To listen to the Christians talk, the Battle against Evil has already been won ‘by Jesus’; their only responsibility being to ‘stand back and watch the show’, as Agent Smith says prior to his final confrontation with Neo near the end of Matrix Revolutions.

On the contrary, the Sons of Light are, and have always been, on what The Art of War refers to as “deadly ground”; one of those battles being the efforts of rational Israeli Jews:
