The Execution of Alex Jones

Earlier in the year Alex Jones was told by someone to get his legacy in order, with a clear line of succession, and prepare his business to be franchised to others because he is going to die.

What purpose would it serve? Who would say such a thing, and should Jones take this seriously? Well from the outside it seems Jones is taking the steps outlined to him in that communication.

The context wasn’t threatening as much as promising in the same way Hitler told his general Rommel to get his house in order. Stalin was famous for this too or so I’m told.

The person in question has been an engine behind Alex Jones. Jones’ stable of guest experts from just before his show hit the critical mass needed for sustainability are all tied to this man very strongly with regard to religious, philosophic, and political views and relationships. They are his partners, friends, and pupils.

One only needs to go through the show archives to see most of the former and current stable of experts are the libertarian and Christian Theonomists that invaded government starting in the Reagan era.

From there with a constant flow of PHD’s, former high government officials, 3^rdparty candidates, experts in science, politics, and religion they were able to attract other experts, journalists, and whistle blowers to break out of the initial round robin of experts. Independent experts expressing genuine concerns started seeing it as a great medium to present real issues.

Sound unlikely? Gary North claimed that “the ideas of the Reconstructionists have penetrated into Protestant circles that for the most part are unaware of the original source of the theological ideas that are beginning to transform them.” North describes the “three major legs of the Reconstructionist movement” as “the Presbyterian oriented educators, the Baptist school headmasters and pastors, and the charismatic telecommunications system.”

This he did and splendidly.

When this proved effective they moved to the secular and found outlets including Jones by providing expert witness, stories and storyline.

When the argument comes that Alex Jones is a great researcher who fought the system heroically, I point to an over 20 year relationship, and ask you simply “google” the experts.

North is on record saying “Bribery, lying, and manipulation” are good if it gets Reconstructionists where he wants them.

For him an “Alex Jones” is a part of the machinery like a microphone or a bullhorn.

Because of their bellicose beginnings this movement started using exterior outlets. There are many groups not tied directly but truly aligned to his foundations. This gets rid of the initial stigma they caused and broadens the spectrum of followers based on individual issues, largely in the patriot movement.

As an example Mr. North now bills himself as a Tea Party economist.

North wanted to create a generation that understood “The long-term goal of Christians in politics should be to gain exclusive control over the franchise. Those who refuse to submit publicly to the eternal sanctions of God by submitting to His Church’s public marks of the covenant–baptism and Holy Communion–must be denied citizenship, just as they were in ancient Israel. “Gary North, Political Polytheism: The Myth of Pluralism (Tyler, TX: Institute for Christian Economics, 1989), p. 87.

From this the idea of a Christianized military not only gained ground but transformed it at an elementary level for the express purpose that eventually fulfills their new purpose: “Thus, fourth, the covenant people must wage war against the enemies of God, because this war is unto death. The deliberate, refined, and obscene violence of the anti-God forces permits no quarter.“

Fifth, this warfare must continue until the Amalekites of the world are blotted out, until God’s law-order prevails and His justice reigns .”R.J. Rushdoony, The Institutes of Biblical Law (Nutley, NJ: Craig Press, 1973), p. 318.

When the argument comes that Alex Jones is a non-interventionist and a stiff Constitutionalist my premise and counter is simple.

The easiest way to murder and justify the deaths of many people is to have true Constitutional cover. Who can argue?

These strict Constitutionalists want to restrict Federal involvement not to protect rights but to usurp protections and render the argument to local authority. Mr. North among other things advises Alex Jones to teach his listeners how to take over their County Government.

If the county government does have the right to legislate within its geography and establish its own capital crimes list and execute then-

“So when Exodus 21:15-17 prescribes that cursing or striking a parent is to be punished by execution, that’s fine with Gary North. “When people curse their parents, it unquestionably is a capital crime,” he writes. “The integrity of the family must be maintained by the threat of death.” Likewise with blasphemy, dealt with summarily in Leviticus 24:16: “And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him.”

Reconstructionists provide the most enthusiastic constituency for stoning since the Taliban seized Kabul. “Why stoning?” asks North. “There are many reasons. First, the implements of execution are available to everyone at virtually no cost.” Thrift and ubiquity aside, “executions are community projects–not with spectators who watch a professional executioner do `his’ duty, but rather with actual participants.” You might even say that like square dances or quilting bees, they represent the kind of hands-on neighborliness so often missed in this impersonal era. Alex Jones simply argues getting back to a strict Constitutional rendering of law. At that point the Law is the Law.

“However, I will attempt to explain this. We are talking about incorrigibility here. Cursing one’s parents does not mean simply swearing. What is implied here is far more serious. Incorrigibility would be required to be proven before the local civil elders before the child could be executed. It would need to be demonstrated that the child is out of control and will not obey his parents even when the most serious punishment — death — is threatened.

