2015 is neither the End of the world nor the start of the Tribulation
Prophecy wise 2015 may prove to be a very interesting year.
But it’s not going to be the end of the world, nor the start of the 3 year tribulation period as some want to have it. So you can relax for a while and just look at what was written many many years ago.
Possibly the oldest prophecy we have is that of Enoch, the seventh from Adam, who was told about ten periods of time for earth. Now some will discard all that as rubbish, but since Enoch’s writings were generally known in old Testament times as well as amongst the early Believers and followers of Jesus the son of God, I believe we can take his prophecies as authentic.
According to Enoch then, earth will keep on turning for many time periods after the ten he was told more about. Since that fact is repeated in the book of Revelation, we can rely on and trust the testimony of two witnesses.
Now some will come and argue about the weeks in Enoch’s writings. After all these centuries, we have no way of knowing exactly how the first humans counted off time. We do know that time was counted in multiples of seven, however. I took Enoch’s week as being 980 years and amazingly enough, known historic events then correlate with what he wrote concerning the weeks. In order to keep this article to a reasonable size, I won’t go into all those details now.
According to that calculation we now are at the end of Enoch’s ninth week about which he wrote:
| And after that, in the ninth week, the righteous judgement shall be revealed to the whole world, |
| And all the works of the godless shall vanish from all the earth, |
| And the world shall be written down for destruction. |
Historic events of the last century (2 world wars, Hiroshima+ Nagasaki, Chernobyl, Fukushima etc) prove Enoch’s prophecy to be correct. The population of the world is literally written down for destruction on the Georgia Guide Stones.
Then there is the book of Esther in the bible. Therein the Isrealites are given two dates to remember, the 14th and 15th day of Adar. Here you can read more about that book and why I see it as a prophetic book.The Georgia Guide Stones, recently updated to 2014, are physical proof of the fact that the population of the world is now in the same position as the Jews of Esther’s time were in. 95% of the worlds population is written down for destruction on those stone tablets.
You can now argue that it is far fetched to associate the dates in the book of Esther with 2014 and 2015. But is it really so far fetched? What about the lunar tetrads falling on Jewish holy days in the years 2014 and 2015? Ain’t that too much of a coincidence to just shrug off?
So why do I tell you all this? For me it is proof that the Creator of this earth, by whose spirit people of previous times foretold what would happen, still is in full control of His creation, even if people tend to deny Him. 2015 won’t be the end of the world, at the most the end of the works of the godless, as Enoch foretold.

@Jardalkal It always is amazing to see how people forget that Creator time differs vastly from human time. The Day of the Lord cannot be pinned to a specific date, like you do here. It spans over thousands of human years. The Seals, Trumpets and most of the Vials are written up in our history already. The 6th Vial is ongoing already and well documented.
Actually, you are wrong. Here’s why:
In the Books of Daniel and Revelation numerous ‘end time’ details are given. A few actually lock in the ‘end date’ quite well, to the point that either the Creator lied, or was just wrong, or well, the book is wrong. Take your pick. Either that, or if you assume the Bible is right, and the Creator won’t lie, then you have a hard-cap date that must be met. Agree with my logic so far? Ok, let’s look at the data:
You are told that in the end days, the ‘dry bones will rise alive again’. This is the allegory of Israel being reformed (generally accepted fact by most theologians). From the time this occurs, you are told, know that this generation shall not pass, lest ‘my words’ be completed. Ok, so God says that from the date of the return of Israel, that generation which sees it shall not pass before all the words recorded are finished (end prophecy contained in Revelation). Well, there are three ages of a generation recorded in the Bible. Originally, in Genesis, 120 years are given for a generation. Later, 100 years are given. In the New Testament, Jesus says ‘though the days of a man are 70 years, that he live another year let him know that I have not forgotten him or his time’. Ok, so final revision on a generation approved by Jesus was 70-years long. Ok, let’s ‘plug-and-play’ with this prophecy.
Israel was officially refounded on May 15, 1948. This was the first time since AD-70 that Israel had stood as a nation-state in the land where Jerusalem is. Now, count forward 70-years. This would be May 15, 2018. BUT WAIT, in Revelation, Jesus says that ‘all these things will be completed BEFORE that generation passes, so the date he returns is BEFORE May 15, 2018. That’s what HE SAID, not me, using his own numbers given.
Ok, so how do we get closer to a more ‘accurate’ date? Well, that answer resides in the OLD Testament, keyed to an ancient holy rite and holy day we no longer remember. Even Jews recently have been messing it all up with this ‘Shmita’ junk. There is NO WORD ‘Shmita’ in the Bible. There IS, however, a religious observance of Jubilee in the Bible, and you are told how to calculate it. Every 7-years shall be a Jubliee, a time of rest, reflection, worship and no work. You shall not work your slaves, your house servants, your animals or your fields during this time; and you will forgive all debts owed you. After the passing of 7 Jubilees (49 years), that 50th year shall be a GREAT JUBLIEE, which shall last the entire year. It is, in effect, a Sabbath Year (a Sabbath that lasts a full year).
The first recorded Great Jubilee after the Death of Jesus was in AD-67. Now, count forward by 50′s. You will find that the next Great Jubilee falls in the Gregorian Year 2017 (which Sept. 20-21 is the first day of that New Hebrew Year).
So, as the Great Jubilee is the equivalent of a Great Sabbath, it is most-unlikely that god would return and ‘work at judging’ everyone on a Sabbath, but that he would return prior to it – so that he could spend the Sabbath WITH his children, right?
This means that the last day before judgement must fall BEFORE May 15, 2018, should almost definitely fall on or before the day of September 20-21, 2017.
The interesting thing, is that if you look at this as the ‘proposed return date’, and look backward 3.5 years, you find that Russia invaded the Ukrane (Gog of Magog starts march south) during March 2014, as well as various other battles and wars. On a side note of question, also note that ‘Quantitative Easing 4′ was stopped in October 2014 (effective Nov. 1), which could most-likely be the ‘cessation of the daily sacrifice’ if taken as equivalence to Jesus running the lenders out of the Temple in his day, which was promised to occur only 1260 days prior to the total end.
Anyway, I think everyone is off on this 2015 Shmita thing, and yet again, it is going to lead many to not believe anything anymore. I personally think the date everyone is searching for is in the fall of 2017, and there’s more than enough Biblical dating to unequivocally say that it has to happen BY MAY 15, 2018, or the basis of MOST RELIGION is voided as a result of such a major index date failing, otherwise.

