Hundreds try to break into Israel embassy in Jordan
Protest against Israel in Amman: Hundreds of Pro Palestinian protesters tried to break into Israel’s embassy in Jordan. The Jordanian government is also objecting the operation in Gaza, but still placed police to prevent the riot from getting close and pushed them back.

The protest against the military action of Israel did not only reach from Jordan protestors but also from the Amman government. The Jordanian government demanded Israel to stop the operation claiming it is against the international law and hurts the effort to progress the peace effort.
The “My brother’s keeper” operating was also condemned in Jordan. The Jordanian ambassador to the human rights council in the UN said his country is objecting “the collective punishment of Palestinians citizens while searching for the missing in the West Bank and Jerusalem”. According to him, “Israel is attacking religious leaders, Christian and Muslim and holy places.”

The last time a protest in Jordan erupted against Israel was in Match, when 2000 people protested the death of the Jordanian judge in Allenby crossing. The protestors burned Israel’s flag and demanded the banishment of Israel’s ambassador. A senior in the Muslim Brotherhood in the country said in the demonstration that the “Jews are the enemies of this nation”, and received applause.

The protestors carried an empty coffin and called against Israel, under heavy security. A few engagements occurred between rioters and the police that tried to prevent them from reaching the embassy building.

“For four days there are attacks and houses are being destroyed everywhere in the strip”. Said in an interview Sami A-Bait, a Gaza resident. “Israel’s government is destroying targets here. We suffer a shortage in fuel and medicine. And yesterday people set down and watched the world cup games and then got bombed, I do not know what is going on with them.
