As a Christian start with the New Testament, and do not try to read the Bible as if it were some magical book with hidden meanings. Just read it as a child would, simply believing everything you read.

It is the simplest book to understand, and do not be like the Jewish people who say the average person cannot understand it and has to study the Talmud.  For they are blind and cannot see the simplicity of the Word of God, for the main reason is that THEY DO NOT BELIEVE in Jesus the Christ (Messiah).

All can be saved with the Gospel. Hitler did not have to go to Hell if he followed the 3 simple steps above.
