The Four Beasts From Daniel Chapter 7

For years its been postulated by most in Christendom the “four beasts” in Daniel 7 are those modern day kingdoms from Daniel Chapter 2: Iraq, Iran, Greece, and Rome: and there are those that believe “the bear” is Russia. But scripture (KJV) proves the “four beasts” are not physical kingdoms, but something else etirely that reveals were we stand in time. 

Scholar Dr. Michael Heiser (Semetics language expert) says the Hebrew language sometimes uses adjectives as nouns, which is the case here with the four beasts in Daniel 7.  After one reads the narrative in Daniel 7, which took place in the first year reign of king Balshazzar then we read in Daniel 8 (which is two years later in king Belshazzar’s third year reign), “a vision appeared to Daniel, after that which appeared to me at the first” (Dan. 8:1). 

The summary of Daniel 8 is that after Media/Persia seizes Babylon, who is conquered by Greece, that after Alexander the Great and his four generals, “four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power” (vs. 23).

Now most have assumed these “four kingdoms” refer to those from Daniel 2, but what elimates these “four kingdoms” to be physical kingdoms is that the verse says, “…but not in his power.” In other words these kingdoms come not by conquest, which is how kingdoms come about.  Also the highlighted word “up” in the above verse is amad, which means to tarry, stay, set, remain, continue, build upon, establish, etc. It’s here we have to ask, if these “four kingdoms” come not by power or conquest, yet they ”stand up out of the nation” (gowy; a Gentile nation) then what else could it mean but these “four kingdoms” pertain to eras that build upon another to establish the nation? 

Now to fully appreciate these “four kingdoms” are eras we need to understand Daniel Chapter 2. Through my studies of Daniel 2, 7, and 8, I posit the image of the dream in Daniel 2 is not about four kingdoms, but seven that would have world dominion after the Flood, respectively, beginning with Egypt, Babylon, Media/Persia, Greece, Rome, Divided Rome, and the U.S.A.

In other words Daniel Chapter 7 is about the seventh kingdom (U.S.A.) that is built upon four eras, which is substantiated by Daniel 8:22. The “four kingdoms” are adjectives used as nouns to describe these eras, which after a deep study (with the Holy Spirit) reveals these four eras: 

1st Era: 1789-1913; 2nd Era: 1913-1933; 3rd Era: 1933-1953; 4th Era: 1953-2009 

The first era describes the coming about of America, which did not officially become a nation until 1789 (Washington’s inaugural). The second era describes corporate America with the establishment of the Federal Reserve in 1913. The third era describes the U.S. becoming a great nation coming out of WWII under then VP Truman, who succeeded our only four-term President (who died in his fourth term) that lifted the nation of out of great depression. The fourth era describes the U.S. ruling the world beginning with Eisenhower, JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, and Bush Jr., the ten horn.  

Scripture then tells us that after the tenth horn (Bush Jr.) another little horn (an ignoble inexperienced leader) arises out of the fourth era to succeed the tenth, Bush Jr, which is Obama to begin a new era. Furthermore scripture reveals that once Obama takes seat in the Office, he will continue two years after his second term!  What this means is the 2016 Presidential Election will be canceled; that there will not be a succeeding President to inaugurate on January 20, 2017, which implies a national crisis of some sort will occur to usher in the FEMA Provisional Act (martial law), which in turn suspend the Constitution, i.e 22nd Amendment (term-limits of the Presidency), allowing Obama to continue. 

It will be during Obama’s two-year extension he lets radical Islam (a cruel people) grow and strengthen, which will possess the U.S. (first beasts) after it receives a mortal wound, i.e. economic collapse, including the Vatican (second beasts); to become a world caliphate. 

Scripture seems to show that the very last of the end times span from mid-late 2016 – 2019, which may reach into 2020, depending on the actualy start of these very last of days. Something else that is important to understand is that scripture does not teach a 7 or 3 1/2/ year tribulation, which are doctrines that come of men. Rather “that tribulation” is days, not years in length that come upon those saints that held to another gospel, which is not another, but came to repentance to receive the love of the truth. (Scripture proves tribulation is only days in length, which is another study, and not part of this post).

Things are set, and by the looks of it, it appears what is going to ignite the fuse is the Rebulican National Convention (July 18-21), as there are thousands of Trump Protesters scheduled to disrupt it, which I’ve heard they want to usher in martial law. It’s of no coincidence that in 2014 I came to learn that Rev. 13:5 might reveal July 20, 2016 to be the day something major occurs.  

“For those that have ears to hear, let him hear.” 

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is Him exhorting mankind to repent and keep His law of righteousnes, which is something we do by His testimony (life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension), which is His grace. Grace is: His Divine influence upon the heart of the sinner, the reflection in the life of the believer. The purpose of His testimony is to move the heart of the sinner to repentance for transgressing His law of righteousness with godly sorrow to salvation not to be repented of. 

In other words, because of His cross, He expects all that names the name of Christ to depart from iniquity; to cease from doing those sins of the flesh (Cor. 6:9-10, Gal. 5:19-21, etc.).

Let us that names His name make our calling and election sure with fear and trembling!
