Katharine Frisk has asked the question that many billions of people have asked over the millennia, and she says her article is only an attempt, writing: “This is a difficult article for me to write. But the question has come up time and time again on many platforms: Where does evil come from? I am going to attempt to answer this question. And please note it is an attempt, so bear with me, be patient and what is more, feel free to contribute in the comments section below.”
The answer to the question is extremely simple,
so simple that it hides in plain sight.
If you put a letter D in front of the word evil – Devil – you will instantly see where evil comes from. If you put another O in the word God – good – you will see where good comes from.
Yes, it IS that simple. The Truth usually is.
Lucifer now known here on Earth as Satan (the Opposer) and The Devil (Liar/Slanderer – John 8:35) has deceived and confused everyone using his organized religions, that he has deceived people into believing belong to God, when the opposite is the truth, that is that they belong to Lucifer (Revelation 12:9).
King of kings’ Bible – John 8:35 Ye are of [YOUR] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the Truth, because there is no Truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father (inventor) of it.
King of kings’ Bible – Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out to the earth, and his angels (you – Luke 9:55) were cast out with him (Matthew 25:41).
Every normal Human+Being has two telepathic voices in their head – a good one and an evil one. They are God and the Devil/Lucifer respectively, speaking to you telepathically. Lucifer tempts you to do evil for temporary worldly rewards, and God tells you not to do what Lucifer says, because you KNOW it is wrong, because He tells you so. God is the voice you think is your conscience.
You are then allowed your free-will to decide whom to obey, and, sadly, most people obey Lucifer, whether knowingly or unknowingly, and that is why things are so bad, and getting rapidly worse, as more and more people become influenced by him and their music, screen and other idols, who have sold their souls to the Devil, for temporary, worldly fame and fortune, as some of them openly admit.

Lucifer has a single specific meaning, the planet Venus on the dawn horizon, the bright morning star. Rev 22.16 “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”
Lucifer = Jesus.
As for your question “Where Does Evil Come From?”; if you believe we and everything was created by an all knowing creator deity, then that is where evil comes from. The claim is that IT is all knowing, which rules out the possibility of free will, there is no possible way to change the all known future, which would leave us with predestination to follow the known future exactly like preprogrammed Sims. IT does nothing to alter the all known future and IT would be the only entity that could change it, but IT does nothing, IT sits idly by watching theist and atheist alike die in the most appalling ways on a planet IT deliberately, all knowingly created with a million and one ways of ending our lives before their time.
Basically you can’t have it both ways, all knowing plus free will is an oxymoron, they are two opposing absolutes, so IT is either all knowing and given our reality would make IT absolutely evil, or IT is not all knowing and thus no god… which is it?

Evil is the result of freewill turning away from God rather than toward Him.
Agreed, but to put a finer point on it I submit the following…
True, we are free violate the spiritual Laws of the Creator whenever we want, but we can never escape the consequences of doing so. The self inflicted pain and suffering we then experience, even now on a global scale, is not really a thing of “evil”.
It’s love in action. Its purpose is to foster a conscious awareness within us to guide us back onto the right path of action again.

I do suggest NOT using a King James or a Douay Rheims version. The 1611 KJV is filled with ADDED texts that don’t exist in original scrolls, and has over 12,000 DELIBERATE translation errors, and the DR of 1610 was quite similar, only has more mistakes, as it was rushed through to beat the KJV’s completion, and has apocraphyl texts added which were NOT inspired by God added to them.

The NWT is a twisted corruption from the devil. The witnesses had to rewrite the Bible to a version that justified all of the apostate beliefs.
Just a few of the twisted lies:
Gen. 1:1-2–”In [the] beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Now the earth proved to be formless and waste and there was darkness upon the surface of [the] watery deep; and God’s active force was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters,” (New World Translation, emphasis added).
The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society denies that the Holy Spirit is alive–the third person of the Trinity. Therefore, they have changed the correct translation of ” . . . the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters” to say ” . . . and God’s active force was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters.”
Zech. 12:10–In this verse God is speaking and says, “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son,” (Zech. 12:10, NASB).
The Jehovah’s Witnesses change the word “me” to “the one” so that it says in their Bible, ” . . . they will look upon the one whom they have pierced . . . ”
Since the Jehovah’s Witnesses deny that Jesus is God in flesh, then Zech. 12:10 would present obvious problems–so they changed it.
John 1:1–They mistranslate the verse as “a god.” Again, it is because they deny who Jesus is and must change the Bible to make it agree with their theology. The Jehovah’s Witness version is this: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.”
Col. 1:15-17–The word “other” is inserted 4 times. It is not in the original Greek–nor is it implied. This is a section where Jesus is described as being the creator of all things. Since the Jehovah’s Witness organization believes that Jesus is created, they have inserted the word “other” to show that Jesus was before all “other” things and implying that He is created.
There are two Greek words for “other”: heteros and allos. The first means another of a different kind, and the second means another of the same kind. Neither is used at all in this section of Scripture. The Jehovah’s Witness have changed the Bible to make it fit their aberrant theology.
Heb. 1:6–In this verse they translate the Greek word for worship, proskuneo, as “obeisance.” Obeisance is a word that means to honor, show respect–even bow down before someone. Since Jesus, to them, is created, then He cannot be worshiped. They have also done this in other verses concerning Jesus, i.e., Matt. 2:2, 11, 14:33, 28:9.
Heb. 1:8–This is a verse where God the Father is calling Jesus God: “But about the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” Since the Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t agree with that, they have changed the Bible, yet again, to agree with their theology. They have translated the verse as ” . . . God is your throne . . . ” The problem with the Jehovah’s Witness translation is that this verse is a quote from Psalm 45:6 which, from the Hebrew, can only be translated as ” . . . Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.” To justify their New Testament translation, they actually changed the OT verse to agree with their theology, too!
The NWT translation is not a good translation. It has changed the text to suit its own theological bias in many places.
