Most Christians See the Wedding Parables as Just Metaphors of Readiness Pre or Post-Trib for Heaven

We are to live by every word of God, Matt 4:4; Luke 4:4. The wedding parables are more than just readiness and we are failing to see when the kingdom is set up. The apostle Paul twice gives us clues pointing to Egypt.    He said He would not have us ignorant, 1Cor 10:1,11. 

in 1Thess 5. The clues fit an Exodus-like event. God judged Egypt and took Israel to a covenant that made them His kingdom and bride, Exod 19;5,6; Jer 3:14.

When the disciples wanted to know when Christ would restore the kingdom to Israel, He said it was not for them to know the “times and seasons,” but that’s the same phrase Paul uses to say we know them and then his six phases all fit the Exodus in 1Thess 5:1-3.

1  “The day of the Lord” is the end-time extension of “night of the Lord” when God executed judgment on Egypt The US is like Egypt with most people in bondage to negative lifestyles. Egypt threw babies in the river and the US has thrown 63 million babies in the trash—judgment’s coming!

2. “Comes as a thief.” God came as a thief to Egypt and took their slaves; Christ said if we don’t watch, He will come as a thief, Rev 3:3.

3. “In the night” Nobody saw God when He came and nobody will see Christ when He comes as a thief in a parallel event. Luke’s wedding parable says He will “knock.” The “knock” is an earthquake — that’s how the ancient church of Laodicea ended. It was lukewarm with materialism as US churches now. 

4. “when they say ‘Peace & safety’ like Pharaoh’s chariots in the Red Sea, Iran’s Nuclear Treaty is similar.

5. “Sudden destruction” came on Pharaoh’s chariots and will be part of the judgment coming with the earthquake that precedes the 7 trumpets in Revelation 8:5,6. 

6. “Comes on them…”–those who say “Peace & safety”

7. “watching” (being awake) was required in Egypt, Exod 12:10 and for us, Matt 26:38-41; 1Thess 5:6

The wedding parable of Matt 22 does not fit the 2^nd coming with a trip to heaven.
