Yet not all of them are doing this! But Antiochus here is the one who attacks Jerusalem and Judea. But coming is the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet and mentioned by our Lord. Do not miss this types and shadows of the Anti-Christ.

You are completely missing the point of their gods. Just about everyone had gods, plural, they had protecting gods, healing gods, war gods, fertility gods, to name a few. The claim of one god being more powerful than other gods originates from warfare, where protecting gods were beaten by the war gods of the invaders.
