The Bush Scroll: Why did the Sanhedrin Tell Bush that America was the Land of Meshech and Tubal?
In ancient Israel, the Sanhedrin were like Congress and the Supreme Court are for modern America. They were the wisest rabbis who decided matters of Jewish Law. Disbanded near the end of the Roman Empire, the group has officially reappeared in 2004. And in 2008, the Sanhedrin sent an odd message to the President George W. Bush, addressing him as “the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, (Ezekiel 38:1) leader of the west.”
Students of Bible prophecy know that in the war against Israel in Ezekiel chapters 38 & 39, (and specifically in Ezekiel 38:3) Gog is the chief prince of Meschech and Tubal – and they attack Israel in the end times. Ezekiel 38:14-16 “Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “On that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it? You will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great assembly and a mighty army; and you will come up against My people Israel…” Since Ezekiel clearly refers to the far north (of Israel – presumably Turkey or Russia) why do the Sanhedrin imply that Bush and America are Gog and Meshech and Tubal – in the West?
The document was not written by foolish men: Rabbi Adin Steinzaltz, High Priest of the Sanhedrin Rabbi Haim Richman, Chief Rabbi of the Holy Temple Dr. Gadi Eschel, Chief Representative of The New Jewish Congress… They must have a reason to describe America this way, and I am trying to find it…

Anyone who even knows the title of my last book (Antichrist 2016-2019: Mystery Babylon, Barack Obama & the Islamic Caliphate) probably knows I think the United States is the “Mystery Babylon” described in Bible prophecy… so I am intrigued at the idea that Magog (and by extension, Meshech and Tubal) might be Babylon. Could the Sanhedrin view America as the enemy of Israel in end times prophecy?
About 25 minutes into this audio file from an Israeli radio program, they start discussing the “Bush Scroll” shown above and compare Bush’s role in a “peace” deal that divides the land of Israel with Palestinians and compares Bush’s role to Babylon’s King Nebuchadnezzar. Another web site claims that “the relevant passages in Ezekiel 38 and 39 do not describe Russia, but actually point back to the United States!” (It also talks about a TV program called “American Magog” but I can’t find any videos of it.)
The title question is very interesting to me, and I can’t find a convincing explanation of why the Sanhedrin reach this conclusion, (that America is the land of Meshech/Tubal/Magog) so I encourage you to comment if you know a good reason.

I am intrigued by the idea you wouldn’t know what Magog is, if it were a commuter bus that hit you in the rear. But do please reply to this, with a link to the book of further spaghetti exegesis you’re incessantly hawking, this as proof of your, as always, sincere intent.

Foolishness. Just plain foolishness. It seems the Sanhedrin have difficulty understanding which direction Gog’s attack will come from, though it’s clearly stated by Ezekiel. The prophet says that Gog will “come from your place in the remotest parts of the north” to attack of Israel.” (Ezekiel 38:15) And one thing is very sure, the U.S. isn’t north of Israel!
Palestinian Jews were erased after world war II and replaced by Ashkenazim Jews. These Zionist Jews favor and support Gog (Satan) and will do what is necessary to destroy the real (spiritual) Jews of today.

Well, it certainly appears that the Sanhedrin are just as screwed up now as they were in Jesus’ time. Meshech and Tubal are in Turkey. Not Russia, and certainly not America. Bad enough that these crackpots cause incredible tensions with Russia by calling them the hated “Gog”.. but now they’re also causing tensions by calling America “Gog” as well. It’s clear that they’re desperately trying to foment war. And who are these instigators? Well, no need for conspiraty theories this time. They’ve gone on record as to who they are. It’s hard to be sincere and receive so much mockery, I don’t get that! Why do people respond the way they do to something so important. It shows where peoples hearts are. I don’t know the answer to this, but could it be that America will join the other nations that will come against Israel? I can’t stand Sanhedrin. They mostly ruled the town that I grew up in and turned it to sh**t. I never knew what they were until recently. They hosted wild keg parties in their halls for all the dumb goyim.
