CBS ‘Person of Interest’: Predictive Programming for a New World Order?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

In Person of Interest, the surveillance state is the hero that saves society.

CBS’ action drama “Person of Interest” debuted in 2011 to critical reviews and excellent ratings. The show centered on a technological genius living in Manhattan, New York who creates a computer for the government capable of monitoring all people all over the nation at all times through the “digital cloud” and uses this computer to work with a former CIA agent to stop crime.  As it turns out, the show was eerily prophetic. The NSA spy center and cities across America are using technology to launch a surveillance system that works in a similar fashion, and as Beginning and End has already covered, on the national level, the day of full-scale surveillance of all citizens electronic communications has already begun.
The Show

Here is the introduction for Person of Interest:

As the opening states, all people are being watched. “The Machine” as it is called on the show, is able to pull all cell phone conversations, access all computer communications, emails, texts and access any public camera, to not only record the activity of all people all over the country, but also interpret the emotion and behavior of people to “predict” when a crime or terrorist attack is going to occur. And in dramatic fashion, the heroes, Finch (the computer genius) and Reese (the CIA agent/special forces soldier) rush in to find the potential victim and save them before the crime is committed.  While this may seem like the stuff of science fiction, in our article “New World Order Surveillance State: Building The All-Seeing Eye” we explained that this technology actually exists:

Under construction by contractors with top-secret clearances, the blandly named Utah Data Center is being built for the National Security Agency. A project of immense secrecy, it is the final piece in a complex puzzle assembled over the past decade. Its purpose: to intercept, decipher, analyze, and store vast swaths of the world’s communications as they zap down from satellites and zip through the underground and undersea cables of international, foreign, and domestic networks. The heavily fortified $2 billion center should be up and running in September 2013. Flowing through its servers and routers and stored in near-bottomless databases will be all forms of communication, including the complete contents of private emails, cell phone calls, and Google searches, as well as all sorts of personal data trails—parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases, and other digital “pocket litter.” It is, in some measure, the realization of the “total information awareness” program created during the first term of the Bush administration—an effort that was killed by Congress in 2003 after it caused an outcry over its potential for invading Americans’ privacy. — (source)

Not only can the new NSA spy center track all electronic communications, the head of the CIA gave a speech explaining that even household appliances will be able to monitor their owners while they are home:

[CIA Director] Petraeus says that web-connected gadgets will ‘transform’ the art of spying – allowing spies to monitor people automatically without planting bugs, breaking and entering or even donning a tuxedo to infiltrate a dinner party. ‘Transformational’ is an overused word, but I do believe it properly applies to these technologies,’ said Petraeus. (source)

In addition to spying, the technology will also employ computers that can evaluate behavior and “predict” when a crime may potentially take place. Arizona border patrol offices are now using computer scanners that can assess behavior, emotion and intent.   A security company in Utah is now working with law enforcement agencies to produce “pre-crime” ankle bracelets for parolees that can predict when they are ready to violate their parole terms . The City of San Francisco has now switched to advanced camera systems to detect illegal activity before it happens and 38 of these “pre-crime” cameras are going to be used at the 2012 Republican National Convention.

Predictive Programming

On Person of Interest, the hero’s reliance on surveillance is not just life-saving it’s exciting and cool.

“Predictive programming works by means of the propagation of the illusion of an infallibly accurate vision of how the world is going to look in the future…” (Michael Hoffman, Secret Societies and Psychological Warfare, p. 205)

Can the use of television and movies implant ideas into the subconscious to help their acceptance in the future? This is exactly what the concept of “predictive programming describes. In Person of Interest, not only is “The Machine” not seen as harmful, it is one of the “heroes” of the show as it provides the protagonists with the information they need to stop a crime before it happens. As the former CIA agent works “in the field” to track down the potential victim, the computer genius is at their hidden base, using The Machine to track down any information they need. At each step, using surveillance technology gets the heroes closer to saving a life. In the scene where Finch reveals, in a very emotional fashion, to Reese how he is able to know so much about all people, the show uses the tragedy of 9/11 as the inspiration for The Machine.

