There have been many “End of the World” predictions over the years none of which have come true. Even now the Climate Change activists are predicting the end of the world unless we all Do Something Now. It’s an easy scam to pull off because we really have no other place to go, so if you scare someone into believing that they won’t have a world to live on they will do whatever they are told will change that. Including giving up their freedoms and rights and money. But is it true? Is the world really going to end? Is life on earth going to end? For that answer we need to find out from someone that knows.
The first sentence in the Bible says “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”. The Bible also says that God created the earth to be inhabited. ”For this is what the LORD says…he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited..” And the Bible also says in many places that God constantly looks after the earth and its inhabitants. And we also know that the sun, moon, and stars will be here Forever. “Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the heights above. Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts. Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars. Let them praise the name of the Lord, for at his command they were created, and he established them for ever and ever he issued a decree that will never pass away.” (Psalm 148) So we can stop being afraid because we know that the World will Not End as some think it will. And God will make sure that it is “livable” for us even though we don’t look after it very well, He will. He has made sure that life can exist on this earth since He created it and He will make sure that life will exist on this earth for Eternity as well. How do we know that? Because God is going to come live with us right here on this earth for Eternity, that’s how. “Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21) If this is not the most comforting scripture then what is? So we can relax, God is going to come live with us right here on this earth. It will still be here, and so will those that believe in Him.
