Did a young girl start the rapture theory?

Today there is a teaching that the rapture was invented by a young girl’s dream in the 1500s. Here are references that show the rapture process was written in some of the oldest writings known to man. These references just include what I what read. This does not prove the rapture but it does prove the theory has been around longer than a few thousand years.

I still believe that the Holy Bible and other old documents describe a rapture of the few. It happens sometime before the great tribulation of the seven angels with seventrumpets. After the tribulation there is a collection of half of those remaining alive. These are two separate events. Then Christ returns. The Holy Bible don’t always fit into what we have been taught.

Micah 7:2 The good man is perished (disappeared) out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

Psalm 12:1 Help, Lord; for the Godly man cease; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

Revelation 3:10 Because you have kept the word of my patience (long-suffering), I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Luke 21: 34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (overindulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell (live) on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch you therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Revelation 2:22 Behold, I will cast her (Jezebel) into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
Notice: You can avoid the great tribulation by repenting. (Jezebel committed adultery against God by witchcraft (2 Kings 9:22).)

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.

2 Esdras 16:74 Hear, O you my beloved, said the Lord: behold, the days of trouble are at hand, but I will deliver you from the same.

Enoch 97:2 And in the day of the tribulation of the sinners, Your children shall mount and rise as eagles,And higher than the vultures will be your nest,And you shall ascend and enter the crevices of the earth, And the clefts of the rock for ever as coneys before the unrighteous, And the sirens shall sigh because of you-and weep. 3. Wherefore fear not, you that have suffered; For healing shall be your portion,And a bright light shall enlighten you, And the voice of rest you shall hear from heaven.

Enoch 63: 15 And the righteous and elect shall have risen from the earth, And ceased to be of downcast countenance. And they shall have been clothed with garments of glory, 16. And these shall be the garments of life from the Lord of Spirits: And your garments shall not grow old, Nor your glory pass away before the Lord of Spirits.

Enoch 51:1 And in those days shall the earth also give back that which has been entrusted to it, And Sheol (grave) also shall give back that which it has received, And hell shall give back that which it owes.

2 Esdras 13:22 Whereas thou have spoken of them that are left behind, this is the interpretation: 23 He that shall endure the peril in that time has kept himself: they that be fallen into danger are such as have works, and faith toward the Almighty. 24 Know this therefore, that they which be left behind are more blessed than they that be dead.
Notice if you are left behind alive you may still repent.

Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of my people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time my people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

After the tribulation there is a collection of half of those remaining alive.

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Matthew 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Matthew 24:41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Luke 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord will come. (But we know by the order of verses in Matthew 24 that it is after the great tribulation.)

You need to wait another thousand years before the great judgment.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Notice that the first resurrection is those who did not worship the beast. It does not say that the first resurrection is only those who were resurrected at one instance of time. To find out what happens to the rest of the dead read Revelation20:15.
