Were the terms of the New “Marriage” Covenant altered by the death of Jesus Christ? If so, for what reason, what purpose

Was Jesus Christ confirming the NEW “Marriage” Covenant/contract with – “many” – during the 3 ½ years of His ministry— yes or no?

If not — then what was He doing and why?

Yes both the Old and the New Covenants are marriage contacts

Why offer one covenant/contract for 3 ½ years only to alter it drastically later?

At the death of our Passover, Jesus Christ, there were only 120 unconverted disciples as not one had the Spirit of the Father in them.

The indwelling of God’s Spirit is the “Seal” making the contract legal and binding on both parties.

Corporations have a Seal which must be imprinted next to the signature lines at the end of a contract which is required before the contract becomes legal and binding on both parties.

Not one of the 120 disciples, until the day of Pentecost, was a party to the New Covenant/contact thus the New marriage contract was not in effect until that Day of Pentecost 50 days after Christ rose from the grave.

Sorry catholic’s Mary the mother of Jesus was not given the Father’s Spirit until Pentecost.

Until all 120 assembled to observe the Holy Feast of Pentecost and God the Father poured out His Spirit on them, there was not one human on earth that had in them the Holy Spirit of the Father dwelling in them.

At that first Feast of Pentecost after Christ’s death and resurrection 3000 joined the 120 and accepted the terms of the New Covenant and were given the Holy Spirit sealing their marriage agreement/contract.

Which, by the way, was the exact day the children of Israel agreed to that first marriage Covenant after they left Egypt, that day was also the Feast of Pentecost.

Once Jesus Christ reached 30 years of age on the First day of the Feast of Tabernacles He went into the Temple and began to explain the terms of the New Marriage agreement. See John 7: 1- 14

What is that “Good News” Christ came to reveal to men?

The King of kings is returning to earth to set up His kingdom and marry His Bride.
 

The conformation of the marriage Covenant requires a period of 7 years and as half of that time remains, because of the death of Christ, the marriage can not take place until Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom, completes the conformation.

The Bride and the Groom must agree to the marriage contract. See Daniel 9: 27 to confirm the conformation period.

What are the terms of the New Marriage Covenant?

Acts 2

37 Now when they heard [this], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men [and] brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost spirit.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.

3000 repented – changed ones mind regarding committing sin against God. Jesus Christ can not and will not marry a sinner. His bride must be obedient, virtuous and a virgin and willing to obey her Husband in all things.

I John 3: 4

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: —-for sin is the transgression of the law. i. e. the Torah.

3000 were buried under the water – were baptized. Baptism is the symbolic act of joining in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

And by the Laying on of hands 3000 were given the gift of the Father’s Spirit.

Please read Acts 2 for yourself and you will find there is no mention of the 3000 speaking in tongues –after — baptism, only the 120 spoke known human languages after receiving God’s Spirit for the purpose of proving to the Jews from other nations — this was OF God.

Speaking in satanic tongues is NOT of God, is not a proof of the Spirit.

If speaking in “tongues” (human language) comes with the indwelling of God’s Spirit, as it did on the 120, then why was it not reported that the 3000 spoke with tongues? That would have been a wonderful opportunity to confirm the tongues issue.

Acts 8

18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

Hebrews 6

1 Therefore leaving— the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and— of laying on of hands,— and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

A fundamental doctrine of Christ is the laying on of Hands, have you even heard of it?

After baptism, symbolizing your death and burial, the laying on of hands is performed to place into that repentance person God’s Spirit.

The Spirit is passed from one that Has God’s Spirit through his hands to another and as there was not even one on that day of Pentecost, God the Father laid His hands on the 120.

As baptism is symbolically joining with Christ’s in His death, which fulfills the requirement of your death, the baptized person is now spiritual cleaned by the blood of Jesus Christ and can receive God’s Holy Spirit. God’s spirit can not be put in an unclean vessel.

Again — what was Jesus Christ doing for 3 ½ years here on this earth if not explaining the terms of the NEW Covenant/contract?

A contract must have 2 parties and both parties must agree to the terms of the contract before it becomes a legal valid contract.

A covenant is a contract.

So when Jesus Christ was explaining to the rich man how to obtain eternal life, which the Old Covenant never offered, was Jesus Christ wrong when He told the Rich man he must keep the commandments?

Is keeping the 10 Commandments one of the terms of the NEW Marriage COVENANT?

Matthew 19

16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but —- if thou wilt enter into life,——— keep the commandments.

Jesus Christ told the rich man to gain eternal life the rich man must obey, must keep, must not transgress the 10 Commandments — and in verse 18 Christ listed 5 of the 10 when the rich man asked which he must keep.

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear FALSE witness,

19 Honour thy father and [thy] mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go [and] sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come [and] follow me.

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

Thus when I post comments and papers stating the Torah, in which the 10 Commandments are found, must be obeyed many accuse me of heresy. Really? So is Christ teaching heresy?

By the way the rich man was placing his wealth before God thus in effect breaking all 10 commandments.

Do you honestly believe Jesus Christ the Son of God the Father, the Bridegroom, spent 3 ½ years here on this earth teaching the terms of New Marriage Covenant i.e. one must repent from sinning and then changed that requirement at His Death??

And that makes sense to you??

If so then you are expecting Jesus Christ will willingly marry a fornicator, a liar and an idolater ?

The vast majority do not and can not understand Jesus Christ will not marry a sinner and as sin is the transgression of the Torah – the Bride must be keeping herself pure and righteous, She must be obeying the 10 Commandments.

The instructions Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom, gave to the Rich man were 100% correct.

Once a person is cleansed of their sins by the blood of Jesus Christ do you think for one second Christ would marry a bride that has return to sin?

For those bringing up Jeremiah 31: 33, if you lust after a man or a woman even though you have the Law written on your heart and in your mind — that act – only in our mind —- is still SIN and you are sinning.

Show us the Words of Jesus Christ stating the terms of the New Covenant marriage agreement would be altered or changed by HIS DEATH.

YOU CAN NOT!

And that is exactly what so called Christianity has accepted as “truth” as they believe and teach the LAW, the entire Torah, was abolished at the stake.

Again Jesus Christ came to reveal to His Bride the terms of their marriage contract: “ repent and be baptized” and then after His death “Christians” believe He changed the terms? Repent and baptism is replaced with “Only believe”.

If Christ abolished the Law then He is changing one of the major clauses in the marriage contract === explain why Christ would do so. Christ confirmed the New marriage Contact for 3 ½ years and then decided after His death the contract was inadequate or worse too difficult ?

What most are in effect accepting as truth: Jesus Christ spent 3 ½ years confirming the wrong marriage contract.

If this does not make sense to you – then you are one of the deceived.
