The Sandy Hook School Tragedy: Was There A Second Shooter?

Beginning and End has covered the tragedy and devastation of the shooting murders at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Connecticut, one of the worst mass murders in American history. Adam Lanza, the alleged shooter who committed suicide in the school building has become the face of the entire attack. However, lost in the mainstream media coverage were the initial reports of a second shooter at the scene of the crime. And thus the question remains: was there possibly a second shooter involved in this crime?

In the wake of an attack, shooting or large scale tragedy, the initial media reports, often carry a great deal of information that is later filtered out as the media generally adopts a single narrative to explain a story. In the case of the Sandy Hook shooting, media coverage was all over the place in reporting accurate and inaccurate information. However, what seems to be clear is that at least initially there were many clear and credible reports of a second shooting suspect, who fled the scene and was apprehended by authorities. Here are some examples:

Here is a CBS news anchor and a correspondent on the morning of Friday, December 14th, openly talking about the second suspect:

Notice that not only was there a second suspect but they report that he was in custody.

Here is CBS News again reporting, from the scene of the crime, referencing the second shooting suspect.

The CBS local affiliate’s news website also reported on the second suspect being apprehended and added the details that his home was being searched:

CBS News reports that a potential second suspect was in custody and that SWAT was investigating the home of the suspect. It was not known if that alleged second suspect fired any of the shots in the massacre.

 
A witness tells WFSB-TV that a second man was taken out of the woods in handcuffs wearing a black jacket and camouflage pants and telling parents on the scene, “I did not do it.” (source).

The Sky Valley Chronicle then reported that a man fitting the description provided by the eye witness of the second shooter, was in the building:

Broadcast reports from the scene say the gunman reportedly walked into the school wearing camouflage pants and opened fire in one room killing the principal and an unknown number of other adults and then moved into to classrooms shooting at students and teachers in those rooms. (source)

The UK Telegraph, reported on Adam Lanza, who was wearing black fatigues and the second gunman who also wore camouflage pants as two different people:

The gunman, wearing black fatigues and a military-style vest, was found dead in a classroom, but it was not clear whether he took his own life or was shot by police.
A second man wearing camouflage trousers was seen being handcuffed. One witness described him shouting: “I didn’t do it.” (source)

It is interesting to note that this second suspect happened to not only be right in the direct vicinity of the school at the time the shooting happened, he was also aware of the shooting, since as he was being walked to the police car, he knew enough information to tell parents “I didn’t do it.”
Here is another witness, a student at Sandy Hook who was in the building during the shooting, who also reports seeing a second suspect in handcuffs.

Again, it is possible that this person who was apprehended had no involvement in the shooting. But for the amount of media coverage and global attention this case has received, why is that not one police press conference or official report has mentioned just who this second man was?

Here is a local news team, in the very early moments after the shooting ended, reporting live from the school and again make reference to the second shooter and the very odd coincidence that the second suspect and Adam Lanza were both wearing camouflage pants:

While there can be no definite conclusions drawn from these reports, it certainly raises the question of why no mainstream media outlet has picked up on this story or just raised the question to authorities. The Bible is clear though that as the world approaches the end times and the coming New World Order that will come along with it, a major sign will be unparalleled deception: “ But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” – (2 Timothy 3:13). In times of extreme tragedy, emotions run very high and it is thus even easier to accept any version of “the facts” that is being given. And the Sandy Hook tragedy is a perfect example as the media has gotten numerous details of this case wrong – whether the shooter was Adam Lanza or his brother Ryan. Reporting that Nancy Lanza, Adam’s mother, worked at the school. Reporting that , Peter Lanza , Adam Lanza’s father was murdered in his New Jersey home.

How so many basic details were incorrect in a contained story of a set event is unknown. But the discerning reader should know to use proper wisdom and understand that even the media can make glaring errors or promote a specific agenda in their reporting. Do not be deceived.

Continue in prayer for the victims of this tragedy and for the public to receive the accurate truth. But most importantly, that regardless of what further information come out about the story that people will look to the real truth, that never changes: and that is the truth of Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, who came to this world to give His life for all of the sins, lies, murders, attacks, hatred and all manner of evil that all people have committed. And in believing in His sacrifice as the payment to God for one’s sins, there is forgiveness and eternal life.