Strong out of the gate, Dustdevil. As usual. But the bullet-proof-sounding logic you purvey is often menaced by foundational instability. This case is no exception.
One will agree, because he must, that there are ‘hard key’ points in history that synch up with prophecy, but absent the perfectly fulfilled prophecy it is a fool’s errand to argue the nuances of ‘this’ or ‘that’ aspect of prophecy to any meaningful degree of certainty. You have nailed down the dry bones vision of Ezekiel and you presume to have settled upon the correct meaning. Let’s say you ARE correct about it, and that the vision truly does describe a ‘resurrection’ of Israel. And, Oh, Look!!! We have a present-day state in the Middle East calling itself Israel, so that must be the correct historical event with which to bind the prophetic vision!!!
But you see where my argument is leading, no doubt. If prophecy is true, and no lie; neither does the Creator lie, nor is He ever wrong…
…then what if that incendiary device otherwise known as the State of Israel is something other than what it pretends to be? And it must be, because the people living in that land have no right to the name Israel, even if they ARE who they pretend to be (which is another point entirely, albeit one inextricably linked with this).
So again, assuming the theologians and their generally accepted facts are even valid, and Ezekiel’s prophecy depicts the reformation of Israel, don’t think Ezekiel’s prophecy has yet come to fruition, Dustdevil. Because it hasn’t.
Dustdevil, my point is this: our history has evolved according to what was prophesied, proving the Creators control. The book of Revelation depicts the history of the last 2000 years, not that of 7 years, as some claim. The day of Judgment is not a day in human time reckoning, ie 24 hours. And it is not the end of the world as so many proclaim, only the end of the works of the godless.
The year 2015 is prominent in prophecy, now being highlighted by heavenly signs. Since we now have entered 2015, let’s approach it without fear, trusting Him who is in control and looking forward to a life without the godless works of war, destruction, fear mongering and slavery.
Since God cannot lie, and every prophecy that is not at this point in our future, has come to pass exactly how and when prophecied, then it must be you who lie.
I cannot give you a date for the end but I think that I can tell you that we are in the fifth seal. The first four seals were four types of spirits using men to manage earth. The four types of spirits of managing earth have happened. Next Revelation 6:11 says the souls must rest a little longer.
Revelation 6:9 And when He (the Lamb) had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying , How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
As we see those murdered for their belief in Christ we see the count-down. (You may notice that the USA is not that important in end-times prophecy.)
Matt 24 Mark 13 luke 21 tell us that we are in the last generation, the generation of the fig tree. Jesus told us 3 times for emphasis. when the antichrist comes to earth at the 6th trump some people will know he is the fake Jesus a lot of people will think he is the real one Anti in the Greek means instead of.

The end of the world refers to the end of the PEOPLE opposing God, not the end of the Earth. Three year tribulation? You’ve got that wrong also.
Mike, trying to pick mistakes won’t bring you anywhere. I specifically state that it refers to the end of the people opposing God. And 3 or 7 years, as people say, both are incorrect interpretations. Get my point in my comment to Dustdevil.

You have to be kidding, Enoch claims to have walked and talked with God on Earth, in person. He claims God told him Earth is shaped like an oblong trunk, the sky is a solid barrier with holes to allow the light of the sun, moon and stars, and that God sits on the solid barrier sky lobbing stars down to Earth in divine retribution. Many stars are needed because they are so tiny.
OH hi Pixie, still at it I see. Well, Bin would not be Bin without you, so I’m glad to see you are still hanging around here. As to your comment, o well, our views differ, as usual. Did you really make the effort to read the book of Enoch? I can’t believe it.
