Red Alert! If You Are Not a Jew Your Time Is Up; But if You Are a Jew Now Is Your Time! This May Be Your Final Call!

Many present well known preachers preach that there will be a time of great revival and excitement coming during the time of tribulation and that thousands of people are going to get saved during this period. Do the Scriptures say so?

     The Scriptures don’t say tribulation period is the time of great excitement or revival. About the Tribulation, Jesus says, ¹⁹ For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be. ²⁰ And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days. Mark 13:19,20

²² For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. Luke 21:22

⁶ In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them. Revelation 9:6

This period will be the most turbulent time since the time of creation, and this is the dispensation of the Jews. The elect mentioned here are the 1,44,000 Jews sealed during the beginning of the tribulation.

¹After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. ² Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, ³ saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” ⁴ And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed: Revelation:7:1-4

These 1,44,000 Jews will be saved during this period, as they will be sealed by the Seal of the living God and hence they will have a special protection from God. These are the elect mentioned in the Bible, as they have been selected since the foundation of the world. The duration of Great tribulation will be shortened so that the elect may be saved. But what about the gentiles?

About gentiles getting saved is not specifically mentioned in the book of Revelation, because by then the dispensation of the gentiles would have been already over.

The great multitudes of gentiles from all nations, tribes, peoples and tongues seen in white robes standing before the throne are the raptured saints in heaven. This is mentioned in the beginning of the book of Revelation. As we read we understand Revelation is a book written in chronological order, as this is the revelation as seen by Apostle John of the last days.

⁹ After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, ¹⁰ and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” ¹¹ All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, ¹² saying:

“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,
Thanksgiving and honor and power and might,
Be to our God forever and ever.
Amen.”

¹³ Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”

¹⁴ And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”

So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.¹⁵ Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. ¹⁶ They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; ¹⁷ for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”  Revelation 7:9-17

These have come through hunger, thirst, heat and many tears, as most Christians do. But these didn’t have to resist the mark of the beast contrary to the elect getting saved during the tribulation (chapter 20).

⁴ And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Revelation 20:4

These are the people who are getting saved during the tribulation. Other than the 1,44,000 jews,  are there any gentiles among this group, we do not know.

God had given more than 2 millenia for the gentiles to accept the Savior Jesus, so that they will be saved from sins. If they reject Him, after being given so much time and opportunities, then they are going to fall into the grip of the great deception of the last days. During this period of tribulation, people will be blinded by the lies and deception of the antichrist so that they cannot get saved.

 ²³ “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. ²⁴ For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Mathew 24:23,24

The elects mentioned here are the 144000 Jews. What about the gentiles?

By then the door of grace would have been closed for the gentiles. Remember that God in His mercy, was giving this long a period of grace to the gentiles leaving aside the Jews, who should have been the real recipients of this salvation by grace. Because the Jews rejected the Messiah, the original branch (the Jews) were cut off and the gentiles were grafted into that place. But this dispensation of grace to the gentiles is going to be over any moment, and this will open the door for the Jews once again. But only 144000 Jews are mentioned to be saved, but only through great persecution. What about the rest of the Jews? The Bible does not speak about the others.

    The main hindrance for people to get saved during this period of tribulation is the absence of the manifold presence of the Holy Spirit who convicts the world of sin, and of righteousness and of Judgment.

⁸ And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: John 16:8

The Holy Spirit is the restrainer who restrains the Antichrist and his evil manifestation.

 ¹⁹ ………When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19

 But after the rapture, the antichrist will reveal himself to the world with signs and wonders, as the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way.

⁷ For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. ⁸ And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. ⁹ The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 2 Thessalonians 2:7,8,9

This will be a period of great deception and the people of the world very gladly will believe the lies of the antichrist and take the mark of the beast.

¹¹ And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,¹² that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.  2 Thessalonians 2:11,12

¹⁴ And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.  ¹⁶ He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, ¹⁷ and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.  Revelation 13:14,16,17

The Bible says, mankind did not repent in those days.

¹⁸ By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. ²⁰ But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.