As Finch explains, “the Machine is everywhere.”  All the while, the idea that this type of invasive, constant surveillance of the private communications of all people, at all times is a beneficial and even necessary part of society, is being planted in the subconscious of the viewer.

The All Seeing Eye – Satan’s Agenda

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. — 2 Chronicles 16:9
The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. — Psalm 33:13
For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven; – Job 28:24

It is God who has the ability to see all people at all times and know the intents of the hearts of all people. Satan, who wants to be God, does not have this power, but will work to establish it through technology. Technology has been one Satan’s main tools in leading humanity in rebellion against God. And this advanced surveillance technology will bring society one step to the New World Order.
If this seems to be exaggeration, consider the quotes below from Zbigniew Brezinski, former National Security Adviser to President Jimmy Carter.

Zbigniew Brezinski’s predictions about surveillance society were amazingly accurate.

He was the first head of the Trilateral Commission in addition to being a member of the Council On Foreign Relations.  Brezinski also served as the Foreign Policy adviser to President Barack Obama during the President’s 2008 campaign (in fact Obama praised Brezinski as “one of our most outstanding thinkers.”). These quotes are taken from Brezinski’s book, Between Two Ages: America’s Role In The Technetronic Era. Written in 1970, the book examined America’s role in the future society as technology was rapidly expanding. Some of Brezinski’s predictions were stunning for their accuracy:

“In the technetronic society the trend would seem to be towards the aggregation of the individual support of millions of uncoordinated citizens, easily within the reach of magnetic and attractive personalities effectively exploiting the latest communications techniques to manipulate emotions and control reason.”

“The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values (of Liberty). Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities.”

“Society dominated by an elite whose claim to political power would rest on allegedly superior scientific know-how. Unhindered by the restraints of traditional liberal values, this elite would not hesitate to achieve its political ends by using the latest modern techniques for influencing public behavior and keeping society under close surveillance and control.” (Brezinski, Between Two Ages: America’s Role in The Technetronic Era).

Babies and women in distress are often the potential victims who are saved by ‘The Machine.’

Notice how the book fully comprehends the power of media and technology to persuade, monitor and ultimately control society. And this was written over 40 years ago. The book of Revelation, written 2,000 years ago, details the New World Order of the Antichrist, who is the head of a global government in addition to being seen as god. In this society every citizen is tracked, all transactions are monitored and every citizen is required to give their full allegiance and worship to the Antichrist under penalty of death. The final foreboding verses of Chapter 13 describe the system of mandatory worship and the implementation of the Mark of the Beast instituted by the Antichrist (referred to in Scripture as “The Beast”) and his cohort, the False Prophet.

And [The False Prophet] deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. — Revelation 13:14-18.

This is the nightmarish end of the surveillance state.  And what is even scarier is that the Bible prophesies that many people will want and embrace the Antichrist and this system. Similarly on the TV show, the Machine is beloved. It is one of the heroes right along side the human protagonists. And the show makes surveillance technology seem attractive and downright cool while ignoring the dangers inherent with every citizen being fully tracked and followed.  In the season finale, a woman who is slightly deranged but one of the few people on Earth who knows the truth about The Machine, tells Finch, “you created God!” giving a brief glimpse into how powerful this technology truly is.

The plans of globalist thinkers, technology and Bible prophecy all appear to be racing towards a collision course. Just as Brezinski, Person of Interest and the Bible all predict, society is indeed on its way to full surveillance and control. The only difference is that the Bible prophesied these events 2 millennia before any of this technology was even conceivable. This is why it is important to study and believe the Bible. It contains much more than just prophecies about the New World Order. It contains prophecies about eternal life. And that is achieved through faith in Jesus Christ. Living “off the grid” or hiding in a bunker will not save your soul. Put your faith and trust in Jesus, who will return, end this age of evil and establish a true “order” based on true peace, righteousness and love. And rather than being forced to take a mark or give up your liberty to be a servant to “the elite”, you can choose to worship Jesus who welcomes all people with open arms:

” For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” – Jesus Christ, John 6:38-40.
