Why The Rapture Didn’t Happen In September? An Encouraging Message From Above As We Gaze Into The Skies!

Many of us around the globe were expecting the secret coming of Jesus and the gathering together of the saints, to happen in September. The feast of trumpets, the feast of tabernacles, the Day of Atonement, all were possible rapture dates. We were expecting our beloved Savior to come in September, as so many biblically significant events were scheduled to take place in September. But the rapture didn’t happen. I was thinking about this. We were expecting our bridegroom, but He didn’t turn up. The ten virgins were also expecting the bridegroom. But the bridegroom didn’t arrive on time. So they slept off as they were waiting. This is what it is happening now and will happen in the days to come.

Why the rapture didn’t happen in September as we anticipated? The answer is the ‘delay ‘. The ‘delay of the bridegroom’ is mentioned in the scriptures.

 ¹“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. ² Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

 ³ Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, ⁴ but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

 ⁵ But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

⁶ “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ ⁷ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. ⁸ And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ ⁹ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’

 ¹⁰ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

¹¹ “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’¹² But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

¹³ “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.  Matthew 25:1-13

It was this delay that made the virgins go into sleep. The word delayed means ‘happening at a later time than expected or intended’ (Cambridge dictionary).

 In the coming days also, the Church is going to sleep along with the world, thinking that the bridegroom is not going to come in the near future. But the people who are ready with the oil in their lamp, as denoted by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, even though they lose heart and slumber, they will be taken by Jesus when He comes as the bridegroom.

 ⁹ For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁰ Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.   1 Thessalonians 5:9,10

But the Bible says, we shouldn’t be sleeping, but should be eagerly waiting for the appearance of Jesus, our bridegroom.

 ⁶ Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.   1Thessalonians 5:6

Watching always involves staying awake with prayer as the Lord has said in other parts of the Scriptures. This is because the time of watching is a period of intense spiritual warfare needed to protect our personal faith.

⁴¹ Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”  Matthew 26:41

³⁶ Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”  Luke 21:36

So my friends, delay doesn’t mean, the bridegroom is not going to come as some people say. It simply means the bridegroom is coming at a ‘later time than expected’, for reasons of His own.

⁹ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.   2 Peter3:9

The current global events show the fulfilment of many of the end time biblical prophecies recorded in the Scriptures. The Syrian conflict is paving the way for the Gog-Magog war described in Ezekiel 38, 39. The Antichrist is in his rightful place, getting ready to reveal himself to the world with signs and wonders(check my previous article about Antichrist). But this is possible only after the rapture. This is because the Holy Spirit who resides in the church resists the Satanic manifestations of the Antichrist as long as He is in the world. But when the Holy Spirit is taken away during the time of rapture, then the Antichrist will reveal himself to the world with his evil powers given by the dragon(satan).

⁷ For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. ⁸ And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.        2 Thessalonians 2:7, 8

The Holy Spirit is the one who restrains the Antichrist.

² Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. Revelation 13:2

The Antichrist will sit in the temple of God (third Jerusalem temple) as God Himself in the middle of the 7 years of tribulation.

¹ Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, ² not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. ³ Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, ⁴ who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

 (2Thessalonians 2:1,2,3,4).

The ‘coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him’ represents the rapture event.

The ‘falling away’ or ‘the great apostasy’ is what is happening now, within the churches and also outside. All kinds of evil doctrines have crept into the vast majority of the churches of the world. The ‘falling away’ from the truth( written in the scriptures) of this magnitude has never happened in all of world or church history. But the word of God says the ‘falling away will happen’ before the rapture and so it is happening. The end time antichrist(beast) is already in his office and the temple is also fully ready. The temple needs only to be erected at the right place. But the rapture has to happen first.

The refugee crisis also takes the world a step closer to the RFID chip, as these unknown crowds of refugees causes identification problems in a society, and will force everyone to take a chip implanted in their bodies for foolproof identification. The refugee crisis also is leading to the formation of 10 end time kingdoms the world will be divided before the millennial rule of Christ. All these events are leading the world into a one world government under the leadership of the Antichrist. But unless the rapture happens, none of these things will take place, as the Holy Spirit always causes a stumbling block to all the plans of the evil one.

