As a protestant Christian, I do not know any Roman Catholic Christian I had more respect for than James Caviezel. However, James Caviezel is apparently NOT aware of the fact that Pope Francis I was involved very personally in the murder of children within the military junta government of a South American country.
Also, Francis has said that Jesus Christ failed in HIS mission. If Jesus Christ failed Francis I has hijacked the name of Christianity when he calls himself the leader of Christianity and that there is no form of legitimate Christianity outside of Rome that will be recognized by Rome. As long as James Caviezel does not recognize the gross errors in the Vatican, I cannot support any endeavor he is involved with, my opinion of him has changed.
He is VERY uninformed of the world that he lives in to a spiritual extent that threatens himself and others.

We may find God Himself soon taking issue with aspects of MANY of our human labels, including “protestant”.
