“And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; and the name of the star is called Wormwood, and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.” Revelation 8:10-11
Now another terrible force is seen coming against the dying Empire of Rome. Some people get confused as this says the ‘star’ came from heaven, but we have to remember that these word-pictures are all symbols to describe the forces who attacked Rome and brought about the prophecy that it would be divided, and made place for the strange ‘Little Horn’ kingdom, the papacy, to be set up. The prophecy points out that this ‘scourge’ would be brief but dramatic, like a blazing meteorite in the sky, it soon vanishes. The period covered by this trumpet was as brief as a burning star, 451-453.
By this prophecy we are directed to that dreadful scourge, the haughty Attila with his frightful Huns, who, during his reign, became the “terror of the world.” Attila actually called himself the “Scourge of God;” “Grandson of Nimrod, nurtured in Engedi, by the grace of God, King of the Huns, Goths, Danes, and Medes, the terror of the world.” And “It is a saying worthy of the ferocious pride of Attila that the grass never grew on the spot where his horse had trod.” He “alternately insulted and invaded the East and the West, and urged the rapid downfall of the Roman Empire.”
The ‘fountains of waters’ refers to the area that he mostly attacked, which was where most of the rivers started, in the regions of the Alps, and on the portions of the empire where the rivers flow to most of Europe in all directions. It was really the area of the “fountains of waters.” Wormwood is a very bitter tasting herb; Attila was horribly cruel.
Finally he demanded Honoria, the daughter of the Emperor, to be his bride. At first this was refused, but finally as his ferocious attacks came again, she was given to him. There was a huge drunken feast at the wedding, and the next day when Attila did not appear from his room, his men left him alone for a while, thinking he didn’t want to be disturbed. Finally when he did not answer their loud cries, they went to see what was wrong. He was found dead, as the result of an artery in his throat having burst, drowning him in his own blood.
The rapture is a lie of Satan. Trumpets 1-6 are in the past. We are currently living in the time of the seven trumpet and the third woe.

Absolutely nowhere, seeing as America is not mentioned at all. The authors didn’t know that America existed, so neither did the giant invisible magic man the bible says created it.
So much for IT being all knowing.

Revelation 13:10 The second beast arises at the SAME TIME the first beast goes into captivity, or around 1798. It is a separate power.
Revelation 13:11 The second beast rises rapidly from an UNPOPULATED area, “the earth.”
Revelation 13:11 The second beast has two horns with NO CROWNS. It has no king. It is not an autocratic dictatorship but a DEMOCRACY, saying to the people that “they” should make an image to the first beast. (Revelation 13:14)
Revelation 13:11 The second beast is a young beast, a youthful power, full of freedom and innocence, a NEW nation. (Remember a beast represents a nation (kingdom). Daniel 7:17; 7:23) In this prophecy:
1. A NEW nation arises
2. Around 1798
3. In an UNPOPULATED area
4. Without kingly authority
5. Governed by the people. It has the lamb like quality of Jesus, allowing its people freedom of choice.
6. The ONLY nation that fits ALL these prophetic specifications is the UNITED STATES.
Revelation 13:11-12 The features of the lamb-like beast rapidly turn into a DRAGON. Religious liberty is followed by religious oppression.
Revelation 13:12 The second beast, the UNITED STATES, gives its influence to the first beast, the Papacy, and becomes the enforcer nation with a UNION of Church and state.
Revelation 13:12 The central issue in the final conflict is “WORSHIP.” (See Revelation 14:7-12) The Sabbath is God’s eternal SIGN of true worship of Him as CREATOR.
Revelation 13:13-14 Satan will use MIRACULOUS SIGNS and WONDERS at a time of international crisis to forge a UNION of Church and state which will violently oppose and oppress God’s people. (See Revelation 16:14 and 2 Thessalonians 2:9)
Revelation 12:17 God’s faithful people will not yield to the coercive pressure to violate God’s law.
So examine all the relevant pieces of information again in brief:
1) Revelation 13:11 predicts the rising of a great beast
2) In prophecy, a beast represents a great nation
3) This nation comes out of the earth, or wilderness area
4) This nation starts out young, like a baby lamb
5) This nation is lamb like, with Christian characteristics
6) This nation grows to power when the first beast receives a deadly wound
7) This nation becomes a refuge for many Protestants fleeing Papal persecution
8) This nation has horns with no crowns, it has no kings
9) This nation achieves superpower status near the end of time
10) This nation influences the world’s economy
11) This nation finally speaks like a dragon
12) This nation finally enforces the mark of the first beast in Revelation 13:2
Now how many nations on Planet Earth fit each of these clear, unquestionable, Heaven inspired details?

