What can we expect the day after the ‘end of the world’? According to wiki, there have been183 end of the world predictions that have failed. Many of these were prophesied by religious zealots through fear propaganda.
Here are just a few of them:
In 1284, Pope Innocent III (d. 1216) predicted that the world would end 666 years after the rise of Islam. (do you see how long the divide and conquer principle has been going on?)
In 1658, Christopher Columbus claimed that the world was created in 5343 BCE, and would last 7000 years. Assuming no year zero, that means the end would come in 1658.
Mathematician Jacob Bernoulli predicted a comet would destroy the earth on April 5, 1719.
The newly formed Seventh Day Adventists, a group founded by former Millerites, predicted the Second Coming would be in 1874.
Mother Shipton, a 15th-century prophet, was quoted as saying “The world to an end shall come, In eighteen hundred and eighty one” in a book published in 1862. In 1873 it was revealed to be a forgery; however, this did not stop some people from expecting the end.
Camille Flammarion predicted that the 1910 appearance of Halley’s Comet might destroy life on Earth, but not the planet itself.
Evangelist Wilbur Glenn Voliva announced that “the world is going to go ‘puff’ and disappear in September, 1935.
On December 21, 1954, according to Dorothy Martin, the world was to be destroyed by terrible flooding on this date, claimed this leader of a UFO cult called Brotherhood of the Seven Rays.
Psychic Jeane Dixon predicted that on February 4, 1962, a planetary alignment was to bring destruction to the world.
George Van Tassel predicted the Apocalypse to occur on August 20, 1967, during which the southeastern US would be destroyed by a Soviet nuclear attack, according to this UFO prophet, who claimed to have channeled an alien named Ashtar.
Evangelist Pat Robertson predicted in 1976 that the end of the world was coming in October or November 1982.
José Argüelles claimed that Armageddon would take place on August 17, 1987 unless 144,000 people gathered in certain places in the world in order to “resonate in harmony” on this day.
Hal Lindsey suggested that the Rapture would take in 1987, reasoning that it was 40 years (one Biblical generation) after Israel gained statehood.
Louis Farrakhanm, the leader of the Nation of Islam, declared that the Gulf War would be the “War of Armageddon which is the final war.”
Harold Camping predicted the Rapture would occur on September 6, 1994. When it failed to occur he revised the date to September 29 and then to October 2 (and many more times afterwards).
California psychic Sheldon Nidle predicted that the world would end on December 17, 1996, with the arrival of 16 million space ships and a host of angels.
A prediction attributed to Nostradamus stating the “King of Terror” would come from the sky in “1999 and seven months” led to fears of the end.
Edgar Cayce predicted the Second Coming would occur in 2000.

The Nuwaubian Nation movement claimed that the planetary lineup would cause a “star holocaust,” pulling the planets toward the sun on May 5, 2000.
Nancy Lieder originally predicted the date for the Nibiru collision as May 2003. According to her website, aliens in the Zeta Reticuli star system told her through messages via a brain implant of a planet which would enter our solar system and cause a pole shift on earth that would destroy most of humanity.
Pat Robertson in his 1990 book The New Millennium, suggested April 29, 2007 as the day of Earth’s destruction.
José Luis de Jesús predicted that the world’s governments and economies would fail on June 30, 2012, and that he and his followers would undergo a transformation that would allow them to fly and walk through walls.
And most recently, a failed prediction of a planetary alignment was supposed to cause a 9.8 Earthquake in California on May 28, 2015.

YouTube user “tuddy pena” is telling the world that Nibiru will pass by in August of 2015. It will then loop around the sun and return past us again in September 2015.

