THE KING OF THE EAST AND THE NORTH?

Last month on September 3rd the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) celebrated the 70th anniversary of VJ day with a spectacular hours long parade; showcasing the PLA and the modernization of China’s military power. Prominently showcased were the the fifth-generation Chengdu J-20 and Shenyang J-31 fighter jets. Along with DF-16 short range ballistic missile and the DF-21D, intermediate range ballistic missile which is capable of a single strike against American carriers. Also included were the were 12,000 troops 500 individual pieces of military equipment and 200 aircraft. As observers noted an impressive showing to western observers the capabilities of the 2,333,000 active force of the PLA (2,300,000 is their active reserve component).
What one asks when the see this display of military power by the Chinese leadership. Is the message that Chinese President Xi Jinping is sending to the world? And how does this fit with Israel?
As we look to the unveiling situation in the Middle East I draw your attention to:

As an observer of world affairs and as a student of the Bible I see many lines of convergence as by friend J calls it. And all lines point to Jerusalem.

The sixth plague talks about the dying up of a river. When literal Babylon was conquered, the river that flowed through the city was dried up and the soldiers came into the city through the riverbed. So this shows us that spiritual Babylon is about to fall, as the ‘waters’, which represent the people of the world who support it, turn away from supporting it, and start to fight against it.
This prepares the way for Jesus’ coming, represented as the ‘Kings of the East’.
The King of the North is Rome, the papacy.
Turkey is due north of Israel, not Italy. The Roman empire no longer exists. If you mean Catholicism then you mean Vatican city, not Rome. Vatican city has nothing to do with Rome, it’s an independent country within Rome.
Talk about spin. The king of the north is Turkey, not Russia. Russia is not due north of Israel. And if you’re not going to use the source for your claim, you might just as well claim that Canada is King of the north.
