Apocalypse 12/21/12 Armageddon without Antichrist?

For the last few years there has been a great build up to 12-21-2012, the year of the Mayan Apocalypse. The world is going through catastrophic changes in weather, signs of the times, like earthquakes, floods, super storms, and disasters at an unprecedented scale.

Many are making preparations for the end of the world, the Apocalypse. Preparations have included Preppers storing provisions, building or buying bunkers, and all the way at the other end of the spectrum, openly welcoming a titanic change in the world we know.

For many Christians, the end of the world signals the great tribulation, the rapture, and then the Great Judgment at the return of Jesus Christ. For some it is a time of unimaginable fear, suffering and sorrow.

Instilled in Christian literature, based on the Books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, and the New Testament which culminates in the Book of Revelations, an entire genre of literature aimed at trying to speculate or research the last day has blossomed into a multi- billion dollar industry.

Aimed at the concerned faithful, much of this literature has been honest research. The rest of the apocalyptic writing and films are geared to making money off the fears and concerns of people. The writings on the end of days have never supplied people with good and sufficient answers about what to do to prepare for the Great Tribulation.

 For example, ask yourself; how long will rapture believing Christians suffer in the End of Days, or tribulation? The information has varied so much that until now you could pick any day within the 2,555 day period of the reign of Antichrist and write a book saying the Rapture will occur on that day. Seven years of tribulation is 2,555 days.

Until today, most explanations have defied the reality that people live in. Much information has come in the form of a seer’s vision of the last days, replete with dragons, monsters, and giants.

The films about the Apocalypse and the Rapture seem so surreal it may as well be scenes from the Lord of the Rings. In film there is no difference between Armageddon or a movie about Nuclear War.

Is December 21, 2012 the end of the world? Are the Mayan apocalyptic prophesies signaling the end of the world correct? Are all the turmoil, catastrophe, and storms signs that the Mayans were right?

The Mayans don’t think so. They are looking forward to the New Year! It is the start of Day 1, year 1 on the new long count calendar.

The entire buildup to the Mayan Armageddon has been a trap set by moneychangers to pervert the meaning of the Bible.

Why?              

The end of days without the Great Tribulation, Armageddon, or the Antichrist?

Can the end of days happen in December 2012? Absolutely not, for the God of the Bible to be correct it would mean the son of the Devil, Antichrist, has only 15 days to take his seat on a throne and declare himself to be a god, in a temple he has not built yet. Sounds a little farfetched even for the king of all liars. Otherwise the absolute savagery of the apocalyptic world promised in the Scripture was just nice imagery. The things described on earth have not come to their fulfillment yet.

Where does this lead us? Back to the beginning of course, and the great Apostle Paul stating “concerning the end times he would not have us ignorant.”

If Paul did not want the churches ignorant or fearful, then neither did God the Father, or the Lord Jesus Christ.

The answers to questions that Christians have today about the end times were taught by the Apostles. One of the greatest concerns for the earliest church was our time as we approach the end of days.

The sealed books, like Daniel, Ezekiel, and the Revelation, are now open, and their meaning clear to normal people like you, and me.