The use of capital letters is as equally overdramatic as the fear-mongering titles of his videos, in my opinion.
The world as we know it WILL eventually end…
In time, the end of the world will arrive but it will not occur through end time prophecy. Sorry doomtards and religious zealots.
In time, one of two events will occur which will end life on this planet as we know it.
- The first scenario is that our sun will eventually go supernova and will engulf the earth.
- The second scenario involves our sister galaxy, Andromeda, as we are on a collision course with this galaxy, but this won’t happen for billions of years.
In both of these scenarios, it is possible (and likely) that we will have developed the technology to be able to live elsewhere, whether that is another planet that has life sustaining elements such as a breathable atmosphere and water, or in space stations.
Depending on when any given prophecy was made, chances are, the day after the end of the world prediction was made will not be much different than today.
Religious fear mongering
It seems many of the world leaders are eager to fulfill end time prophecies through Armageddon despite their constituents demanding world peace.
Other religious zealots expect the return of Jesus Christ. It is interesting to note that the letter “J” was not invented until the 1500’s, which means there was no one named Jesus, John, Jacob, Jeremiah, Job, Joseph, etc… Even if Jesus’ real name was Yeshua ben Yoseph, his translated name would be “Joshua, son of Jospeh”.
In astrotheology, Jesus is the “Sun” who dies on the (Southern Cross) for 3 days and is resurrected (when the sun begins moving in its progression towards to summer solstice).
So yes, Jesus (the Sun) will return as he returns every day to give us sunshine and life sustaining warmth. The physical “Jesus” however, will not. Jesus is some guy in Mexico.
Astrology and the end times
Astrologers tend to give the most valid information but they generally do not predict end time prophecy. Right now, Pluto is in Capricorn until the year 2023. The last time Pluto was in Capricorn was in 1776, the year of the American Revolution. Look around the world and you will see many revolutions going on right now.
Astrology teaches us that time (and events) are cyclic. Perhaps this was the message of the Maya? In defense of the Maya, there are no Maya on record who stated that December 21st, 2012 would be the end of the world.
The day after the end of the world
The day after the “end of the world” will not be much different than today with the exception of the transition of the incoming energies as we exit out of the Age of Pisces and enter into theAge of Aquarius. These energies will continue to bring whistleblowers out of the woodwork as more and more people with nefarious intentions are exposed while truth, harmony, compassion for one another and coexistence become the “norm”. We can expect the release of suppressed technologies that will make our current standard of living seem like the Stone Age.
They say that those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it. What has history taught us?
In the case of end time prophecy, we know of at least 183 failed predictions.
Here is the bottom line
As long as there is organized religion, there will be end time prophecy. These predictions will come and go and one should not buy into the fear propaganda that end time prophecy brings. Religion was created by man to control man and as we know, religion equals subservience, control and conformity… the same template as EVERY government. All governments rule through fear so don’t buy into the fear propaganda and enjoy each day by living in the NOW.

Common sense. End times is just mortality consciousness for the masses. We all got go sometime.

I’m a Christian that has been leaving lengthy, explanatory comments on “end-times” articles and videos in the, so far, futile attempt to show, from Scripture, that all end-time prophecies were fulfilled, as Jesus and the Apostles taught they would be, by the end of the first century. “Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place” (Mat. 24:34). Up until a year ago I was a believer that we were on the cusp of the great tribulation and the second-coming of Christ. But, every time I would read the Bible to verify what various authors and teachers were teaching, I found the events they were referring to were locked into a time-frame of first-century fulfillment. Then, by accident, I found a YT video with a title something like, Mystery Babylon Identified. I had read numerous works by scholars attempting to identify who “Mystery Babylon” was “going to be”, but never heard someone explain, from scripture, who Mystery Babylon WAS. Anyway, you are correct. But, the “end-times” DID happen, and Christ returned in the way He said He would. The church just hasn’t understood the nature and timing of His return. However, that is changing because God is unveiling the truth now, just when we need it most in the depths of end-time hysteria.

Where did you come by this? Yes they mistook the cleansing of the sanctuary in heaven for the earth.
But that was in 1844, they never made any predictions after they realized their mistake.
Ellen White did state that all “time” prophecies ended in 1844 at the end of the 2300 days.But said that no one knows the day or hour of Christ’s return.
Thw Jehovah Witnesses started out with the 1874 date and have changed it many times.

Wow, so many extra words when ‘all have failed’ would have been the only answer necessary.

The original Mother Shipton prophesies are quite interesting and amazingly accurate. But its easy to tell that later prophetic claims were not by the same person. Contemporary Mother Shipton writes that she expects to be burned as a witch, while the later claims she is a Christian. Of course there are always plenty of simple minded folks who believe every bit of BS going.
It’s no different today than at any other time since the invention of Catholicism in the 6th century CE, and before that by the many versions of pagan mystery cults it’s based on. All claim the world will end and so far all have failed.
Just before the turn of the 11th century tens of thousands of people flocked to the holy lands, believing it was the predicted end, it being 1’000 years since the Jesus story time line. Most sold everything they owned and gave the proceeds to the poor, living hand to mouth in tents waiting to be ‘saved’,.. ironically the only time Christians have practiced anything Jesus preached.

