URGENT: Facebook Begins Censoring Criticism of Baltimore Police

Facebook has begun censoring content related to the protests, riots, looting, and constant police brutality present in Baltimore. We shouldn’t be surprised- after all they’ve censored a great deal of content before, famously taking down the Facebook page of one of Putin’s rivals- to Suckerberg, nothing is sacred anyways, Facebook was mostly founded as a way for the government to gather personal data.

I tried posting my (obviously satirical) Baltimore Gestapo PSA video to my own page and it was blocked “for security reasons”- obviously a chuckle at the Baltimore PD’s expense is a security concern; if your concern is dumbing people down and preventing all criticism.

I can’t say I’m surprised- liberty is at an all time low and most of America knows it; to the point where between the militarized police, the surveillance apparatus, and the denigration of most of the constitution, urban areas (and web related companies operating in them) have begun to resemble something vaguely reminiscent of East Germany under Soviet rule. Surprise surprise; turns out you really can’t say what you want in the supposed land of the free; if Suckerberg or one of his ilk doesn’t like it, that is.