…..When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him Isaiah 59:19

The Holy Spirit will not allow the enemy(Satan) to have an upper hand  in the world as long as He is here on the earth, because God is Spirit and the Holy Spirit is God Himself. But this situation is going to change once He is taken out of the way. Then there will be absolute chaos upon the earth. The Satan will rule the earth through the Antichrist and the false prophet. The mark of the beast, the NWO with the one world religion, one world currency, and the single world administration will be implemented. No one will be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast. There will not be any peace as the Comforter(Holy Spirit )is taken out of the way. Anyone who will not comply with the system of the Antichrist will be persecuted and killed.

As the Lord is merciful, and gracious, He is extending this period of Grace so that each one of you will be saved from the wrath to come. The Antichrist and the elite of this world are least interested in your wellbeing. They only want your destruction. Their aim is to kill as many people as possible and control the tameable.

¹⁰ The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus)have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.(John 10:10)

Satan knows his time on earth is short. He wants to take as many people as possible to hell where he is heading.

 ¹² Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” (Revelation12:9, 12).

Many do not believe that Jesus will come a second time. Do you believe He came once to earth? When He came to earth the first time only a few really waited for Him. Prophetess Hannah, Simeon, etc. were the few. Many couldn’t believe prophet Isaiah’s prophecy that He will be borne by a Virgin. Many thought He will be born as a Prince in a palace. Many were offended. But when the fullness of time came, He was born in a virgin in a manger.

 ⁴ But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, Galatians 4:4

 If He had come the first time, He will come the second time also.

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. ² In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. ³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:1,2,3

Many are getting ready to fight against these insurgents by taking up arms. But unfortunately your fight will not be against flesh and blood, but will be against the spiritual forces of darkness unleashed upon the earth. The devil and his angels will be cast to the earth from his dwelling place in second heaven.

⁷ And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, ⁸ but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. ⁹ So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Revelation 12:7,8,9

 This will happen in the middle of tribulation. You cannot fight against him with your earthly weapons. The only weapon that can be used against him is the name of Jesus and His precious blood. If you reject Jesus now, there will not be any escape. On the contrary in those days, the world will come under such darkness and deception, that you will not be able to trust anyone, not even your loved ones. The only safe place for you is Jesus. He is the present day ‘Ark of Noah’. If you take refuge in this Ark, you will be absolutely safe. Only Jesus can keep you safe. The time is running out and the choice is yours

My friends, there is only one person who really loves you, who really cares about your precious soul, His name is Jesus! He is the real lover of your soul. He doesn’t want you to spend eternity in Hell. That is the reason, He came to earth as a Man and suffered such a brutal death on the cross.

Once I asked myself, was it really necessary for the Christ to suffer such a brutal/horrific/painful death. Was that much suffering really necessary? The same day I opened my Bible and as I was reading, the answer was just before my eyes!

 ⁴⁶ Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,          Luke 24:46

Friends, on the cross Jesus was taking upon Himself, the eternal penalty of all mankind from Adam to the last man on earth. This load was so heavy, only the Creator could carry it. That was the reason, He Himself had to come to earth as a Man. This is not a joke as some people think it to be. If you do not put your load of sin upon Jesus, you will have to pay the price for your sins yourself and this will be in the eternal hellfire along with the devil and his angels.

⁴¹ “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: Mathew 25:41

 This will be a costly one. So do not play with your soul. Take a wise decision. The door of grace will be closed at any time. The next dispensation during the tribulation is for the Jews. Do not wait till then. Today is the day for salvation, tomorrow is not yours. He loves you so much that He doesn’t want you to perish.

 Please repent of your sins and ask Jesus to forgive you. If you ask Him, He will wash you clean with His Blood which was shed on the cross of Calvary. Jesus died for your sins, He died to pay the penalty for your sins and He rose again on the third day. Surrender your life completely into His hands and take a decision to follow Him in obedience to His word. If you have any unforgiveness in your heart towards anyone, please forgive them. If you want to give your life to Jesus, please pray this prayer from your heart,

       “Dear Lord Jesus,

I admit that I am a sinner. I repent of my sins and I forsake them all. I believe that you are the Almighty God who came to earth as a man to die on the cross as a penalty for my sins. I believe you rose again on the third day and you are alive forevermore. Please forgive me. I forgive everyone who had hurt me. Wash me with your precious blood shed for me on the cross. Come into my heart and make me your child. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit. I want to obey you and follow you all the days of my life. In Jesus’name, Amen.

When you receive Jesus into your life, your soul will be safe and secure throughout eternity, you are indeed entering into the ‘Ark’. He will keep you safe from the wrath to come. It may be ‘coz you are the only reason He is delaying His coming!