Now about the Sabbaths and how they are tied to Yeshua/Jesus. Matthew, Mark, Luke says the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath. Born in the Fall on either Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpet) or on the first Annual Sabbath of Feast of Tabernacles in 3 BCE. Messianics teach Feast of Tabernacles. King David was born and died on Pentecost. According to rabbinic tradition, Enoch was born and was raptured on Pentecost. The Church was born on Pentecost (Acts 2). Pentecost is known as “the festival without a date”—no man knows the day or hour! Jews believe that the “fruit of the trees” is judged on Pentecost. Hmm. The Judgment Seat of Christ? The Jews believe that on Pentecost the heavens open for a brief instant and that God answers prayer—perhaps in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye! The Dispensation of Law occured on Pentecost. The Noahic Covenant was given on Pentecost. Ruth, a Gentile bride, was chosen by Boaz, a type of Christ, on PENTECOST, bringing this Gentile bride into the Messianic lineage! Pentecost is the day the Jews as they say, stay up all night to “decorate the bride!” Why?
God married mankind on the first Pentecost in 1441 or 1446 BCE in a Shemitah year.

No one knows the day or the hour (Matthew 24:36) Day of Trumpet (Lev. 23:24ff) in verse 24:31. It can also refer to v. 35 because of the word “that” in verse 36 Heaven and earth shall pass away but of that day and hour no man knows. According to Torahcalendar.com that day is in the 7th month of 3015 on the first sliver of the new moon which is called Rosh Hashanah. The third view is that it refers to Day of Atonement because it is one day and one hour long. The fourth view is Pentecost is known as “the festival without a date”—no man knows the day or hour!

Elohim will restore Israel when He brings them into the blessings of the new covenant in the millennial kingdom (Ezek 11:19-20; Jer 31:31).
References to the Lord remembering His covenant occur only in relationship to the patriarchal covenants (Gen 9:15-16; Ex 2:24; 6:5; Lev 26:42, 45; Ps 105:8). The mention of Elohim remembering His covenant is contrasted with Jerusalem’s forgetting the terms of her relationship with Elohim (Ezk 16:22, 43). When this new relationship is established, the people will remember their ways and be ashamed. The everlasting covenant is the new covenant spoken of in Isa 59:21; 61:8; and Jer 31:31-34, but it should be viewed as closely related to the Abrahamic covenant. So if we use 2×980=1960 +70 (Temple destruction)=2030. 29 ce (Death of Christ) +1960=1989+33=2022. 27 CE (Ministry Start of Yeshua)+1960+33 (Death of Yeshua age)=2019. 27 CE+1960=1987. 1987 CE Sabbath year (Shmita שמיטה). 27 CE +1960+30 (Age of Yeshua at the start of His ministry) = 2017.

A generation can be 20, 40, 50, 70, 80, 100. To prove our case, we use most if not all of them.
At 10 years, we have this event if 2017 is the end. 2008 Sabbath year (Shmita שמיטה)CE Solar eclipse 1st day Abib; Dow Jones Industrial Average falls 777.7 points. Recession for America.
At 20 years, we have these events: 1997 CE Hale-Bopp Comet at Passover; Kyoto Protocol initially adopted Dec. 11/97 Kyoto, Japan, entered into force on 16 Feb. 2005.
1998 Modern Israel’s Jubilee.
At 40 years we have this event: 1978 CE Camp David Peace Accord include framework for comprehensive peace in the Middle East and proposal for Palestinian self-government; Israel withdraws from the Sinai peninsula; Egypt recognizes Israel; Sept 18.
What is so significant is that there is a high probability that this is the Second Coming and Armageddon because it fits the criteria of Lev. 25:8-10.