²¹ And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.  Revelation 9:18,20,21

But if anyone takes the mark or worships the beast, that person goes for eternal punishment. There is no going back.

⁹ Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, ¹⁰ he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. ¹¹ And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”¹² Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Revelation  14:9,10,11,12

So to get saved during those days needs a lot of patience. He/she should resist the antichrist, shouldn’t take the mark ,should have faith in Jesus , keep the commandments of God, and be willing to die for Jesus. How many people will be able to do this in that period of great deception, lies and utter hopelessness? We do not know.

God will send two witnesses who will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days. But the people of the world will rejoice when these 2 witnesses are killed, but we do not see anybody getting saved during the time of their ministry.

¹⁰ And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. Revelation 11:10

But the Jews who are the elect are seen to have a combat with the dragon.

 ¹⁷ And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:17

The woman who gave birth to the male Child(Jesus) is Israel and the rest of her offspring are the Jews(the elect). These elect are asked to wait for thousand three hundred and thirty five days for their final redemption.

¹² Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days. Daniel 12:12

These elect will be gathered by the angels when Jesus comes to earth in great glory (second coming of Jesus which will be seen by all).

 ³⁰ Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. ³¹ And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Mathew 24:30,31 .

This incident is not the rapture, as during the rapture the saints are snatched away by the Holy Spirit in the twinkling of an eye, but here(the second coming) the elect are gathered by the angels.

These 144000 elect are seen with Jesus on Mount Zion.

¹Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads. Revelation 14:1

But what happened to the other gentiles?

The Bible says the people did not repent.

⁹ And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory. ¹¹ They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.

Revelation 16:9,11

There will  be a few people who will not take the mark of the beast. But they have to endure immense persecutions, will have to suffer hunger, thirst, wander without shelter, be always in hiding and if caught will be tortured and killed. But will they be putting their faith in Jesus or will they be simply trying to put up a fight with the antichrist, which will not benefit their souls? It will be hard to answer these questions at present.

In other words, a world without the church and the Holy Spirit will be an unthinkable one.

The Bible doesn’t say anything clear cut about the gentiles getting saved during the period of tribulation or about the salvation of the other Jews who are not included in the list of 144000. But the Scriptures repeatedly say one thing – that the people did not repent.

The following scriptures explain it all,

⁵ “If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses?
And if in the land of peace, in which you trusted, they wearied you,
Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan? Jeremiah 12:5

My friends, let today be your day for salvation. Tomorrow is not ours. We are living on borrowed time. (The delay for the rapture is explained in my previous article). Give your life to Jesus today so that He will gather you when He comes, and He will keep you safe from the wrath to come.

For the Jews also this is the time for salvation. Put your trust in Yeshua Ha-Mashiach. He will save you and keep you safe just like a hen keeps her chicks under her wings. Do not wait for the tribulation period because it will be really a period of great distress for the Jews in particular, and  also only 144000 jews are mentioned about getting saved during this period. Suppose you do not belong to this category?

Do not believe the preachers who preach that there is going to be a great revival coming during the period of tribulation. Do not believe such lies of the Satan and postpone your decision for salvation. But today is your day for salvation. Now it’s freely available to all-both Jews and gentiles. Before the door of grace closes , will you not accept Jesus as your Savior and thus escape  the wrath to come?

Please repent of your sins and ask Jesus to forgive you. If you ask Him, He will wash you clean with His Blood which was shed on the cross of Calvary. Jesus died for your sins, He died to pay the penalty for your sins and He rose again on the third day. Surrender your life completely into His hands and take a decision to follow Him in obedience to His word. If you have any unforgivenesss in your heart towards anyone, please forgive them. If you want to give your life to Jesus, please pray this prayer from your heart,

       “Dear Lord Jesus,

I admit that I am a sinner. I repent of my sins and I forsake them all. I believe that you are the Almighty God who came to earth as a Man to die on the cross as a penalty for my sins. I believe you rose again on the third day and you are alive forevermore. Please forgive me. I forgive everyone who has hurt me. Wash me with your precious blood shed for me on the cross. Come into my heart and make me your child. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit. I want to obey you and follow you all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