In the United States of America, in this century, there were laws on the books in some states that said that a thief could be put to death for repeat offenses. This goes beyond what the Bible prescribes, but we see the same principle at work — capital punishment for incorrigibility. Jay Rogers- What is Theonomy”

For the newly found 47% who are disenfranchised with Mitt Romney, Austrian economics and/or Ayn Rands’ version don’t favor you either. Lew Rockwell, his mentor the late Murray Rothbard, and the Ludwig Von Mises Institute lean on Gary North’s scholarship and views. Go to his site and see.

Here are Gary North’s views on job creation: -“At the other end of the curve, the poor man who steals is eventually caught and sold into bondage under a successful person. His victim receives payment; he receives training; his buyer receives a stream of labor services. If the servant is successful and buys his way out of bondage, he re-enters society as a disciplined man, and presumably a self-disciplined man. He begins to accumulate wealth.”[2]

Jones’ businesses are primarily funded by this same 47%. Presumably, no one within that 47% will ever be reduced to stealing food to live? A jobs program ahead of its time no doubt.

For most of the 53% don’t feel too bad you may understand it better soon enough.

Recently I was told a journalist I respect was going to be interviewed by Jones concerning his new book title “Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt.” This journalist has written extensively about Reconstructionist views and how destructive they are. Titles from “The Christian Right and the Rise of American Fascism”10/30/2011  by Chris Hedges [his parentheses](This is an article by Chris Hedges that no major publication will print.)  to “American Facists” dated 2004 he has seen this type of politic as a hidden problem and tried to expose it.

Am I left saying “Mr. Hedges, Come back from the dark side?” Hardly, Mr. Hedges is one of a handful that has put his freedom and fortune where his mouth is. He simply didn’t vet the host.

The interview covered his books title, and his current court cases to keep the executive branch from being able to “Guantanamo” you or me.

The next day the John Birch Society which was founded in part and funded in part by RJ Rushdoony ran the first article about it in their magazine “New American” Monday, 03 September 2012 11:17 “Chris Hedges: Revolt Is Our Only Option Written by  Joe Wolverton, II.” Granted it is a preaching to the choir but Mr. Hedges for the length of that article became Gary North’s poster boy. I could picture the old guy snickering and giddy.

Then the interplay got interesting. I heard a name mentioned during the broadcast and as if cued was brought up again the next day.

The Hagmann and Hagmann Heresy

According to the expert Doug Hagmann (Christian Reconstructionist) the storyline went like this; the government was about to abduct a few hundred thousand veterans so they couldn’t vote.  On his own show at one point he backed the statement by a source in the Pentagon. Then it was someone who heard the conversation in a hallway. Then maybe it was someone thinking it could happen.

The administration at this point is at least as culpable as the previous of many evils I agree. The anonymous source quoted as being an insider was a man named Greg Evenson, sundry radio host and writer for “News with Views”( fellow reconstructionist).

Problematically 4 years prior he ran the same storyline before the 2008 election. The then administration was going to round up hundreds of thousands of militia men. Thank God they exposed it….

The other witness a Steve Quayle makes his living selling books about “giants.” These three experts together worked the same story 4 years ago among other things and share a 20 year relationship.

Jones bulwarked their credibility by hitching it to Chris Hedges. It must now be true; a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist was there or was yesterday so we can mention his book.

Reconstructionist thought is an entirely political concern. Calvinism is a mode of totalitarian government and not religious thought.

So why did Gary North say Jones will surely die? It will light a fire under enough of the 47% like Lexington. Remember Lexington, or maybe Concord? Jones has taken their now quieter movement to the point where it needs to come out of the shadows.

Reconstuctionists have been as far as they can pushing the world to an abyss so they can be the cure. They have spent the last 50 years trying to destroy the US by effecting policy, and through propaganda. The myth of a Sharia law in America for example was so they could herd people under their own version.

You may well remember Mr. North’s efforts at Y2K. He was the expert of doom that birthed the “prepper movement.”

Every revolution needs its Nathan Hale, statues of its great men, its martyrs to rally around, and its reason to fire a first bullet. Every revolution needs to create them. Every revolution also suffers a hangover when it is found out that not all the revolutionaries were going to the same place. Ask the Egyptians or Libyans. They woke up with leadership they didn’t know.

They just never told Jones they are not interested in power sharing and he could not survive their test for apostasy or heresy. Jones faith point by point and side by side is the same as Leo Strauss. He is a political deist.

Mr. Jones, historian that you are; one of Hitler’s lead propagandists was asked after the war “Didn’t you know you were dancing with the devil? His reply; when you are dancing that close you can’t see his face.”

What is Mr. North’s greatest lament at this unhappy occurrence that at his insistence will happen? “And the key question: “Where would I get tipped off for my daily stories?”

My answer Mr. North; Go to Lew Rockwell or News with Views, any of the others you sent to Jones. Go to any of the hundreds of outlets you were careful to set up.

Given Mr. North’s sense of humor it may amuse him that the demise of the “Grand Conspiracy Theorist” in the end may become the grandest conspiracy of all.
