Is the “Pre-Wrath” Rapture Teaching Correct?

There are a lot of ministers today that are starting to change what they used to preach about the rapture of the Church. For centuries and even millenia, the Church believed and taught that the “time of Jacob’s trouble” was a SEVEN YEAR period AFTER the rapture of the Church.  But lately, there are more and more ministers who are changing their doctrine of a “pre-tribulation” rapture to what they call a “pre-wrath” or “mid-tribulation” rapture. In other words, they believe that Christians will have to go through the first 3 1/2 years of the time of “Jacob’s trouble”, (but I thought it was called “JACOB’S trouble), and then Christians will be raptured out, with the last 3 1/2 years of Jacob’s trouble being a time of WRATH.  But what does the Bible say about this?  Were Christians wrong for all those years, and God is just now speaking to his Church, or did God already speak to his church years before, and these teachers are really false teachers leading people astray?  Which teaching is correct? 

To find the answer, we must go to the scriptures themselves, for in 2 Thessalonians chapter two and verses one to three we find a warning to Christians in the last days that should not allow themselves to be deceived, especially about the COMING of the LORD JESUS CHRIST at the RAPTURE, which is also called the DAY OF CHRIST:

2Thess. 2:1  Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2Thess. 2:2  That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2Thess. 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Clearly the context of these verses are the rapture (gathering together of Christians unto him), and we find here a clear warning that we are not to allow ourselves to be DECEIVED by ANY MEANS about that teaching!

So why then, is what Fundamentalist Christians unanimously believed in (A PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE), now so easily attacked and ridiculed?  And why are so many modern ministers so quick to jump on the “Pre-Wrath Rapture Theory” or “Mid-Tribulation Rapture teaching” bandwagon? 

Could what they are now teaching lead to the “FALLING AWAY” mentioned in the above scriptures?

The following video goes into detail about the modern “Pre-Wrath” Rapture theory, and what it’s fruits could be and how it not only can deceive people into thinking something wrong, but could even lead to them being “tricked” into accepting the Anti-Christ rather than Jesus Christ!   It also shows the importance of “rightly dividing” (2 Tim. 2:15) the scriptures, and understanding dispensations, in order to know who Jesus is speaking to and in what time period he’s speaking.