Directly AFTER Revelation 13:10 declares the first beast will be mortally wounded, we see verse 11 declaring yet ANOTHER BEAST will appear at that time as well. This is where we begin to see the truth about the United States coing to light.
Revelation 13:11, “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”
This prophecy chronologically links the Pope’s captivity in 1798, and death in 1799, with an emergence of another beast. However, this second beast will not be coming out of a “multitude of nations, tongues and peoples.” It will be coming up out of the “earth” instead. Can we know who this beast is that began to arise in power around the end of the 18th century? And does prophecy also explain what it means to come up from the “earth?”
Before going further, We must understand the prophecy defines a “beast as a nation and or political power.” Daniel gives ample understanding of that fact as we will see in a moment. Plus, we must also understand that “horns” in prophecy are defined as “kings” or “ruling entities” that govern the nations.
In prophecy: A beast = a nation. A king = a ruler
Daniel 7:17, “These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.”
Daniel 7:23, “Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.”
Daniel 8:20-21, “The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia. And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.”
As we learned earlier, Revelation 17:15 defined the “waters” that the first beast rose from was the densely populated areas of the world that held many peoples, nations, and tongues. However, the opposite of that would be an uprising out of the “earth” where no one of any “power” resided beforehand. Is there such a place in history?
Historic fact is, The only power which arose out of a sparsely-populated area at the end of the 18th century was in fact the United States. America came out of the new world “officially in 1776, which is definitely at the end of the 18th century. This is also the same time in history when the Vatican received its mortal wound of 1798. But, does the United States of America accurately fit all the features of this prophecy?
Are there any other identifying aspects of this prophecy that only the United States could fulfill?
Revelation 13:11 stated earlier that this nation which arises at the end of the 18th century will display “lamb-like” features. This in fact accurately identifies the “Christian beginnings” of the United States of America. The Christian (lamb-like) traditions of the United States was drafted directly into the fabric of this nation. Even the Constitution of this land was designed to reflect a belief and trust in the Christian God. However, the prophecy also states plainly that this nation will eventually “speak as a dragon” does it not? As many are aware, the United States of America is in fact the most powerful nation on Earth, and it has been known to do horrendeous acts on foreign soil and quite recently right here at home as well. It has held the position of a “superpower” for the majority of its history. This fearsome power has literally ruled over all the nations of this world for some time now. And it has done so by FORCE! Everything from having dropped Atomic Bombs on the Japanese people killing tens of thousands instantly and hundreds of thousands by radiation poisoning over the years. Not to mention even more birth defects. The USA has also been know to enforce financial embargos designed to cripple entire nation s that won’t do as they demand. But the prophetic descriptions do not end there. Not only does this “lamb-like” nation help the Christians flee Vatican persecutions as well as speak as a dragon. This nation will also be used to attack the children of God the world over.
Revelation 12:12 says, “…Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
The devil will persecute the people controlled by the Vatican as well as the United States in these last days. Satan will actually use the Vatican inhabitants (sea) and Americans (earth) to enforce the mark of the beast on their own people! Fact is, that actually entails ALL of mankind! The Vatican does have it’s controlling powers in almost every nation now, just as the United States has theirs. An amazing fact that MANY miss is we can actually see the makings of a SATANIC TRINITY in the way the Dragon, the Vatican and the America government are all coming together as one in agreement with the final desires of Satan himself. That is, to enforce the mark of the beast.
