Much to the dismay of the Vatican, an approx. 1500-2000 year old bible was found in Turkey, in the Ethnography Museum of Ankara. Discovered and kept secret in the year 2000, the book contains the Gospel of Barnabas – a disciple of Christ – which shows that Jesus was not crucified, nor was he the son of God, but a Prophet. The book also calls Apostle Paul “The Impostor”. The book also claims that Jesus ascended to heaven alive, and that Judas Iscariot was crucified in his place.
A report by The National Turk says that the Bible was seized from a gang of smugglers in a Mediterranean-area operation. The report states the gang was charged with smuggling antiquities, illegal excavations, and the possession of explosives. The book itself is valued as high as 40 Million Turkish Liras (approx. 28 mil. Dollars). Man, where is the Thieves Guild when you need them?Authenticity
According to reports, experts and religious authorities in Tehram insist that the book is original. The book itself is written with gold lettering, onto loosely-tied leather in Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ. The text maintains a vision similar to Islam, contradicting the New Testament’s teachings of Christianity. Jesus also foresees the coming of the Prophet Muhammad, who would found Islam 700 years later.
It is believed that, during the Council of Nicea, the Catholic Church hand-picked the gospels that form the Bible as we know it today; omitting the Gospel of Barnabas (among many others) in favor of the four canonical gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Many biblical texts have begun to surface over time, including those of the Dead Sea and Gnostic Gospels; but this book especially, seems to worry the Vatican.
The Catholic Church Wants In
What does this mean to Christian-derived religions and their followers? Quite a tight spot. The Vatican has asked Turkish authorities to let them examine the contents of the book within the Church. Now that the book has been found, will they come to accept the it and its evidence? Will they deny it altogether? Call it a “Muslim lie”, as did the “Truth” Magazine, in 2000? To many, this book is a beacon of hope, that believers soon realize that the object of their adoration is arbitrary; and that all text, especially religious text, is subject to interpretation.
What does this mean to atheists/agnostics/secular thinkers? Is the text real? Fake? Does it matter? Hopefully, this news inspires the religious to ask questions, instead of pointing fingers or believing anything blindly. Please, don’t go poking fun or tossing around the “I told you so!”s. The biggest danger of faith is when people believe what they want to believe, defending against any and all evidence; especially when that evidence revolutionizes their foundation from the ground up. And the biggest culprit to that danger is the ego trap: rejecting/criticizing others, for being unlike you. For centuries, the “defense” of blind faith has driven nations to war, violence, discrimination, slavery and to become the society of automatons that we are today; and for just as long, it has been justified with lies. So where can we read what’s in this bible, since they have had it since the year 2000? Wouldn’t they want to release the contents of this book so we can know more truth? Or at least to prove to the world that it exists? By now they could have made many copies of the thing and shared it with the public! Who would suppress such knowledge that we all have a right to know about? Who or where are the people hiding this book? There are a number of fraudulent books out there. There are thousands of copies of authentic Bible books. There’s no doubt whatsoever that the Bible is authentic.
And though you won’t believe it, The King James Version Bible is the biggest fraud book there is! There is only the vaguest of truths left in it after it was so heavily edited during it’s creation by Constantine three hundred and some years after Jesus. A little research will tell the facts of how the Romans simply moved over to creating the Roman Catholic Church after the fall of Rome and are indeed still one of the greatest powers on earth today! They used existing scriptures to make their book Bible. Like the Old Testament that they took from the Corbin, which has been around for thousands of years longer than the Bible. They then changed it (which you can check in the Corbin) and all other scriptures to suit their newly made from thin air religion. Athena whom Romans worshiped became Mary, etc. They have kept power by forming the Roman Catholic church, and people still worship them today instead of worshiping or praying directly to God through Jesus as it was meant to be and was in the time of Jesus. If you sin, you go into a confessional booth and confess your sin to one of them whom you can’t see that is hiding behind a wall in the same booth. You then confess to him, and he tells you what you must do to be forgiven, like say 10 hail Mary’s etc. Because of this fraud created centuries ago in a primitive time, people have come to believe it as true when it is not, nor ever has been! In this way, they have become the most powerfully rich church on the planet! The only real truth left in the Bible are the names, places and dates of the participants. The rest has been changed to make us believe a certain message and way of thinking such as to suite their needs. And guess what? It worked folks! Let’s just look at all the folks that state “If it isn’t in the Bible it’s not true!” Or any variation of the statement. People will even give their very lives for the Bible. It’s really a very sad situation when the masses have been dupped for centuries and it’s still going on with no end in sight………. Especially when you can find out the real truth by reading the original scriptures that all came long before the so called Bible. (Like the Corbin) Scriptures that talk about things like technology that they had and used in those days that has been removed from the scriptures by the Romans when they made their Bible. Yeah Jesus wasn’t crucified and he left on a steamship for America and ended up running a dry goods store in Minneapolis…..and they all lived happily ever after ! Who really knows exactly WHAT actually happened back then since a lot of what was actually written was well after the fact and I’m sure that at least some of it was more than a fair bit of conjecture ! I believe in God but I’m not so sure that you can just accept everything that was written by anyone else as being completely , or in some cases even partially , true ! Human nature hasn’t really changed over time and people tend to embellish the truth to soot themselves or impress others !