Hey, you never know, somebody might be right one day. Always instructive to read the past mistakes, though. A “this day in history” of doomsday prophecy BIN articles would be a hoot, I’m sure.
September 2015 was the crown jewel for the prophets and cult leaders. They made a lot of money in the past few years through the sales of their end of time horror story books, etc… by instilling fear in their believers. Now that nothing happened beyond the norm, you’ll be able to see the back pedalling and feeble explanations for why nothing happened on the stated dates. They claimed that the financial markets would collapse, and end of times would take place.
As usual… the followers will accept the explanations (no matter how bad they are)… and resume their life “again” filled with renewed “end of times fears”. There’s always something bad happening somewhere in the world so it’s pretty easy for the prophets to take advantage of that, and claim that God is again sending them more cryptic messages (signs). The Prophets will then “decode” the cryptic messages VIA ground breaking methods that God has passed onto them only, write books and then sell them to the eager followers in hopes that it will again become a best seller.
To name a few highlights for September 2015… the 13th (VIA Shemitah) they were predicting a global collapse of the financial markets “and” the end of times… Did you know that God actually likes playing the markets? He enjoys making the markets go up and down and watching the reactions that result. If this prophecy did not work… then the 27th would be the day, because the Blood Moon Eclipse would “trigger” the end… for sure this time! Prophets claimed that the Blood Moon Eclipse was another “Cryptic Sign” from God!
You must understand that God does not come straight out and tell you personably about disasters, etc… According to some believers, God likes to remain anonymous. Why? I don’t know, but it seems that he likes to hide from the people he’s created. He prefers to send signs that only his chosen can decipher. He also does not like writing books… so he delegates that to his chosen few (past and present). The rest of the “non believers”, “sinners”, “Satan’s Servants” and “ignorant idiots like me”, are purely here for entertainment.
There’s one thing certain about “what it takes to be a loyal follower (believer)”… its “fear”.
Instill fear in your followers and they’ll stay loyal and send you a lot of money. It works… because even the Mafia uses that tactic to keep their goons in line, and keep the cash flowing to the top.
It’s disappointing to see that the believers “have a need” to “constantly live their lives in fear”, and give their hard earned money to the leeches (sorry… I meant Prophets or Cult Leaders). When the prophecies don’t come true then they simply change the dates, or start a new end of time horror prophecy to keep the dough rolling in.
Most of the prophecies require cutting the pieces of a puzzle to make them fit, and “once in a while” a piece will fall into place without to much work, just enough to keep the “money making” horror stories going (that’s when the big bucks come rolling in for them).

Below are a “few” Questions… followed by some Answers you get from them when you ask Questions that they don’t know the answer to:
If God loves everyone… then why does God give life to babies that have “done no wrong”… just to have them die before they even have a chance at life and decide for themselves what makes sense to them?
Why would the “all knowing” and “almighty” God allow so much suffering in the world?
Why didn’t he simply create a world without it? After all, he had total control over what he created, but instead he mixed in some sinners, killers. criminals, etc… (He already knew they would be that before creating them).
Why would he need to forgive a killer when the “all knowing” and “almighty” God “purposely” created him/her in the first place?
I’ve been told the “he knows everything” including how we’ll turn out “before” we are born, and “where” each of us will be going after we pass.
Why did the almighty God decide to only allow a “select few” (world minority) to be saved, and the rest of the “world population” to be thrown out, and damned like bad apples? Again… the “all knowing” and “almighty” already knew who would be saved or dammed before he created them.
Some of the best and “intelligent” answers I get when I ask some of the above questions to believers is:

If your a serial killer… then all you only need to do is ask for his forgiveness “just before you die” and you’ll be saved.
It does not matter what crimes you’ve committed, just repent and you too will be saved.
If you’ve been a good person all your life (and not a believer), then you’re going straight to hell.

I cannot understand why I can’t be satisfied with answers like that?
I’ve been told by the believers that I’m an Ignorant Idiot, a Lost Soul, and the work of Satan for not believing that “stuff”.
But… personally… I blame God for my short comings! I’m very disappointed that he shortchanged me.
I plan on having a serious talk with him when I see him! I hope he give me enough time to explain my problems (which are not my fault) before discarding me.
According to the “chosen ones” people like me will be going straight to Hell…
I know that part is not BS because it’s all “based on facts” that other “humans” and “prophets” wrote about in the outdated books of the past, which only a “select few” can interpret and understand. God was too busy and had no time to write the books himself… books that “we all” could understand.
Even today… God is still too busy to clear up any misunderstandings that these old books constantly create. He prefers to only relay messages through the “chosen ones” and “Prophets” so the rest of us can remain confused when questioning things that don’t make sense.
