The United Nations Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) released a new report pointing out the decline of pollinators and how this threat is about to wreak havoc on our food supply.
While the report did not declare a full-out threat, the announcement is still something we should worry about, as bee populations have been declining since 2006/2007, and the die-offs are now accelerating.

I have stood up against this for years….protect the bees. BUT….if worse comes to worse…one can manually pollinate plants with a paint brush. Tedious long task yes, but survival is first. Now is the time to sow plants and flowers that bees love. If you discover hives in your trees leave them alone….let them survive. DONT use chemicals to harm them. Without bees the lazy will starve. Get a supply of small brush pointed tip paint brushes.
