbon pollution. He is pressing forward as quickly as possible.

Mr. Obama has ordered the E.P.A. to issue by June 1 the draft of a regulation that will set a national standard for carbon pollution. Early indications are that the regulation will direct states to create and carry out their own plans for meeting the standard…via NYTIMES

If the current administration succeeds in shutting down the coal, oil, and gas industry, then the economic survival of many would be in jeopardy. The economy in America has made a comeback because of the Coal, oil, and gas in states like Wyoming and North Dakoata. More specifically, the oil production has pushed America into a major producer on the world markets.  If our congressmen, and our Governor do not do something to stop the Obama administration and others like him, then kiss your Coal and Oil goodbye.
