Religion….what is it really? Man’s feeble attempts at communicating ineffable concepts. Never turns out well.
Along with that comes human insecurities and an hereditary guilt complex…and you have the makings of religious violence…..”God is going to keep on punishing all of us, unless we can convert or kill all the infidels….and soon.”
This attitude completely absolves the acolyte from any responsibility for his own condition. Such is “religion”.
That’s easy to answer. Because separating yourself from the rest of humanity with egoistic notions of being better than all else, is an act of violence. Violence can only beget more violence.
