The cross is made from the cross Arthur Blessitt has carried around the world in 319 nations, island groups and territories.
The Celestis11/Falcon 9 satellite was launched May 22nd from Cape Canaveral, Florida.
It orbits at an altitude of 165-196 miles (265-315km) and orbits the earth every 90 minutes. It should remain in orbit for about one year.
