Calling All Patriots: To join the Million Veteran March and Protest Oct. 11th-13th

Our mission is to deploy nationwide implementing veteran marches to proudly support our nation’s veterans in a patriotic way, and raise awareness to the issues affecting veterans. Organize, plan, and implement veteran marches throughout the country, to honor our veteran’s service, their sacrifice, and to enthusiastically support our nation’s values.

Our membership is comprised entirely of war veterans.  We are not a protest organization, and do not promote political agendas, but instead, choose to operate in a spirit of unity.

We are fed up with veterans being used as political pawns and are calling all patriots to attend, via our facebook page:

We are all military brats, current and former military spouses and some veterans. We cannot express how utterly disappointed we were that our Greatest Generation were being used as political pawns in the ongoing government shutdown and budget crisis. This should never be the case.

We do not care what political leanings you may be; be it liberal, conservative, Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Independent or whatever. The actions of the U.S. government this week with regard to barricading and shutting down the World War II Memorial to veterans, that may or may not be on their last trip to Washington DC, is a despicable act of cowardice.

Veterans this week were unwillingly pitted as pawns in this crisis. We feel that this should never be the case. This is why we will go to Congress after the budget crisis and ask for a bill to be introduced that would prevent any member of the government from closing our memorials down to any American, except for maintenance purposes. In the meantime, we will have our March in Washington DC on October 13th! Our veterans deserve that!

Many in our group have decided that enough is enough. We are Americans. We are proud of our heritage and our service. As all of us were military brats and spouses, we have served in some form or another our entire lives. This is our way of life. We will not stand by and let the U.S. government dishonor the legacy of sacrifice of the generations before us. It is time to make a stand! We hope that you will join us in our peaceful protest against anti-American policies.

One Voice Silenced, Millions Awakened

This month ALL Americans have an opportunity to participate in a nationwide protest. None of us can ever say we couldn’t do anything to make a difference because there is an option available… to everyone. What can you do to help? After all, you don’t drive a truck. There are 8 things most of us can do. You can do what millions of others plan to do from Friday, October 11th through Sunday, October 13th.

 

HOW TO JOIN THIS HISTORICAL EVENT

 

CONSUMER FAST- Tell your reps in Congress you will not spend one more dime on non-essentials- Cut gas and energy consumption, buy local, reduce your FEDERAL INCOME TAXES via 401k’s and Roths…DIVEST out of stocks!! As long as Congress continues to spend like a bunch of druken sailors we will continue our “no spend protest”. They Won’t Listen Any Other Way…Stand Up and demand JUSTICE!

Enough is enough! WE WILL NO LONGER STAND BY WHILE YOU LOOT OUR COUNTRY!

There will be ZERO mainstream media discussion of this General Strike BEFORE it happens. ZERO. So, we must BE OUR OWN MEDIA and promote it. Link to this site from sites and blogs. The soft tyranny we endure now on a daily basis has turned scores of Americans into reluctant activists, no longer satisfied with participation in mundane “demonstrations” that prove and accomplish nothing.

Nearly everywhere you turn, crowds of angry Americans are gathering, no longer content to merely sit idly by and remain spectators to the cavalcade of injustices being perpetuated ad nauseum against We the People by criminal governments that have long since lost their legitimacy.

Everyday we are horrified and disgusted by the arrogance of those who gleefully and willingly participate in the destruction of our country. We get mad, we post these articles and alerts which keep us up to date on all the new traitorous actions of our politicians who’s desire is to destroy/ remove our Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence and sovereignty.

 

We now know that our government is not listening to us, nor do they intend to.We do have some (very few) honorable men and women, who are standing firm for our Constitution and Republic. They are like lone rangers because as they have stood up to fight for our country, many of us are sitting in front of our computers talking about all that is going on, but what else are we doing to help them, or to help ourselves and to fight for our children’s futures? I have to add there are many people standing up and fighting for our country to, but they need our help.

So, what can we do?

 

What are we willing to do? What are we willing to sacrifice?

 

Are we willing to be arrested and jailed in our fight?

 

Are we too consumed with our worldly comforts to get out and fight?

 

Are we beaten down by our government to where we cower and do nothing?

 

When I use the word fight, I mean putting boots on the ground….putting actions to our words.

We are now constantly reacting to this government. We need to switch that…we need to get on the offensive.

We live in a time when elected politicians ignore the needs of their constituents; where the judiciary and police institutions will not uphold the rights of citizens; where the media are afraid to report the truth; where lawlessness abounds and ordinary people are left unprotected and defenseless against the rapacity of a few. The answer to our dilemma is for people of courage to actively help each other. Only if we unite can we succeed. That is the only way. There is no other way. People, get up, stand up! ORGANIZE!

 

Republicans, Democrats, Independents and non-voters UNITE. You’re Americans first!

 

The General Strike is a national call to action, from citizens to other citizens.

 

The strike targets key issues facing the American public, issues that have not been addressed in any meaningful way by any branch of government.

 

Unions, corporations and the major parties have failed to deal with pressing matters of war and peace, income inequality, crime and punishment and the meaning of citizenship itself. It has fallen to the American people to set things right!

 

Public protest is an important part of democracy, just as much as a free press, a judiciary, and congress. A general strike does NOT have to be violent. It is a matter of CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE, NOT VIOLENCE. You are NOT going to school. You are NOT going to work. You are NOT shopping. You do NOT have to be violent to NOT do those things. March legally. Protest legally.

 

You will need to plan, set up and hold your own local protest. Vigorously promote your protest via local activist and church groups. Also on social networking sites- Facebook, Meetup, Tribe, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube, etc. Call in to talk radio shows, print and distribute this flyer, create freeway banners, write OPEDs, etc., etc. You will need to organize enough people to shut down, disrupt normal operations of your local city, town, county and state.
