Spiritual Warfare: Do You Have a Daily Prayer Covering?

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (Eph 5:11)

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph 6:12)

The spirit realm is real. Satan is real. And obedient Christians will find out very quickly how real; especially when they taken up their own personal cross, and enter in at the strait gate, and walk the narrow way of Jesus.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (Jas 4:7)

Notice that the way to “Resist the devil” is through OBEDIENCE: “Submit yourselves therefore to God.” Obedience to what? To the words and commands of Jesus Christ. Curiously, this part of the verse is oftentimes left off by today’s church.

The Daily Prayer Covering below was adapted from one written by deliverance minister Scott Hensler. Some additions and subtractions were made, along with adjusting it for a couple. It is very comprehensive; but tweak and create your own, depending upon your own circumstances.

It is a great way to start each day, with a covering from the Lord. Also, it is highly recommended to pray your daily prayer covering OUT LOUD.

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. (Ps 5:3)

Daily Prayer Covering

Heavenly Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, I bind, rebuke, and bring to no effect over _____ and myself:

all division, discord, disunity, strife, anger, wrath, murder, criticism, condemnation, pride, rebellion, defiance, envy, jealousy, gossip, slander, evil speaking, complaining, lying, false teaching, false gifts, false manifestations, lying signs and wonders, poverty, fear of lack, fear spirits, murmuring spirits, complaining spirits, fretting spirits, hindering spirits, controlling spirits, retaliatory spirits, deceiving spirits, seducing spirits, lusting spirits, addictive spirits, religious spirits, occult spirits, witchcraft spirits, and antichrist spirits, all foolishness, seduction, immorality, unbelief, idolatry, covetousness, confederacy, ignorance, accidents, confusion, slothfulness, infirmity, despisement, accusation, fraud, sickness, judgmentalness, stubbornness, superstition, and all manner of concupiscence.

I break all curses that have been spoken against me and _____, all witchcraft curses and word curses. I bind all spoken judgments made against us, and judgments we have made against others. I bind and render useless the power of negative words from others and the power of negative words from ourselves, and I bind and render useless all prayers not inspired by the Holy Spirit, whether psychic, soul force, witchcraft or counterfeit tongues that have been prayed against us.

And I bind and render useless: all parasites, nanobots, graphene, hydrogels, aerosols, quantum dots, toxic metals, neuro-weapons, bio-weapons; air, water, and food pollutions, or any other pestilences that walketh in darkness in our bodies, souls, and minds. They are all bound, rebuked, nullified, and cast out in Jesus’ Holy name and by the blood of Christ.

And the Lord put a hedge of protection around me and _____ from all nefarious, unclean, harmful, and disease-causing frequencies and electro-magnetic fields. We nullify them all in Jesus’ name and by the blood of Christ.

No weapon formed against us shall prosper. I put on the whole armor of God on each one of us. We take authority over this day and this night, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let it be prosperous for us, Lord, let us walk in your love, in your blessings, with the host of Heaven ministering to us, protecting us, from all the powers of darkness.

The Holy Spirit leads and guides us all the day and all the night. Lord, help us to discern between the righteous and the wicked. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we take authority over Satan and his demons and those people who are influenced by them. _____ and I are dedicated to God through Christ Jesus. Satan and all his demonic spirits are bound from our minds, our bodies, our home and our possessions, in Christ Jesus’ Holy name.

Whatsoever we set our hands to do shall prosper, for God supplies all our needs. By the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have all authority over Satan, all demons and beasts of the field. Lord, I claim a hedge of protection around myself and _____ all the day and all the night.

I ask you Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to dispatch angels to surround me and _____ from this moment forward, and to put them throughout our home, and around our souls and bodies. I ask for angels to protect our home from any intrusion and to protect me and _____ from any harmful demonic or other physical or mental attacks.

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray, by the blood of Christ.

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. (Rom 16:20)
