The scientists who found it aren’t even sure it exists. They only calculated it could be there. But it’s nothing conclusive yet. And we can’t see it from planet earth if it is even there.

ABSTRACT. Neptune and Pluto were discovered because of predictions
derived from the differences between the observations and ephemerides of
Uranus, but Pluto wasn’t the predicted planet and the discrepancies
still exist. This continuing existence of systematic differences b-
tween the observations and ephemerides of Uranus and Neptune has led to
predictions of a Planet X. The demise of the dinosaurs and the exist-
ence of comets have been cited as additional evidence for another celes
tial object.

Therefore, possible bodies have been hypothesized in the outer part of
the solar system, or out beyond the solar system, including a binary
companion, Nemesis. The theory of relativity and the incompleteness of
the law of gravity have also been suggested as explanations for the
outer planet discrepancies. Predictions of the possible locations of
Planet X have been made, with rather large uncertainties, and selected
searches of some regions have yielded nothing. IRAS and Pioneer obser-
vations exist as additional sources of useful observational data.

The article which was recently published by Konstantin Batygin and
Michael E. Brown last January [astron.j. 151(22), feb 2016] has basically
the same approach setup and results as that of Robert S. Harrington
[astron.j. 96(4), jul 1988] : the concept of a inclination angle of
`Planet X’ to our solar system orbital planetary system, and the
perturbation of the outer planets trajectories [Uranus and Neptune]
according the gravitational model of our solar system by the additional
mass and trajectory of `Planet X’. Batygin and Brown expand their approach
by adding a matrix of Kuiper Belt Objects [KBO's] discovered in recent
years into the gravitational model equation :

“ABSTRACT
Recent analyses have shown that distant orbits within the scattered
disk population of the Kuiper Belt exhibit an unexpected clustering in
their respective arguments of perihelion. While several hypotheses have
been put forward to explain this alignment, to date, a theoretical
model that can successfully account for the observations remains
elusive. In this work we show that the orbits of distant Kuiper Belt
objects (KBOs) cluster not only in argument of perihelion, but also in
physical space. We demonstrate that the perihelion positions and
orbital planes of the objects are tightly confined and that such a
clustering has only a probability of 0.007% to be due to chance, thus
requiring a dynamical origin. We find that the observed orbital
alignment can be maintained by a distant eccentric planet with mass >
10 m⊕whose orbit lies in approximately the same plane as those of the
distant KBOs, but whose perihelion is 180° away from the perihelia of
the minor bodies. In addition to accounting for the observed orbital
alignment, the existence of such a planet naturally explains the
presence of high-perihelion Sedna-like objects, as well as the known
collection of high semimajor axis objects with inclinations between 60°
and 150° whose origin was previously unclear. Continued analysis of
both distant and highly inclined outer solar system objects provides
the opportunity for testing our hypothesis as well as further
constraining the orbital elements and mass of the distant planet. “
