WHAT IF… THE ANTICHRIST IS AN OBJECT, NOT A PERSON?

Gabriel talks to Muhammad

Christians have long wondered about the Antichrist.

Who is he?

         When will he appear?

What will he do when he gets here?

The possibilities have filled people with equal parts fear and fascination.

But what if? What if the Antichrist is not a fake Jesus? What if he isn’t a counterfeit Messiah? Or a false, Islamic Mahdi? What if he isn’t a he at all…but a what?

The word “antichrist” comes from the Greek word, antichristos, which means “an opponent of the Messiah.” (Strong’s, #500.) Christ, or Christos, is the Greek for the Hebrew word, Mâshîyach, or Messiah. It simply means “anointed.” It referred to kings, priests, prophets: anyone who was anointed.

But people were not the only things anointed. The furniture in the tabernacle built by Moses, the “horns” of the altar of incense as well as the altar of sacrifice were anointed with blood. The Ark of the Covenant was anointed with blood every year on the Day of Atonement. The annual anointing of the Ark of the Covenant with blood was the most solemn day of their entire religious year.

But more than that, the Ark of the Covenant was a weapon. The use of the ark as a weapon of mass destruction (WMD) was first demonstrated at Jericho. After the priests carrying the ark circled the city seven times, the walls fell down, allowing the soldiers accompanying the priests access to what had been an impenetrable city. This established a precedent later when the Israelites were fighting the Philistines. They brought the Ark of the Covenant to the battle as a tactical maneuver to win the war.

Recent events at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, are now raising the possibility that the Antichrist is not a person, but another ark: the Ark of Gabriel. According to some reports, this ancient artifact was uncovered during extensive and on-going renovations under the Masjid al-Haram Mosque.

On September 12, 2015, a 15-man crew digging on a tunnel, unearthed what appears to be some sort of weapon or device. In attempting to remove it, the device ejected a plasma emission, instantly killing all fifteen men. The blast was so powerful, it actually ejected from the ground, toppling a crane and killing an additional 107 people and injuring more than 200. The official report, as published on Al Jazeera, blamed the explosion on lightening storms.

A second attempt to remove this device on September 24, 2015, had catastrophic results. This time, the plasma emission killed over 4,000 people, gathered there for the annual Hajj pilgrimage. The Saudi Health Ministry blamed the deaths on heat exhaustion and suffocation.

Immediately following this disastrous second attempt to remove the device, emissaries from the Grand Mosque contacted Vladimir M. Gundyaev in Moscow. Gundyaev is Patriarch Kilrill of Moscow and all Russia of the Russian Orthodox Church. The emissaries wanted information on an ancient Islamic manuscript entitled “Gabriel’s Instructions To Muhammad.” This manuscript has been safeguarded by the Russian Orthodox Church ever since Roman Catholic crusaders sacked Constantinople in 1204.

This manuscript allegedly contains a set of instructions the Angel Gabriel gave to Muhammad. At that same time, Gabriel is believed to have entrusted to Muhammad a box or ark of “immense power.” This ark, he was told, was not to be used because it belonged to Allah. It was to be buried at the “place of worship the Angels used before the creation of man.” It would remain there until, sometime in the future, it would be uncovered during the days of Yawm al-Qiyâmah. (Literally, “Day of the Resurrection.”)

Further information on this mysterious device has been difficult to obtain. However, after Russian president, Vladimir Putin was informed of the situation, he ordered the Admiral Vladimisky research vessel to transport the ark to the Antarctic after picking it up at the Port of Jeddah. A report prepared by Russia’s Ministry of Defense stated that the ark was of critical military-religious significance.

The Ark of the Covenant had great religious significance for the Hebrews because it gave them power over their enemies. It reportedly brought sickness to Israel’s enemies. Furthermore, it apparently had the same power to destroy as the Ark of Gabriel if improperly handled. To date, the Ark of Gabriel has killed over 4,000 people in the Saudi’s initial attempts to transport it. Scripture records that the Ark of the Covenant killed over 50,000 people under similar circumstances.

Like the Ark of Gabriel, the Ark of the Covenant had great religious and military significance for the Hebrews.

Since objects as well as people were anointed, is it possible that the Ark of Gabriel is an “opponent” of the Ark of the Covenant? Both arks are WMDs. What if the Antichrist is an object, not a person?

Will the final battle that destroys the earth be a War between the Arks?
